I enjoy the Prime Quarter, my fiancé really enjoys grilling the steaks. The salad bar is a typical steak house/supper club salad bar. not over the top but enough fixings to have a good salad. The baked potato bar is decent too. But we really come here for the steak! Only complaint was the last time we went(about a week ago) we did not have a waitress that filled our water glasses in a timely manner. We were often had no water and no soda in our glasses. We finally just found a pitcher of water sitting on an unoccupied table and helped ourselves to it.

What a FUN place! Steak house where you grill your own steak! One flat price for all you can eat salad bar and your choice of a steak — whatever cut you want, filet mignon, rib eye, strip, etc. And the steaks are HUGE!!! It’s no joke. In the center of the restaurant, a community grill. We’re not talking just a small grill… we’re talking a huge grill where everyone can stand around and grill their steaks. Sure, it may get crowded and you have to wait but it’s so much fun. Who doesn’t like grilling?! Oh, and you get a plethora of Texas toast as well that you can throw on the grill too. There’s butter and seasoninings available at the grill. How can anyone not like this place. I read some of the negative reviews and I don’t get it. This place is AWESOME! Came here for my bf’s bday. They even came out and sang to him. It was such a great night. Definitely would recommend this place and come back here over and over again. And by the way, having grown up in Hawaii, and now living in Los Angeles where everything costs an arm and a leg, the prices here are phenomenal!!!

My husband and I came here for Dinner at 6:30pm. The hostess said 45mims wait time. We waited by the bar and after 8pm my husband went to check on the reservation and was told our table was given to somebody else. They never called our name and we over heard somebody slip a $ 50 bill just to get seated first. Very Disappointed! Don’t understand why I decide to come here in the first place, waited over an hour just to cook your own food.

Just went there and the whole experience was great. Our server, Bailey was great and friendly. Anytime you can cook your own steak it’s great. I got the T-Bone, but the ribeyes looked VERY good tonight, but I had to go with the T-Bone. It was very good and the salad was actually pretty good also. Potato was just okay, but I wasn’t going to a steak place to get a great potato, I obviously wanted the steak. Overall, great experience if I’m ever back up here when I’m not at a packer game, I would come back again.

Prime Quarter is The Fast Food of Steakhouses, nothing more. Low quality and overpriced are the words that come to mind first. Nothing comes straight out of the kitchen, everything is sitting out buffet-style. Nothing like walking up to the steak fridge, you can actually stand there and watch the steaks turn brown. Steaks are good… BECAUSE I COOKEDTHE #u(&INGTHINGMYSELF. When you pay the extra $ 2 to have them cook your steak for you, the waitstaff do it out in front with all the customers rather than having an actual chef in the kitchen. If their cafeteria-quality salad bar was better, if the baked potatoes were actually fresh, if a lot of things… I would have more support for their business model. Unfortunately, it’s a profit pit. They don’t have to pay a real chef, their waitresses can burn thru tables since they don’t serve anything but drinks, and it’s sad that the prices are so high when you realize how little you are actually getting compared to a real restaurant. Atmosphere is brown. Brown and sad. Should have seen the look on the waitresses’ face when my table of 4 all asked to have our steaks cooked for us. You’d think someone had just shot a puppy in the face, while she was holding it.

Love grilling my own steak(or fish of the day). They have a good amount of seasonings to add while grilling — butter, seasoned salt, Cajun seasoning, etc. Cuts of meat are really good. Texas toast you can toast yourself are really good too, with seasoning and butter, etc. Baked potato bar is decent(not great, but really, we’re here for meat!!). Will definitely be back — love this place, although I give props to the owners: you’re essentially charging guests to cook their own meal, so why not cook at home instead since you’re essentially paying for everything already…

Given you cook your own steak it’s your fault if it sucks. The salad bar is nothing special. Would be great if they doubled the size and added some more options. The price was very reasonable.

First time there, will be going back again and again. Not only was the steak that I grilled myself awesome, but the staff was great as well. I have been to many steakhouses around the U.S. over the years and for the quality and price this place ranks up there with some of the best. When in Green Bay, do not miss out on this gem!

I have been a very long time repeat customer of the Prime Quarter. I started going there about 15 years ago & I have never been let down. The Cuts of meat are very high quality and taste fantastic grilled on the large indoor charcoal grill., the salad bar & baked potato’s come with all the fixings including thick sliced Texas toast… The atmosphere is lively, the staff is friendly and always take care of you in a timely manner. The cocktails and beverages are brought to you while you stand at the grill. If you go there as much as I do they might even remember your name. I recommend trying the Beef-eater a 40oz top sirloin or the Teriyaki marinaded steak. The Prime Quarter will not disappoint if you leave hungry it’s on you…

Good steak, great value. I enjoyed the experience of cooking around a big grill and my Ribeye turned out great. Some reviews I read said the baked potatoes were warm, great tip — I put the potatoe on the grill while cooking my steak, nice hot baked potatoe. Second tip, don’t order the mushrooms, not very good– I had them take it back. Some reviews said it was dark, I thought the lighting was just right. Cooking the steaks was fun and created a good atmosphere. The beer was cold and the servers brought them to the grill for you. Allison was a very good waitress!

