Great store, great customer service, way better then the big home stores. Save time and go to Ace they will have exactly what you need.

Just got my key redone here. The service was great and they really make you feel like they care about your business. Definitely a welcome change from the big box store.

Asked for a specific plumbing item and was given the wrong thing. Had to return again. Last week, I asked about a product that all the other Ace’s carry, and they said they can’t get it, and I might add, the woman seemed annoyed that she had to talk to me. When asked why, they said they were independently owned. So… since I have to drive out of my way to get the products I want, I’ll buy everything else at the other location as well.

I have to say that I have lived in the Garden Park neighborhood for almost three years and had never ventured into our local Ace Hardware. What I found when I went there for the first time, was a gem! The staff was super friendly staff and helpful and the store was clean, organized and well stocked. I can’t believe it took my so long to discover!

This place just keeps getting better and better. Having a neighborhood hardware store is saving me days, not having to drive miles to pick-up a nut or bolt, or to buy garden supplies, and now they have plants. Picked-up some vegie plants and herbs, the and even the succulents were less than $ 4! The staff is friendly and helpful, and they always remember me when I go in there.

I love Ace Hardware Store, this one is located in a strip mall. Great addition to the neighborhood, since the there are many houses nearby. The staff is friendly, and I’m always able to find what I came for-unlike Big Box home improvement stores. They also provide you with the correct information for you Diy projects.

Best hardware store experience ever! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, and it seemed like every employee wanted to make sure I found exactly what I needed. If the ACE in my neighborhood was this efficient and helpful, I’d probably visit much more often. I guess I’ll just have to move to Garden Grove to get this level of service.

If you like to work on the house, you go to these hardware stores like Home Depot and Lowes. If you like to get in and out of a store, you go to places like 7 – 11. So if you like to get in and out of a hardware store, you come here to Ace Hardware. Ironically, it looks huge from the outside but it’s really not that big. That’s a plus. I’ve been here twice, about 15 days apart. Ironically, the same staffs who helped me on my first order was also there the second time around. Got me thinking they must live here. I took advantage of the Amex #shopsmall Saturday where I got $ 10 off here using Amex. Who would’ve thunk? I never knew they were that small. I also took advantage of their black friday sale where I got an item for 50% off and you can pick it up for free at the store. The other thing is, they print out all the orders and have to look through it, then one of the supervisors go and get your order for you. It’s not the fastest process for a small store, but it was bearable Prices wise, it’s not that much more than the big box retailers. Do look out for their coupons from time to time when they have $ 10 off $ 30, $ 10 off $ 50, or coupons from their facebook page.

I’ve been here 3 times since it’s opening and all 3 times, they consistently earned 5 stars: 1) The moment I walk in, there’s someone there to assist me and quickly take me to the aisle and help me narrow down my choice. 2) They are courteous and friendly and knowledgeable — and each time, it was a different person who assisted me. So I’d say they’ve done a pretty good with selecting the right people and trained them properly. 3) So far, the people I’ve spoken to have been reasonably knowledgeable — I know, because I’ve done my homework before going in to the store, and I’m a stickler for details. I’ve managed to get in and out within 5 to 10 minutes whereas if I were to go to a Home Depot big box store, it would take me at least 30 minutes — 40 minutes which includes the frustration of looking(in vain) for someone to answer my questions and then to have to wait in the cashier’s line. This place is in and out and you’re done and on to your next errand. I love Ace Hardwares in general as they are practical, carry decent quality items. I am soooo thankful, there’s an Ace now in Eastgate. I hope that management keeps up the good service.

Newly opened Ace Hardware in the East Gate plaza near Vons, Rite Aid, and Souplantation. Ace fully gutted the space to create a brand spanking new neighborhood hardware store. It’s very tiny compared to a place like Home Depot but it has pretty much everything you need if you need to get something and feel like getting in and out of the store quick. Prices seemed comparable to the bigger stores. Staff was friendly but not very helpful. They couldn’t really answer any questions which is the total opposite of other Ace locations I’ve been to. I bought some sprinkler parts I’ve been needing for ages, a patio umbrella, and some fertilizer. I’m glad Ace has moved in to the neighborhood!
