Called in a to-go order during lunch. Girl helping on the phone was very nice and efficient. Went to pick up the order. It was ready, paid and left. Great Customer service. The whole process took 5 minutes or less. The cashier was very polite and quick. Now, onto the food. I ordered a large shrimp Coctel de Camaron. Upon opening the bag, the large container is not a bad size. I guess it’s ok for 12 bucks. The coctel itself is VERY sweet. Normally I have to add ketchup to all my cocteles, but NOT this one. I found myself adding both little packets of salt that were provided and almost all the Tapatio that they gave me, and the whole lemon. I tend to favor things on the sweet side, but this is a little overboard. I prefer mine a little less sweet. The shrimp were abundant, cooked to perfection. The takeout order included a whole lemon, ketchup, Tapatio packets and crackers. They were generous with the crackers. In a pinch, if you don’t want to cook, this will suffice. You would definitely have to customize it when you got home. I’m on the fence about this one, loved the quality of the seafood, didn’t like the rest of the coctel. If they were to make it a little less sweet, this would be a home run.

Service was very good, loved the salsa, I agree with some posters that the chips are not great, the Shrimp Cocktail was fresh, i prefer mine less sweet, more spicy. The sweet threw me so next time I will opt for the Ceviche, but the food was fresh and well prepared. One of my favorite things these days is Aguachili and I was anxious to try theirs and it was delicious. Perfect amount of acid and heat and the Shrimps were huge. I was very pleased with it. The seafood here is fresh, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I will for sure go back and refer people. I posted pics. Enjoyb

Great place for a cocktail! Coming from Los Angeles this really hits home with the OG flavors from the hood here in the OC. Best part about it, they are not stingy with the shrimp. It goes a long way even for the small bowl. Great place to visit!

Went here today for a quick lunch and had some amazing fish tacos! I tired the combo two fish tacos with rice and salad… very tasty but wanted beans instead of rice and they do not have beans on the menu… that’s why they received a 4 out of 5 stars. This is the place if you like seafood. Big portions and a great taste!

We’ve been coming here for years. The fush tacos are delicious. Highly recommend the whole fish with garlic sauce. The Seven Sea soup is yummy. Nice and filling. Sometimes all we get is a medium mixed cocktail. The citrus tomato juice is so good. I really enjoy the homemade chips and red chile. Tastes like how Mom made it. Unfortunately the talapia fillets always taste frozen. The parking is VERYVERYBAD. Fridays are a nightmare. And they close st 8.

Underwhelming experience. Moldy scent that ‘perfumes’ the establishment. It’s a hit and miss with their A/C. Either too cold or blistering hot. The shrimp cocktail came a bit warm for my liking. Wasn’t cold and fresh tasting. Needless to say, I didn’t finish my meal. I was afraid of food poisoning. The chips are super greasy. The salsa is excellent. Their beers are not always cold and crisp. Disappointing.

I would recommend getting AC because I bought the camarones ala diabla and I was leaking had to keep getting napkins to wipe the sweat also got the shrimp cocktail and i felt it tasted really sweet I like mine more tangy and sour. The waitress we got was really nice and on point if we needed anything. the chips and salsa are pretty bomb

Have been on the hunt for a great shrimp cocktail in this area since my favorite places closed down a few years ago. So I Unilocaled and this one looked like it was worth a shot. Have to say very impressed with the cocktail. Got the large and added avocado to it. Flavor was great and the size was nice. Will be back this weekend for a few more and my fiancée loved it also. Also had the shrimp taco and ceviche tostada. All was really good. Parking is hard tho if they are busy and if get it to go call ahead it took about 20 min to wait!!!

From the extremely long wait to get our food(other people were served that got there after us) to the BEYOND rude waitress we were unfortunate to get, I will never be coming back here. This waitress had so much attitude over nothing(I’ve seriously never experienced anything like it). Oh and our orders didn’t come out at the same time, now a few minutes or so is normal but no I’m talking one person was half way done when the last plate was served(there was only 3 of us). Heads up to management: great customer service is key to customer retention! Seems simple enough right? Oh and if you’re craving Mexican rice or beans look elsewhere as they don’t have beans and serve a Rice-A-Roni type of rice(yuck!). You’ve been warned…

