Whataburger

I’m from California and just had Whataburger for the first time.
Honestly I don’t know what the hype was about that place.
I don’t think In n out is the best either but it is better than Whataburger.
They had jalapeño ketchup which just reminded me of a chow hall in the field.

Can never seem to get the order correct. Whether three cars are in line or only one, it’s too much to handle. Given that due to their location and the frequency of crackheads and beggars interrupting orders, they might be used to the distractions and make the extra effort to complete proper orders, they still fall short at their service. Do not bother with calling to complain either, they are not interested in your disappointment or dissatisfaction. You will only receive what seems to be what also fails as an intelligent rebute.

After promising myself to never again get anything fried at this Whataburger, I did any way & once again, I’m not going to do it again. What is so difficult about changing the frying oil? The onion rings were made from perfectly good onions, perfectly cut, perfectly dredged and cooked but, they had a bitter aftertaste. The aftertaste was caused by old oil – yuck! They took my money. The French fries I got months ago were so bad I didn’t even try them after I got them home; they were so limp that it was frightening. Once again, this Whataburger took my money & at least one employee saw that a defective product was leaving the premises. Where is the franchisee when I need one? This store has a significant problem with frying & it needs to be corrected.

I was in a hurry today & absolutely starving so, I stopped by for just a sandwich. The other night, I didn’t ask for extra pickle slices & got 4. I got all of 7 pickle slices today. There must be a worldwide shortage of pickles or pickle slicers. I had my first Whataburger in Corpus Christi when it was still a drive thru. I am truly disappointed that the quality has suffered so very much while the price continues to increase so very much at Whataburger. I wonder if the meat I ate today was, indeed, beef or a version thereof. Come on owner, get with the program!

The people here are super friendly. Is this why I go here? No.
For made to order food, the delectables come fresh, fast and furious. Is this why I come here? No.
The biscuits and gravy are the best biscuits and gravy at the price point. Is this why I meander my way to this joint? HEEEELLLLLYEEEEESSSSS.
OH EM GEE. I LOVE THESE BISCUITS AND GRAVY. Can someone say HBCB? Yes! Me! HBCB. KILLLL EEEMMMMMMMM.
Oh and the people here for breakfast are really friendly.
Go whataburger, it’s your birthday. We gonna eat your food like it’s your birthday. We gonna drink your OJ like it’s your birthday. And nobody gives !@#$ it’s not your birthday.

I’m an avid fan of Whataburger, but this one has a slow service through the drive thru. This location is not the best either. However, I ordered a patty melt with extra avocado, it was delicious!

Food:
— Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit Sandwich: Sausage, egg, and cheese in jalopenos and cheddar cheese biscuit sandwich. The biscuit was good, I liked the extra kick. The egg was fresh but the sausage tasted like it was day old. It ruined the sandwich. ³⁄₅
— Whataburger: lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, pickles and white onions on a bun. This reminded me of a Whopper. Nothing special. 3.5÷5
— Honey Mustard Whatachick’n Club: Fried, breaded chicken breast with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and honey mustard sauce. This burger was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. ⁵⁄₅
— Fries: The fries were fresh and perfectly fried. The spicy ketchup was amazing. ⁵⁄₅
Service: The young lady who took our order was friendly. ⁴⁄₅
Final Thoughts: I was told that Whataburger is the In-​N-​Out of Texas. I don’t know if I would agree with that. Whataburger definitely offers a wide variety of food.

Whatadisappointment. I was visiting a friend in Texas’s and decided to try this place out, not very good. So much mustard, do they usually put only mustard? The meat was try and blah.
