Hands down!!! Publix had the best subs ever!!! But it blew my mind today when I asked for a simple request(chop up a chicken tender and put it on a deli sandwich) and they told me it was IMPOSSIBLE! Every other publix does it with no questions asked. Thanks for the great customer service!

Whatever you do don’t buy the peaches and nectarines at this Publix. They’ve been running a $ 1.99 a pound«special» last week. Spent $ 10.00 on these, served them(w/o tasting first, big mistake!!), out for a healthy summer desert and had to throw them away. They tasted like sawdust. :-( Should have burned the $ 10 instead.

Pharmacy staff is very nice and very efficient but don’t get your prescriptions filled here if the prescription is something you need to carry around with you because Publix only has giant bottles that won’t fit in a pocket or pocketbook. Even when you ask for a smaller bottle with a prescription label on it – they won’t give it to you. Your alternative is to carry around a bunch of pills in an alternate container without a label – not a good idea at all. I tried emailing corporate and they confirmed that it was a corporate decision not to provide pocket size containers(so don’t blame the store staff all of whom seemed very nice – blame corporate). Very disappointed that Publix selects bottle sizes for their needs not for the needs of their customers.

This was my first time at this location. I rounded the corner to the produce section and noticed that they had a little area with self-serve nuts. I had never seen this at any other Publix so I decided to indulge and went for some walnuts. I pulled the lever to release the walnuts, and none fell into my bag. I gave the canister a little shake, and still nothing. Tilted, knocked, and more violently shook the canister to no avail. I started to lose hope when I turned around to see a somewhat concerned and alarmed employee, who called over to the manager. He kindly removed the entire walnut canister from where it sat and also failed to unstick the walnuts, so he opened the entire container from the top and sprinkled my desired amount into my bag. So helpful and nonjudgmental of my walnut-induced mini fit. 5 stars for helpful and attentive staff– unfortunately I need to remove a star because the cashier at the checkout failed to give me the buy 2 get 1 free soda sale, and I ended up paying for 3 bottles.

Publix is where it’s at. Publix subs are the best. Especially the buffalo chicken. And for breakfast, try to get a premade deviled eggs with green olives. That’s my go to, even if I’ve already had breakfast.

At 71,000 square feet, this is the largest and nicest Publix I have visited, and I have been in several over the years. Not only that, the lighting was great — my eyes didn’t have to adjust to it. The selection was fantastic — more items than typically carried — largely due to the floor space. And the staff — outstanding.
