Ok I have officially hopped on the snowball craze. I stopped here while visiting my sister in Houma to see what they had to offer. It’s not just a snowball stand, they also serve other desserts and smoothies and even iced coffee. The heat had me in a tropical beach sort of mood so I ordered a snowball that was a trio of coconut, banana and kiwi. The ice was perfectly shaved with an almost fluffy consistency. The trio of flavors was quite delicious and really hit the spot on the sweltering afternoon. Best of all the syrups were generously poured on all the way down to the very last spoonful of ice at the bottom of the cup. I wish I had paid more attention to all of the different flavors but the selection was extensive and I did notice there were several clear syrup flavors including spearimint and blackberry as well as many sugar free options. If you’re in the Houma area I definitely recommend Yippi Yums if you’re in the mood for a really good snowball.
