Worst experience ever I will never go back. Quoted 1200.00 on original visit using my diamonds and gold, wasn’t sure what I wanted so Kurt showed me a ring he had already made for someone else I said not sure I have an acquaintance with that exact ring. Kurt offered to make a mold since he already had everything, I had not heard back so by that time I found a picture of the perfect ring went in showed him the picture he said ok and again I said how much since I’m not using your mold. He said 1200.00−1800.00 ok fine I’m good with that. Two more weeks I go by so excited they had made the wrong ring and it was the wrong size. Oh well things happen. Two more weeks I call sorry I’m busy but will have your mold in 2 days. OK so excited right ring wrong size. I said again I need this to fit exactly like my old ring 4 ¾ no problem. You will have your ring before Christmas. Christmas Eve no ring I call, oh it is here. Great sent husband to pick it up because I had surgery. Came home with a 3100.00 invoice, ring is wrong size and all my gold returned. I go to store what happened. Kurt, I just forgot to use your gold, I will size in the summer when I see how much your finger swells and I’m just not sure about the rest. Store had several customers. Let me go check. 30 minutes later well you know about the gold, size, I changed the head the large diamond sits in because I thought your diamond was too nice for the one I quoted (this was an additional 500.00 to me with not even a phone call to see if I would agree to that. Not using my gold was close to 900.00 the rest was just a miss quote on Kurt’s part for building the ring. He said I just made a mistake I said mistake this is a huge mistake. Kurt: This is what I will do I will buy your gold at wholesale and give you a store credit, I said you mean a cash credit, he said if that is the only thing that will make you happy I guess that is what I will have to do. I have bought a 1200.00 bracelet from this store and a 7000.00 pair of earring and that was the best he could do. I will take my gold elsewhere, have my ring sized elsewhere and never return to this store.
After reading my review on Unilocal Troy V. owner of Troy Vinson Jewelers gave me a very needed (from me) and concerned phone call. Told me how sorry he was and made this right. Thank you Troy.

I’m in town for a photojournalism workshop and before I left San Francisco I didn’t have time to have a link added to my watch band which was a little tight. After stopping by a few places in the area that were all closed, Troy Vinson Jewelers was my last hope. They did it in minutes and then didn’t even charge me! They totally made my day! Thank you!

I went in to have an engagement ring resized. The people were very nice and friendly. When I got home and inspected the ring I noticed they had crimped one of the diamond settings in the process. This cost me close to eighty dollars to have resized and they may have ruined the ring in the process. This same work was done on a similar ring in Abilene for less than ten. Not wanting to make the drive back there cost me quite a lot more than I had planned. I would never recommend this place and will not return ever again.
