The hubby and I stopped in here to look for a cheap bed to use in our back up spare bedroom. We didn’t even bother looking at any of the more expensive beds and we instead went straight to the back of the store to look at the low end stuff. The store isn’t huge but they seemed to be about the average size for a Factory Mattress place. It took a while before we were greeted, but the salesman finally meandered back to see if he could help us. We told him what we were looking for and he immediately pointed out an inexpensive bed and knocked the asking price down by $ 100 as he gave us the«I don’t work on commission» bit. We ended up buying the full set for $ 300 and we were satisfied. The strangest part of the visit was when the salesman explained to us this is his part time job because he was in an accident of some sort and now he’s on lots of drugs and can’t do his regular job. Hmm. We realized he wasn’t joking when we saw the mound of prescription vials stacked on his work desk. This guy was quite a talker. He also did a pretty good John Wayne impression whether it was intentional or not. Overall this place wasn’t bad since there was no haggling and our purchase was quick and painless.
