I went to get my hair cut you had very good reviews and are ½ a block away. I asked about cutting men’s hair when I called i went and had my hair cut I told the stylist i wanted it shorter, cut with scissors no razor and layered. She started with scissors then switched to a razor I thought she was just trimming before i new what what was happening she had used the razor on a lot of my hair and had to finish what she started I told her it was fine don’t cut anymore she decided it would look better even shorter I asked her to stop but she said she already started and had to finish or it would look bad. She then told me i needed some greasy stuff so my newly cut hair wouldn’t be sticking up my hair is now 1 inch long over my head except for the top it will take 3 months or more for my hair to grow back they way i like it the last time it was this short was 50 yrs ago in grade school i had to wash my hair twice to get that crap out and when I looked in the mirror i saw how bad it was the opposite of what I wanted

I am writing this review to let everyone know how wonderful this place is. I have been going to Monica for years and won’t go anywhere else. If I walk in with a problem nail(which is often) I can count on her to work her magic. I always feel so good there, better than going to therapy and I’m not kidding. Everyone there is so friendly and it always feels like home.

Great pedicures, Monica is the only one that knows how to safely remove ingrown toe nails! beautiful job. The salon is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The women are so nice and fun, the pedicures and manicures are always a good experience. I have gotten an up-do there once, it was good too! Color is amazing as well, ask for Sheema!

I’m actually an eye doctor that works next to this salon. Violetta cuts my hair and is as good as it gets. I’m probably one of the only male clients at this salon, but EVERYONE here bends over backwards for me and knows me by name. Just the nicest people work here, and all other clients seem very happy. I’ve sent a few of my friends over just to have nails done, etc, and all have been quite pleased. Keep it up.

I am one who follows my hair dresser wherever she goes! She ended up working here, and I feel so at home at this salon. The owner and ALL the workers are friendly, and customer oriented. They serve you water, coffee or tea. Their is always laughter and all the workers get along with one another. This is a great place for hair, getting manis and pedis and other beauty treatments.

I’m not a primper, but I go for manicures and the PHENOMENAL customer service! Most salons make me feel bad about myself, but here you will leave feeling like a queen! I call in for walk– in appointments all the time, and usually get an appointment that day. I love the no– chip manicure, and I go for pedicures, highlights, and eyebrow waxing too! All the gals do a great job for nails, but I love Sheema’s haircuts. I get tons of compliments. It is great to see businesses giving back. Monica, the owner, has 25 years of salon experience, and is totally self made, having immigrated from Mexico and working her way up in the salon business. Although she is a new business owner(and any new business owner has a tight budget) she has donated a portion of proceeds to Haiti and Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. She is extremely loyal to her clients and proudly displays their jewelry or books they have written. The staff is treated really well, and as a result, the atmosphere is a really happy place. And the products and application are always current from the«graduated bob» haircut I got to the«no– chip» manicure. My manicure lasts almost three weeks! All About You rocks!
