Recently took advantage of their breakfast menu and it was amazing. I got the breakfast quesadilla and hubby got the ‘mile high pile’. The servings were large, the food fresh and the prices great. Service was quick and our waitress attentive. We’ll definitely be having breakfast there again.

We ate lunch here and will not go back. Mediocre food — the calamari is inedible, expensive drinks, slow service.

The only complaint I have is the seating downstairs is a tight but the woman bartenders are eye candy and I have a lot of fun there no if they could get the cops to leave everyone alone when u try to leave town

Nice place. Locally owned and staffed by great people. Specials are limited but of you like something from the main menu the customize pecial orders. The 2 for 1 apps at the bar in the early evening are my fave.

Oh Taylor’s, how I love thee and wish to give you more than five stars! I still fantasize about the fried mozzarella wedges and prime rib I had here months ago. SOGOOD. It’s not cheap, so be prepared to shell out some cash but it’s worth it. Get the mozzarella wedges, folks. And the fried pickles! I don’t even like pickles but I’ll eat these!

Just pray you don’t get mugged on the way to your car. Better yet, just hope your car is still there.

Great food and a comfortable seating. Not great service for cell phones. But the scenery makes up for that.

Oh Taylor’s… I have been upstairs and down and it’s just not the place for me. I try to avoid it if I can. It’s seriously almost nothing but trouble all the time. Last time I was there was maybe a Saturday night, which I expected it to be rowdier. However, the police patrolled in almost every ½ hr and even check the bathrooms. That gives you an idea of what kind of rep Taylor’s has. I think this is the place for the younger crowd. Like… Just turned 21 and don’t know how to act in public. There are better bars, IMO. Ps. I hate their bathrooms… They just are gross. I will admit I have slid in piss on the floor here.

Taylors is one of my favorite places to eat. I live in Boston and often stop here while in western Ma or Vermont. Friendly staff with great specials. They even have farm fresh vegetables and grass fed beef if that is your thing AND fresh seafood. Right off 91 up Main Street. Be sure to check out the downstairs tavern and mixed munch.

Our Sunday morning breakfast spot. Great regular-menu items and a great array of special-menu items. Fast, pleasant service and good food. Bonus in that the coffees are included in the price of breakfast!

Stopped in for lunch while in town for business and was happy. The bartender was excellent and so was the good. I had the crispy chicken salad and there was plenty of chicken and not the frozen pre made kind. I nice touch at the bar at the end of the meal was when brought over a bowl of mini chocolates, yum!

My daughter just graduated from UMass and our family came up for 2 overnights. She picked Taylorstavern and that was fine with me! However, I got the Captains Cut prime rib and I was mortified when a ¼ inch slice of roast beef was served! I did not say a thing as this was my daughters night! Since then, last Friday night, I have e-mailed the tavern and called it multiple times! Not 1 response!!! Stay away from Taylors Tavern, because if you have a problem they don’t care!

Skip the chains and head here… seriously. It’s worth the very short drive from the exit. Plus, it’s not going to be mobbed like those places that are right off the rotary. This is a great spot to eat on the main drag in the downtown area. They have a bar upstairs and a bar and restaurant downstairs. We’ve eaten downstairs when we’ve been here. Service is always friendly. The food has been excellent. Portions are generous. And the prices on food and drinks are reasonable. The food here is good; they have some cool items on the menu. So, head a little bit east when you jump off the highway. This place is a great find.

Living in Greenfield there are a few bars we like and Taylor’s Tavern happens to be at the top of our list. We have had dinner downstairs multiple times and we have never had an issue with the staff or food. Every meal we have had here has been delicious and it was nice to have a free meal in our birthday. Tonight we spent some time upstairs in the bar playing some pool, air hockey, and drinking some brews. The bartender upstairs was great and we had a blast hanging out in the open bar area. In the end we loved the bar area and we will continue to eat at Taylor’s when we are in the mood for some home cooked food.

I’ve been here twice in the past 30 days and I really like it here. I’ve had the Cape Cod Reuben, clam chowder, onion rings and the Caesar salad. The Cape Cod Reuben is a very messy sandwich… messy is good. The fish is lightly coated with breadcrumbs then fried until just done. I prefer fish to be dusted than battered. If you feel the same way you’ll like this. The clam chowder is homemade and you can tell with your first spoonful. The onion ring portions are huge. A small order is plenty for two people… maybe three. They are very good… a little thick for me, but that’s more preference. These have great flavor and are probably cut to order. The Caesar salad disappointed only for the reason that the salad was served with the dressing on the side rather than tossed. I’m sure if you ask them to toss it for you they would as the staff is very accommodating. They have a nice beer selection with some small local brewery choices.

Had dinner at Taylor’s one evening — sat at the bar on the main level. I ordered a cup of the New England Clam Chowder and a plate of the Nachos. The Clam Chowder came out first, I asked for hot sauce and received a bottle of Tabasco sauce. I added that and Black Pepper to the chowder. It was excellent! The Nachos then came out, I also requested Guacamole with it. There was no Guacamole with the Nachos when they were delivered to me. The bartender went to check on this — and returned with some. But, it turned out to be some Avocado with something mixed into it — it was not very good. In fact, it had a rather unpleasant flavor. The side of Salsa was also unpleasant tasting. But the Nachos were really good. After I finished eating, I ventured downstairs to see the other part of the Tavern. I ended up sitting at the bar in the basement and had a cold pint of Doc’s Double Whammy! Double IPA(Lefty’s Brewing Co., Greenfield, MA) — a strong Double IPA(8.2ABV). Very hoppy and citrusy! I love this IPA!

Great, gluten free entrees, delicious locally sourced food in general. I chose this restaurant because of the gluten free options but was pleasantly surprised by the local produce options. I had a delicious stuffed zucchini with roasted beets. The others had a Reuben that they loved. They offer gluten free bread as well. We loved the ambiance of the tavern and will be sure to return on our next trip to Greenfield.

Stopped in on our way to Vermont and we were very happy we did. The décor is cool with the train look and service was both courteous and quick. I had a Roast beef club with French fries. The club was delicious and the fries were surprisingly crispy and delicious. The only negative was metered parking on the street… clearly not the taverns fault

I *love* Taylor’s — it’s my favorite restaurant in Greenfield. When my wife(who’s a local girl) took me down here for the first time, she was quite nervous, because she loved it from high school days and was afraid I might not. She didn’t have to worry. The dining room is awesome — it was created by a local artisan in the fashion of an old-time railroad dining car, all dark wood paneling, brass fittings and curtains. I love it to pieces. The food? Portions are nice, the prices are right, the food is hot and well prepared, the service is attentive(but not cloyingly so) and the atmosphere is perfect. When my wife and I Go Out To Dinner, this is where we go. Long live Taylor’s!
