Finally a beer shop around the area that I can say Woohoo, this is as good as it gets! I am actually shocked it has taken me this long to try this place out but better late than never.
Why is this place so awesome?
–Friendly staff
–Good draft selection, I drank a delicious Frostnipper with a sugared rim (if you want a larger selection of Aviator draft beers then I recommend the tap house which is located directly across the street)
–Bottle selection is diverse and gigantic (I am an indecisive person and could not decide on my 6 pack mixer so I bought an additional 4 pack mixer, whoops)
–Prices for bottles are EXTREMELY competitive
–So, you say you do not like beer? Do not worry, they have other options available such as wine and cider
Overall, a chill spot to grab beers with friends then go home with a few, or a lot, of your favorite bottles.
Beer is my friend (but not a friend to my waistline).

And Aviator expands AGAIN! Their beer shop is huge, stocked with all your favorites and a small bar. They’ve got cold brews in the fridge although no prices on those yet. You might even get a peak of the man Paddy O’Beers made famous (shout out to Josh, we miss you still!) Whether you’re looking for beer, cider, wine or mead, they’ve got your covered. Will admit, I had a less then positive experience at the brewery side of Aviator but the beer shop certainly seems more up my alley and social style. The crowd seemed to be a bit heavy on the older and male side on my late afternoon Saturday visit, but guess that’s what you get in Fuquay. Overall, Fuquay is lucky to have this new beer shop directly downtown and I love that they’re actually a bar as well as a bottle shop: late hours mean it’s a place you can end your evening at or have a nightcap before bed.

Aviator keeps the little town of Fuquay-Varina hopping and not just with beer hops. In addition to their brewery, taphouse and restaurant, they have apartments and this little bottle shop where they sell a variety of beer, wine, and cider.
You’ll find the Aviator Beer Shop at the intersection of E Broad and Stewart. On opposite sides of the same intersection are the Aviator Smokehouse at 525 E Broad and the Aviator Taphouse at 600 E Broad. You can order food at all three locations and servers deliver all the orders from the smokehouse.
The Beer Shop is a bottle shop with a small bar that seats a handful of people. The shop carries a small selection of wine, gluten free beer, cider, and even cigars. It’s a comfortable place to browse the aisles or have a beverage and order a meal from the smokehouse.