LOVE Prime Quarter! It’s a grill-your-own –or– have them grill it for you steak/fish restaurant. I really like the teriyaki sirloin, teriyaki kabob, and the tuna. Friends of mine love the tenderloin, mahi mahi, and regular sirloin. Never had a bad meal and we’ve been there a lot. For birthdays, you get a little decorated birthday cake. I’m always too nervous to grill my own because I’m afraid it won’t turn out medium rare, but for a few more dollars, they will grill it for you. We always do that. The salad bar is full of toppings and awesome pasta salads. Baked potatoes are unlimited and available on the salad bar. And you can grill as much garlic toast as you want. The atmosphere is like a supper club, but jeans and casual attire is fine.

My husband and I ordered two ribeye one medium and one medium rare with seasoning salt, garlic and salt and pepper. The steaks arrived overlooked and no seasoning. Worst steak meal ever. Also cut into a baked potato and it was all black inside. Would have complained more, but was there on a gift certificate. Will never go back.

For $ 20 you can’t go wrong with Prime Quarter. Usually my husband and I split a huge steak and our bill totals around $ 30, and this includes salad bar, baked potato bar, unlimited garlic bread, and of course a steak that you get to grill yourself. There are also 2 fish selections to choose from. The décor is very 80’s chic, and it is VERY dark and dingy in the restaurant, but it is kind of romantic. I would recommend going a little early on the weekends, maybe around 5 o’clock because the grill gets super crowded at the dinner rush, sometimes standing elbow to elbow. Overall, a fun, yummy, and filling dinner!

Dark, dingy, décor and lots of faux brass railings greet you at the door. Large portions of various steak cuts that you grill yourself over charcoal is the raison d’etre of the restaurant’s existence. The«salad» bar is a huge bowl of iceberg lettuce with the standard accompaniments and the obligatory vats of industrial goo(also known as bottled salad dressing). Lukewarm baked potatoes are also available. Steaks are served optionally with onions, or mushrooms. Of which the latter is a microwaved bowl of bland fungi fresh from the can, that you’d be fearful of feeding to your dog. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the texas toast. It consists of thick cut, spongy, flavorless white bread that you coat with a cheap margarine from giant tubs strategically placed about the grill.

LOVE this place. Staff is always nice and friendly. Service is usually excellent or at least very good. Here’s a basic breakdown… Food– Decent quality fresh(not aged) steaks that are VERY large portions. Each meal comes with all you can eat salad and baked potato bar. They also have two fish selections) Grill your own steak: sirloin, ribeye, t-bone, strip, filet or kebabs(plus teriyaki sirloin or kebab) using a choice of seasonings: garlic powder(hint: this stuff is FINE and will come out of the shaker fast!) Montréal steak seasoning, garlic salt, seasoned salt, cajun seasoning, pepper, and/or lemon pepper. They also have soy sauce, worchester sauce and A-1, if you ask. Everyone can season and cook their steak exactly how they want. If you don’t want to cook(and I highly recommend you do) you can have the grill cooks do it for you for $ 2. They do an excellent job, but you lose a lot of the fun. By the way, those grill cooks will happily answer any questions you have at the grill, just ask! You can also split a steak with someone for about $ 13 and still come out with a large steak and all of the fixings. They also have a kids’ menu with burgers or «small»(smaller, yes, but still a good size) steak for about $ 7 Note: It gets warm near the grills, so don’t dress too warmly unles you can shed a layer or two. Angle-It’s the grill your own part that’s a lot of fun. Stand around the grill with your group and shoot the breeze or watch(in amusement) how others prepare theirs. Some great and amusingly bad grillers out there… Gotten to talk to people from all over while standing around these grills. People are friendly and talk to each other in a way you normally wouldn’t at a regular restaurant. Atmosphere-It’s a very manly/clubby feel with a lot of wood with some brass elements. Billiards themed stained glass above the salad bars, vinyl tablecloths, but they don’t really come off as tacky. You tend not to notice them. somewhat odd are the classic movie posters. They’re fun, but don’t quite fit. Also, I always feel they should be playing jazz in there instead of «light hits» It’s not«fine dining» but it’s a nice blend of upscale and casual. They also have a very nice looking bar area(open, not separate) with a lot of comfortable seating for people waiting on busy nights. *There are tv’s in the bar and one of the seating areas, but none in the main dining area. Seating-They can accomodate large groups(call ahead) and also have intimate little corners where you can have a nice dinner for two. Seating is comfortable. It can get a bit tight when the restaurant is full, but doesn’t usually feel invasive.
