As a Finnish-American, I really appreciate stores that cater to the one of the heritages that make Minnesota what it is. I’m also disappointed that Minnesota largely turned it’s back on Finnish-Americans. It seems like Finnstyle, I mean, AlwyasMod continues the tradition. The selection here is quite good. In the rare case they don’t have something in stock, they can special order it. However, why bother driving to the store for them to just order it? There’s the internet, you know. I have been shopping at this store since their original location, then their new downtown location and now the latest location in the suburbs. I don’t like the new name or indecisiveness of this place at all. Service here is quite inconsistent, which is consistent with small business. Sometimes I get great service. Sometimes I get condescending service or have to wait for sometime wasting a sales clerks time taking his sweet time and asking about sales. Unsurprisingly, the cheap ass asking about sales left empty handed and only pissed me off who is willing to pay full price for Finnish design. The sales clerks here really need to get trained on who is a customer and who isn’t. Those who putz around and ask about sales, aren’t customers. Kindly break away and help those who see value in the products they sell. Unfortunately, the high prices here don’t match the level of service one expects at this price point. This place is like buying an Audi, but getting Hyundai service. I have many heirloom Iittala pieces that my grandma left me. Finnish design isn’t cheap, we aren’t the Swedes. If you want cheap disposable Scandinavian design, try IKEA.

I love this store. Tons of Marimekko fabric, mugs, dishes, clothing etc… Also numerous other great finish brands like Iittala, Tonfisk, Moomin. I cannot get enough of the bright, cheerful, so stylish prints and colors on everything. I love to get gifts here and will someday buy a lot of things for my house when my ship comes in.

Man, what would I do if a store sold this much Marimekko in Atlanta? I would spend all my money there, of course! They had a great selection of Marimekko clothing, home goods, fabric, and the purses… They had some brand new purses that were gorgeous! I had my eye on one but didn’t make it back to the store as planned. Thankfully I can order from them online(and I often do!)

love love love this store. Much like bed bath and beyoud and Ikea got a lessen in quality and gave birth to a baby name FinnStyle. This store has many unique intems with dramatic and flashy designs from finland which you wont find in other stores. Some, a little pricy but any savy shoper knows you get what you pay for. To quote Fergie«IFYOUAINTGOTNOMONEYTAKEYOURBROKEASSHOME!» Check out the store, or it’s website. get yourself of a friend or family member a unique gift they

Want to get intoxicated on color and design? If you’re not sure what superbly creative endeavors they’ve been up to in the Nordic country, you should stop by to browse the home and gifty items. They can stretch fabric on frames and it makes for stellar art pieces for the home/office. Also a lot of Marimekko products. And a truly nice lady who works there. Color on color. On color. On color. And for you black and white fans, you won’t be disappointed.

Like Karman, I love this place. I mostly limit myself to my Marimekko addiction when here, but I have never managed to leave the store without purchasing at least $ 50 worth of something!

FREAKINGAWESOMESTORE!!! I found this store when I was wondering to a nail salon at the mall while being on business in Minneapolis on business. And I thought I just stop by to check out what they have from Finland(of course they have tons of Marimekko stuff). I came outta the store after spending $ 130 bucks on(marimekko napkins, kitchen towels, place mats, coffee mugs, fabrics and purse). I dunno why I bought all those stuff, I don’t even hang out the kitchen, why would I need kitchen towels… I don’t even eat at my dining table… why do I need place mats??? O well… these were all onsale… so I feel good about that!!! Great staff… very helpful… too…
