Gary, the owner/designer at Floral Art, saved my sanity when I came in 3 weeks before my wedding looking to book a florist. He was able to accommodate me in such a short time frame, and listened closely to my ideas, which were honestly all over the place. I showed him a couple of pictures I found on the web, which were different in style, and all I knew was that I wanted something lilac, but not too much of it. He threw some ideas at me on the spot, took down my information, and we called it a day. He spoke a couple of times within those 3 weeks, figuring out the details about my chuppah, centerpieces and the bridal party flowers. Fast-forward to my wedding day. As I was getting ready at my home, I got a delivery with the bridal party’s bouquets, and two of my bouquets(one for holding, one for throwing). My main bouquet was perfectly delicate, simple, but tastefully done, exactly what I wanted in a nice shade of lilac. Bridesmaids’ bouquets and boutonnieres complemented my flowers. Next, the chuppah. The first time I saw it was as I was walking down the aisle with my parents. While everyone else’s eyes were on me, I was looking at the beautiful floral arch in front of me. Again, not gaudy and flashy, but toned down and elegant, with matching columns at the start and middle of the aisle. Since my reception was being held in the same room as the ceremony, the chuppah had to be taken down, which was done by the employees rather quickly as I was changing my dress. Then I saw my centerpieces. If it wasn’t done for my wedding, I would have«borrowed» that idea. The centerpieces were like a «party» version of the aisle flowers, fun and classy. The best part was that they were standing atop of a glass tube that had orchids, water and LED lights inside. Very romantic. So overall, I obviously recommend this place to anyone planning an event. Gary is a great designer, and he really understands what you want and what you need. And the price is very reasonable, especially given how little time I had given him. I actually later found out Gary used to work for someone else, and looked up his portfolio. Compared to what he does, I guess I had the«basic» package, which was so lovely.
