I haven’t even tried the food yet but the customer service was bad! well by one lady who didn’t bother to speak any English or greet her customers. She was very rude to both the customers and other employees. On my way home to try the food but I will not be returning even if it’s good for the simple fact of customer service because to me that means a lot.

First time here, lunch on a Friday. All the food looked super fresh on the steam table. I usually drive across town to Hot Wok because that’s what I grew up with but yesterday I was at Sally’s and it smelled so good I had to come back today and try some lunch. I got 2 item combo for $ 6.50. So. Much. Food. She really stuffed the box fill of rice, chow mien, jalapeño chicken and Kung pao chicken. Very tasty noodles! Rice was very average but not dry/crunchy. Jalapeño chicken was by far the star of the meal. The fresh jalapeños had a little heat and the chicken was melt in your mouth tender and slightly sweet to offset the jalapeños. Honestly only one bite of the jalapeño was spicy, the rest were not. Kung pao chicken was tasty as well with nice little bites of water chestnut. I will be back and have my husband give it a whirl. I think I’ve found my new cheap Chinese joint. NOT a fan of panda and this hits the spot.

The food was horrible and the place was so dirty. The food was cold chewy and left a bad taste in my mouth. The chow mein noodles were old and mushed together. The BBQ pork was so hard to chew. They did give very large portions. Who wants more of cold tastless food. The place was dirty and I did not notice all the flies until after I was ordering. Shame on me. They has a steady stream of people coming in and ordering food so I was surprised that it was so bad. Never again

Food is good, and I will be returning. However, I hated waiting for service while the lady that should have been taking my order, stood there playing with her cell phone. I stood there for 120 seconds, and after no reaction, I walked out.(food isn’t that! good!!) Decent food, crappy service. Line to pay gets slow when they have to accept a credit card. Also the person you pay is also the one who makes«all drinks» including smoothies, so this makes the line to pay«SOOOSLOW» at times, you may be tempted to leave without your food. I know they don’t care to move you through efficiently, but, Oh well, tollerate the service and slow pay when busy, then enjoy the food.

If I could I would do zero stars. Asked for a Hong Kong bowl and didn’t get anything that was in the picture. When I asked why I wasn’t getting what’s pictured(rice, chicken and veggies) I was told it was only one item. Rude service, next time I’ll just go and pay more at Panda Express, they won’t mess up my order and they won’t be rude. This place needs to close down

To like this place, you have to know what you are in for. This is not PF Chang(by the way, the«PF» stands for Peter Flemming. Yep, it’s a white guy! Same guy that owns the steak restaurant«Flennings»). This is not Panda Express. This is a hole-in-the-wall place where you can get cheap tasty Chinese food for about $ 6.00 to $ 7.00. The service is nice plus they have Milk Tea!

This place use to be so good but the last couple times have been horrible. The food as been dried and under the heating lap way too long. Today was officially my last time here. My orange chicken was dry and hard to chew. My egg rolls were supper cold and when I told them the lady tried to stick them in the microwave and when I told her I didn’t want them she gave me fresh ones that were burned. The service here has just gone to shit. I’m sticking to China king this place is horrible.

In the past I would eat here two or three nights a week. I’m not sure what happened because one day everything changed(service and food) Today a friend suggested I give it another try. It is definitely headed in the right direction. I’m hoping they return to their former glory.

It’s cheap and they give you more than you would get at Panda Express. I sampled the following: Honey Chicken: It’s chicken breast with a honey ish glaze? It’s not breaded or deep fried/crispy. It’s ok. Orange Chicken: it does the job. It’s ok. Salt & Pepper fish: I’d order this next time! Not greasy, light and crispy and tastes good with siracha or chili paste. Egg rolls: Mushy Rice: steamed and sticky but not too sticky, which I prefer. Chow Mein: tastes how it should. Large Coke: Tastes like a g’damn American coke’ It’s like I went back in time to 1995 and am eating at the neighborhood Chinese spot with the wave(94.7) playing in the background.

This is mine and my finace’s favorite spot. We refuse to eat Chinese food at any other joint. The price is not too expensive and they make it worthy with the portions they serve. The best part… the food is delicious. It’s not greasy it’s not slimy(like I have encountered at other places) we are willing to make the drive every time we get a craving.

You would never expect it because when you walk in, Hong Kong Express looks like your typical Chinese fast food joint complete with quarter fed vending machines, and boba! In most ways it is pretty typical, however, it has some excellent entrees. My favorite of these is the Jalepeno Chicken, it’s amazing! I sometimes visit this little gem of a spot for a single side of the Jalepeno Chicken.

Walked here when getting car serviced at Subaru. The place is simple, cheap, and good variety. Establishment is clean and they even had the A/C on this hot day. Kudos for that! Will come back.

Great place and great prices this is actually my favorite place to go for Chinese food that is nearby! Definitely the taste is right and they don’t use msg I personally enjoy the food here! The portions are the right size and the taste is just as good as Panda Express or anybody else! Always clean neat and friendly!

Listen to the reviews. I ordered two 2 entrée plates. Very very bland! Has no taste. Pay the extra for panda express! Yes they give you tons of food but why would you want a lot of blah food? Teriyaki chicken was disgusting had a weird taste to it. Customer service was horrible. They barely say a word to you. Next time I want chinese I will go to panda! Save yourselves!

Great place! Good food, lots of food!!! Definitely coming back. It wasn’t overly spicy just right so everybody could add more hot sauce if needed!

This place isn’t so bad. True, it’s no panda express, pick up sticks, or any fancy Americanized Chinese restaurant, but for the price, it’s really spectacular. A buddy and I wanted to grab something cheap to eat and both of us were hunkering for Chinese food. Of course, Panda Express was pricey and we wanted something nearby besides having to drive to Rowland Heights for cheap Chinese. So, he suggested this place and I decided to give it a shot. For the most part, the restaurant’s pretty dirty and it could really use some renovating. When I came here at night, the state of the place made me question whether or not I made a mistake. But ignoring this, I decided to take my good buddy’s word for it. When I was inside, I couldn’t believe how unbelievably cheap the prices were: I ordered a combination plate of 1 item with rice and chow mein, and the final price came out to be $ 5.15, which was an unbelievable deal because they gave ALOT of food. Personally, I thought the fried rice and chow mein was not bad and was, for the most part, better than the chow mein served in most Chinese restaurants(MOST not ALL, keep that in mind). But what really bugged me was the meat dishes. Most of the meats are cold from the wok and are left heating by a heat lamp. Even if the food was a tad bit cold, it was still acceptable and I though it was pretty tasty. Overall, the food wasn’t bad and if I was asked, I would come here again, especially when the prices are just unbelievable(I think a bowl is about $ 3?). Bottom line, decent food, decent service and generous portions for an extremely low price! My only advice is to order to go because you will not be able to finish all of the food.

Great, cheap Chinese food! Their orange chicken with their hot sauce is so delicious ! The food portions are huge! I usually order combo B(about $ 6.50) and I always have leftovers for the next day or so! Everyone know a that Chinese food tastes better the next day!
