Exceptional fish. We didn’t order chips so I can’t speak for that, but the cod fish is super fresh and not overly breaded. The fish tacos were incredible due to a very good cream sauce added. We ordered two prices of fish and two fish tacos. Both very good. There’s good picnic tables by the bay to sit at enjoy the food and I’d you’re lucky, some sunshine. I’m leaving a good review here to support these guys and hopefully encourage other fish and chip joints to add less breading/grease to their fish and more fish.

I don’t generally go for food trucks but woggys had a great rating. The fish is freshly caught by local fisherman and cooked perfectly. The fries perfectly seasoned. The Cole slaw is crunchy and tasty. I highly recommend them!

You know, I wanted to like this place but have tried it twice and did not. The fish tacos were really uneventful… both on single tortillas rather than doubled and just over shredded, plain cabbage. Second trip over there I really wanted clam strips and they were out and did not know when they were getting any in. I was hungry and didn’t want to spend a lot so went for the beef hotdog with the works. Again, kind of blah… Some more original toppings and higher quality hotdog buns would have helped. I’ll try fish and chips sometime and hope for the best.

Had the best fish and chips yesterday with their unique and delicious fries. Came back again for their fish tacos. They, too, were excellent but I recommend a little hot sauce. Both my wife and I were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Sorry, not so good in my book. Ordered 2 fish tacos since they were out of clam strips. Seriously? Out of clan strips? WTH, this is a harbor town on the coast of Oregon. Clams and other forms of tasty sea food is right out your door. I just don’t get it when I’m told they’re out of clan strips because their supplier is out of the pre-breaded, frozen strips from the east coast. Get a clue and make your own. I’ve done it many times using local razor clams dipped in a «from scratch» batter. So much better than bagged and processed products. Get passionate about it, this is your freakin’ business. And then there were the fish tacos. I knew I was in trouble when I saw the store-bought tortillas hit the open grill. Yikes! They were so dried out by the time I got them they tasted like cardboard. You may wonder how I know what cardboard tastes like. Well, I didn’t until I ate one of these sad tortillas. Now first understand I do know what a fish taco should taste like. I grew up eating them in Baja and they should have a crispy fried tortilla or a soft steamed one. The fish should be succulent with a nice fried batter. There should be a bit of heat coming from either hot sauce or fresh pico de gallo(chopped tomato, onion, coriander leaves, fresh serranos, salt, and key lime juice), and finished with a tasty Mexican crema. My tacos from this food truck were lacking everything but the crema(which was actually pretty good and kept me from dropping another star). My wife tried the fish & chips but she remarked the fish was oily. The fries and coleslaw were great though. So I guess we won’t be going back for any seafood. And for a small town with few eating options I’d suggest working on these things. If you get it together you stand to have a line down the street because of your fare rather than being the only place open. Good luck!

Back in Gold Beach after 2 years. So glad to see that Woggy’s food truck still here. A bit disappointed as they had not got their clams in. So had the fish and chips. Awesome. Loved it. Phillip was so friendly and always has a nice smile. Hope to see you in another 2 years.

Went here because we love food trucks. This place has the nicest owners! The fish is fresh and delicious. The fries are the best we have ever had. I want this place to not be just seasonal. When we moved here we knew the restaurant choices were lacking, so what a hidden gem! GOHERE, EATHERE! Oh Woggy’s when will you be back??? We are craving some good Fish and chips.

It is a cart, obviously run by a family, who are very friendly. Fresh, delicious fish and chips. Fries are addictive, batter-fried. Outdoor tables to eat in good weather, overlooking the Rogue river.

Yummy fish and chips. Do it! It’s a cart with just picnic benches to eat at, but nice spot. Worth eating in the car if it’s raining. I don’t usually finish my chips but ate all the ones i got.

I rarely write reviews but used Unilocal to find this place so thought I’d «give back». Got the fried clam strip & was amazing. Batter was perfect & taste was very fresh. For $ 10 the portion was Generous! When in Gold Beach seek these guys out.

Excellent fish & chips place. We tried the Clam strips, chicken strips and fish Tacos and of course the fries. All were delicious with the Clam strips being my favorite. I guess there’s hype about this place, but it’s well deserved.

we stopped here for lunch on our trip to the redwoods and found a gem. The fish and chips are by far the best we have ever had. Fresh fish!!! The garlic fries were great as well. I just wish we had a Woggy’s back home.

We were in Gold Beach for a fishing vacation. While checking in at Jerry’s Jet Boat, we spotted Wooggy’s Fish and Chips trailer. We decided to have a quick lunch. WOW! The Fish and Chips were the best that I have had. The fish was fresh ! The French Fries were true fresh fried French Fries. The Cole Slaw good and obviously freshly made. We will be visiting again before we leave for home.

We’ve lived in Maine, traveled both coasts and even had fish and chips in London — Woggy’s have their own unique take on F&C, but remain true to the basics. The fish is literally fresh off the boat. Slaw and sauces are made from scratch. The fries are hand cut and battered(I sprinkle vinegar on mine, like they do in Maine — let me just say that the batter made them even better). Their fish was very light, fresh, flaky and flavorful. I could have thoroughly enjoyed the fish with no tartar sauce — it’s that good. But, I would say that Woggy’s tartar sauce is one of the best I’ve had — leans more toward dill than sweet. I saw clams on the menu… Maybe next time.
