Love is in the Hair

I would have given this place 5 stars, but it turned out to be more expensive than anticipated… HOWEVER. It is very true to the saying of you get what you pay for. I got the galaxy hair style and I am in loooooooove! The colors are so pretty and Crystal did my hair faster and more efficient than anyone ever has!!!
Also they should really change the dollar signs on Unilocal from 2 to 4.

Cecilia is the best! Amazing cuts and gorgeous color every visit. Always helps me come up with awesome ideas every time. The entire staff is very warm and friendly. Have been going here since December and will not go anywhere else!

I’ve been going here since January after I saw my friend’s gorgeous highlights and had to ask where she got them done. Cecilia is amazing. She takes her time to make sure everything is perfect and to make sure you’re happy! I got my hair done last week (chopped off a LOT!) and I love it. It feels so healthy. After a couple days with it, I was starting to feel like it was slightly longer on one side. I messaged Cecilia and she fit me in to her busy schedule and she and her staff fixed it right up. She was so apologetic and didn’t charge me a dime for the touch up. Just amazing customer service. Please support this salon! You will not be disappointed!

Well 3^rd time was not the charm for me here. Back to the old hairdresser I go! Running very behind and didn’t even acknowledge or apologize. Apparently there were some additional charges that I was not aware of as my bill was higher than originally anticipated. You will definitely not experience a peaceful environment as they gym next door is ridiculously loud! Hate it… really wanted to enoy this place, but spent too much money and time here to be unhappy!

Clean and comfortable environment to get yourself pretty. I went in for a pixie cut and Heidi did not disappoint. They are fairly priced for the professional service you receive. It has probably been 12 years since I have loved a hair cut and I love mine. Stop in and see these lovely ladies and get your dream do!

When we moved here in June, I was dreading finding a new salon after being with my previous stylist for 7 years. Did a lot of Unilocal searching and tried Love is In the Hair. Best find ever! Cecilia (co-​owner) is truly amazing. I generally have an idea of what I’m looking for, but leave the decisions up to her. She’s the professional! I’m happy to let her creative juices flow with color ideas and cuts and she has never let me down! Their prices are very reasonable, and can generally get an appointment whenever I want. Cecilia makes you not only look great but feel great to! I guess it’s true… Love is in the hair!!!

After trying 2 other salons in Fuquay, I made an appointment with Allison at Love is in the Hair. Best decision ever! She colored and highlighted my hair and I love it. I wasn’t going to have a haircut because it had been cut so short 2 months ago that I didn’t think any more should be cut off. Alison suggested a slight restyling and it’s perfect! I have finally found my hair salon «home» a year after moving to the area.

I’ll preface this by saying that I have very thick, course, unruly hair, and very few people have ever been able to cut it so that it was flattering and manageable. I’ve been going to Alison now for a couple years, and she really does an amazing job (and I don’t make it easy, changing it up a few times a year).
One of my biggest pet peeves is when a stylist is unwilling to offer their opinion when you’re choosing a new look, simply saying «whatever you want, it’s your hair». I personally feel that they are the professional and I’m paying for their guidance as well as the cut/​color (if I wanted to make a bad decision by myself I could buy it in a box and save the money!). Alison is always willing to offer her opinion if you ask, and will even tell you if you’re about to do something stupid (like cut it all off out of frustration because YOU let it go too long without maintenance!). I love having a stylist who’s confident and willing to make decisions with you, and I’m always happy with the result.
Lastly, the salon itself is nice, prices are reasonable, and although Alison is my stylist, I have never seen anyone else leave there unhappy either, so besides being very friendly it seems the whole staff are excellent at what they do.

I’ve always been picky about my hair cuts and high quality cuts are hard to come by these days. I am a guy and my hair has been butchered many times over by other salons. Alison has been my go-​to stylist for about 3 years now and I simply wont go to any other salon. She is that good and I believe that the other stylists she works with are also very good. Her personality and the atmosphere she creates adds to the experience. I couldn’t recommend a better person or better place for any guy to get their hair serviced!
