Paintball Gateway and Airsoft

Went over there for the first time today to look at the airsoft guns and accessories… the people very nice and helpful… I talked with a younger guy with a beard. He was great!!! Helped me with one of my pistols.

This is a no-​nonsense shop. They either match or beat online prices.
I came in looking fix my gun if they could give me a quote, but ended up spending $ 250+…and somehow I left happy unexpectedly giving them my money.
Sean helped me. I found him to be knowledgeable, honest, and effective. He came in with the mindset of helping me learn everything rather than ramping up sales, letting me know what I’d want and why or why I don’t need it. I came in knowing next to nothing, but after checking stuff online it turns out the stuff I bought are actually some of the best. They have great deals, and the items they sell are catered to the customer’s needs – optimal paintball gear, not just any paintball gear.
Went to the store close by and found this place with better prices and higher quality items. I am now a loyal customer and I liked their social media sites.

Havent been paintballing in at least a decade, and I got a call from a few friends that were coming into town and wanted to go. I found my ancient Angel LED in storage which I havent touched in 12 years, and both Sean and John were super helpful in getting the marker up and running in about a week, just in time to use it for the outing. These guys have been around a long time and really know their stuff, especially when it comes to older WDP products.

Just came in today and the manager was super kind and respectful. He filled both of my tanks free of charge! For all you Airsoft players with polarstar he will soon be stocking p* and valken parts. Can’t wait to be back and fill both of my tanks full again! Also excellent bb selection. Thanks paintball gateway!

DISHONEST! Took my old angel a4 to get checked out, cleaned and tuned. They charged me $ 40 and told me that my board was fried but that they went through the marker. Cleaned and made sure it was good mechanically. I bought a board and installed it. Trigger did not work right. Took it to another store and they showed me the pictures of how filthy it was. Paintball gateways tech. Never did anything to my marker but still felt inclined to charge me $ 40. They lost a loyal group of customers.

I’ve been shopping at both locations for the last 8 years or so. I always find that the employees are helpful and have given me honest opinions on markers. I buy my paint and I’ve had my markers repaired at both stores. I usually deal with Ivan. He recently repaired and completely went through one of my pump markers. The marker smoother and he gives me straight answers.

Had an issue with my Mini and John fixed in about 5 mins. Very knowledgeable and great customer service. Better than that extreme pros paintball down the street… bunch of jackasses

Just drove by to check this place out. The sign says CLOSED on mondays and Unilocal says OPEN. So u might wanna change that ! So ill give 2stars for now, hopefully the store is opne tomorrow TUESDAY

By far the best Paintball shop I’ve been to. The workers are very knowledgeable and respectful. I get my air there and buy some air fittings (I airsoft) and they install the fittings at no charge at all! They have a nice selection of items and have alot of variety. The workers are friendly, know their stuff, and are easy to talk to!

They took the time to make sure we got what we wanted. Buy your paint in bulk and save!

This place is awesome :) my husband and I have been coming here for about a year and all the guys are really nice! Affordable and friendly — can you beat that?! NOPE.

This is easily the best paintball store in orange county. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. They have experience in fixing every kind of gun. John and Ivan (panda) are particularly good guys. Their prices are usually good, and stellar when they have a sale going on.
They have a well stocked store. If they don’t have it in OC, they can usually get it the next day from their LA store… which is where their online sales ship out from. They’re also one of the few stores that stocks pump accessories.
They also host private games for their customers. It is a great way to get out to play and have some fantastic food.

This store is nice and clean with a good selection. At first the staff doesn’t not seem friendly but once you talk to them they are helpful. Except a Filipino looking guy who I think is the owner. He is not helpful and seem to not like dealing with people. Very rude over the phone. I will take my money somewhere else.

Whether you are a seasoned paintball veteran or a noob, these guys will have your undivided attention. They have a passion for what they do and it shows in the customer service they provide. These are industry folks and will provide many options for what you are shopping for and valued opinion.

Walked in and the shop had a wonderful selection. Very clean. John and Panda were extremely helpful with all my questions! If you get off on Haster on the 22 West it’s super easy to get too!

Some of these reviews should seriously be filtered. I’ve relatively new to paintball but I don’t like it if you’re going to sugar coat the sh*t out of something just to get me to buy it. Which unfortunately I got caught off guard doing so plus I needed a new marker (paintball gun – for those who are looking to get into the sport).
Directions getting here (If you’re coming from the 22E). If you take the fairview exit you’re going to have to bust a U-​turn to get into this plaza because once you exit and make a left there’s no turn in from the gas station or into this small plaza. you’ll most likely have to make U at the next light or right into another neighborhood U turn and make a left onto Garden Grove.
I came into this store knowing I’ll be buying a gun but I hadn’t had to much time to do research on the tippmann referb’d guns. Which I admit is my fault. I came in here thinking I’d get an HONEST OPINION on the gun which I did not. I got a freaking salesman opinion (which isn’t a bad thing since its «how» its suppose to work). I also get f***ing vibe that I’m getting viewed differently because I’m a female. Anyways on to my experience.
The store is pretty well organized at this shop. They have paintball samples laid out on their counter in jars and they will also advertise that they have their custom made paintballs (house paint) avaliable. I do like their deal on paint since the group I go with buy copious amounts to play with. Their airsoft collection is relatively limited but still has variety. They do have a nice collection of markers though and like many paintball specialty shops plenty of hoppers and other gear.
Now that I got how their store is out of the way – its time to tell you about my customer experience… I went straight to asking about the Tippmann Griffin marker (it was refurbished) and the worker there took the gun down and showed it to me. I asked him for his honest opinion (and when I ask this question I really do want a freaking honest opinion). He told me this was a decent gun and it was great for beginners. Unfortunately, after doing some research this gun is a P.O.S. I played a match with it and it was WORST than the rental gun at SC Village. It would be great for little kids (12yo and under) but wtf. Don’t give me that reliability BS and how you’re a certified tech if this gun is a P.O.S. If its a P.O.S then tell me that! I would’ve spent extra for the better gun that you have. I’m actually still pretty pissed off about this and the worst part was that since we had to buy two my boyfriend saw a different gun deal that he liked and after the gun was bought the guy didn’t even let us switch to a more expensive gun. I didn’t understand it here but I also did not like that business practice. I found it to be… «sugar coat the gun because we need to get rid of it.» Not happy at all.
If you’re new to paintball… please come with lots of questions. If you find it to be that they’re just selling it to you (like a cars salesman) without giving a real honest result. then just come to test the gun and purchase it online.
Before you also get into the sport make sure you know what you’re buying for. Recreation? Tournament? For fun (once a month).
I’ll give them another chance but next time I won’t be so much of a passive buyer. You want my business and my recommendation for future paintballers give me an honest answer. No, I do not dislike them. I just dislike the fact that its all about getting rid of unwanted inventory and not making the customer satisfied.

Amazing guys and extremely friendly! I was asking to see different things in the display and they just kept giving me info about them. I think I asked around 15 items of the wall just so I can look at it and they didn’t complain one bit! They even suggested other things to try on in the wall!
Knowledgeable staff, ran by players, flexible pricing, and amazing inventory (TONS OF PAINT). You won’t disappoint coming here. Give them a call and they’ll even make sure you have what your looking for in stock within a few days.

Great location, easy to find. Friendly, knowledgeable staff made it a very pleasant visit. They even have a dressing room if you want to make sure things fit! Definitely, one of the nicest paintball stores I have been to in the US, rivals their Gardena location, which is just as awesome!

New one stop shop for all my paintball needs with knowledgeable staff!!! Great place to shop and I’m not taking my guns worked on anywhere else!!!