My eyelash person, Jessica, raved about this place and for 2 weeks I was debating whether or not to try this place. I didn’t want this to be hyped, only to get let down. Plus, the mixed reviews didn’t make it easy to take the plunge. Well, I am glad I did. I called in my order and the girl said it would be ready in 15 minutes, it took me that long to find parking. Even though the parking blows, and I had to walk a block and a half, the cocktail was pretty good. A large shrimp cocktail came to $ 12.97 with tax, and that’s with avocados. It’s easily enough for two people to share, or one piggly wiggly like me to have as my dinner. One person reviewed that the cocktail sauce is a bit sweet. I must agree. I think it’s because they use lime instead of lemons. But you can easily change that by adding more Tapatio. There’s plenty of shrimp and avocado in the large serving. It does lack chunks of tomato, and I did not see any cucumber. I also wish they could have used more cilantro. But taste wise, it was A-OK! In my to go bag, I was given a wedge of lime, salt and pepper, three packets of Tapatio(which I used 2) and 10 packets of saltine crackers. So, was it the best Mexican shrimp cocktail I’ve ever had? No. But for the price and the quantity, it sure beats making the stuff at home or traveling all over orange county to find one to fill my hankering.

I’m a big mariscos fan, I have to say I was a little disappointed. To begin the restaurant doesn’t smell very nice, huge turn off. It didn’t smell fishy but like they used the same moldy mob and rags to clean the place. I ordered the pulpo al mojo de ajo hot plate and was so disappointed, the rice was not very tasty either. The chips are very greasy but I must say the salsa is quite excellent. My boyfriend had a better experience he loved the 7 mares plate so we decided to give it another chance and decided on ordering a cold dish. I got the aguachiles to go and let me say they were excellent except for the fact that they didnt give me crackers or tostadas with them. Won’t be going back.

This restaurant is always cold; bring light sweater? Could even do with a heavy one. Their ac is always up. The free chips and salsa is bomb. The chip is crispy and yet not greasy or salty. The salsa is the perfect amount of spicy! Bottomless. Their food is purely authentic with none of that typical greasy flavor. seafood here never fails to be fresh. Highly recommend their octopus taco. I liked their chicken taco a lot. Their carne Asada taco was subpar; I just didn’t get much flavor from it. If you like ceviche you will enjoy it here! Guarantee this kind of Mexican food will leave you satisfied and not greasy

This place was a little disappointing :( The good things about the restaurant is that they give you a general portion of house chips and salsa, which they refill upon request. The chips and salsa were really tasty and the service was pretty decent and friendly. However the plates we ordered lacked flavor and were quite disappointing. We shared as an appetizer a mixed seafood cocktail which was pretty watery, almost like a cold soup. It did not have big chunks of seafood, avocado, onion, tomato like you would except. They put shrimp, octopus and scallops which was nice but they did not seem very fresh. The cocktail was also way too sweet for some reason. As for the dinner course I got the octopus a la Diabla. So I was expecting spicy and flavorful but instead it lacked the spices you normally expect out a la diabla sauce, although I did get a heartburn later that night :( The plates are pretty generous in portion they come with rice and a salad. The sides are good. But I don’t think I would give this place another try for a while.

Really neat place. I ordered three tacos; al pastor, shrimp, and fish. They were all very good. My favorite was the shrimp, followed by al pastor, and fish. Would be interesting to use the topping(cabbage) that was on the fish and use on the shrimp. Hostess was sweet as can be, and waitress was great. Despite English clearly being their second language(or third) they made an effort to help me order, spoke so nicely, and joined in pointing at the menu with me. I was given a Jarritos Tamarind soda, though I don’t know that I ordered it, and it was excellent! Very refreshing, and went great with the tacos. Nice menu with many choices of meals. I do tacos, so didn’t explore the menu further. Definitely great food, fresh ingredients, really nice staff, and worth coming to.

I love seafood and tostadas! I recommend the combination tostada with imitation crab, octopus and shrimps piled high. You can add an avocado on top which I totally recommend. This alone will get you full. The white fish sandwich was very tasty and so were the oysters on a half shell were good too. They only serve beer, boo! I saw in a past review they use to have margaritas but I guess not anymore. Good stuff, check it out! :)

Found this place on Unilocal while I was going through a mean Tostada craving. I got myself a small shrimp cocktail and tostada. The cocktail was a bit too sweet for me but it had a good amount of shrimp in it. I got the tostada with shrimp and octopus. I wish there was more octopus but it was pretty good. Definitely thought this place was decent, but nothing really stood out for me?
