My husband and I tried this place for breakfast several weeks ago and were delighted! A vast breakfast menu, quick service and friendly patrons. Our food was cooked to perfection and the prices were more than fair. We were looking for a new breakfast place after our former favorite place in Brattleboro went down the toilet. This is an equal distance for us and we will be frequenting it for Sunday breakfasts.

This is a regular American Restarant. Nothing fancy, just adequate well priced food in a plain place. I would have no problem frequenting this establishment.

Went with the ex-wife and sat at the counter because the place was packed and the only free tables still haven’t been cleared. I’m 6’2″ so my knees hit the counter. We sat in front of the kitchen door and all the time we were there the busboy would be bringing in dirty plates and stacking up the clean ones. There was a couple of flies flying around us the whole time. And food will sit in the window for more than five minutes. The food is acceptable just, the cleanliness and atmosphere are on the poor side.

Nice place to have breakfast. Food is good but can be inconsistent. Some of the waitstaff caters more to the regulars which can be annoying when you wait a half hour to order your drinks. Otherwise it’s a nice little place to have a filling breakfast.

Not many options in Greenfield and Denny’s Pantry makes it an easy choice over Brad’s Place and Goodies for a good diner styled breakfast. The wait staff is courteous and efficient. The food was served quickly but most importantly, done right. I asked for eggs over-easy and I got them over-easy. For a good diner breakfast and a cup of joe, Denny’s Pantry is where you should go.

Decided to try this place because of the great reviews but sadly nothing about the experience was good. First, the menu itself is small with tiny tiny white lettering on light yellow laminated paper. Between the glare from the lamination and the low lights, there was no way to even read the menu. But, I figure that’s no way to judge a place, just not a good way to start off. So we managed to order and the food took over 25 minuets to get. Of course, that’s ok as long as the food is good no? The waitress didn’t approach us with fresh coffee or to let us know how much longer things would take or anything. So the food arrives, my raisin bread french toast was hot and served on a hot plate. The bread itself was nothing special, not thick sliced but it was ok, and was served hot which is good. My Fiances entire plate of food was served cold and on a cold plate. This tells me that his eggs were made first. probably put on a cold plate and not put under a heat lamp. They were left sitting without any heat until my food was finished. I’ve spent 20 years in the restaurant business, I know there is a better way then this to do business. So, needless to say we won’t be back.

This is my ‘go to’ place for breakfast and lunch. Or, breakfast AT lunch. The breakfast menu is extensive. Everything I’ve tried is good! I’ve only had an actual lunch item once and it was just fine but I find the breakfast items more interesting. This is a good, old-fashioned café with a warm and friendly atmosphere. It’s a great change from cookie cutter fast food!

I work the overnight shift so I eat here at least once a week at the end of my shift. The breakfast food is among the best in town. The staff is very friendly and is there went you need your coffee topped off.

This weekend we stopped in at Denny’s for some breakfast and I have to say that we had a pretty terrible experience. When we walked in the waitress told us to sit anywhere there was space, but there wasn’t a single clean table. It took over 5 minutes for them to bus a table even though they had been empty for a while. When it came time to order our meals, our waitress was sarcastic and inattentive. At one point my brother-in-law order pancakes and she asked him if he wanted real or regular syrup. When he asked what the difference was she said«If I need to explain it then you are getting the regular syrup.» On top of that we waited what seemed like an eternity for our food and a few tables that came in behind us got their food first. The final thing that I witnessed which showed me how terrible the service was actually came from another table at the restaurant. At one point a couple had been waiting on a refill of their coffee and had bee sitting there for at least 15 minutes. After waiting that long, one of the customers got out of her seat, went to where the coffee pots were and poured their coffees at their table. The staff eventually saw this unfold and never did or said anything about it. In the end we enjoyed the food but the service was terrible. From the time we ordered to when we got our food, it had to have been at least 50 minutes. The last time we can the service was lacking as well, but not as bad as this experience. The reason I am keeping my rating at 2 stars is because again the food was decent enough to give them an additional star.

I found Denny’s Pantry via the Unilocal app for iPhone. I had breakfast here two mornings in a row. Both mornings I ordered an omelette with spinach, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and cheese, plus a side of bacon and coffee. Both times the omelets were solid. They needed a bit of seasoning, so I added salt, black pepper, and hot sauce(Tabasco). I would have preferred a more interesting and flavorful hot sauce, but that is all they offered. The food came out in a decent amount of time. The servers were very nice and friendly. They knew a lot of the customers coming in — based on their banter. The first day, as I was getting ready to leave, I asked my waitress where I could go for some espresso. She directed me to Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters, to which I made a beeline. The next morning when I came in again, she asked me if I had found my espresso! I laughed and told her she had a good memory! I would definitely come back here again for breakfast!

First — this place is an old school, country restaurant type place that I grew up going to with my parents and grandparents in Pennsylvania. So, I may be a bit biased. All the food I’ve had there has been good. One day the special was a chicken fried steak sandwich with peppers and onions — sweet Jesus it was good. Only complaint was when I ordered a cheese steak, and being from PA, I’m a bit of a cheese steak snob. But still, it was pretty good. The staff are nice, and they talk to my young daughter, which makes her happy. My only complaint(and it’s pretty minor) is that just about every time I go there, I ask for something other than fries to come with my kid’s meal(which is stated as a possibility on the menu, so it’s not a special order thing or anything like that). It’s almost always screwed up, BUT they always fix it immediately without any issue. You can just tell the kitchen is so busy that it’s on autopilot sometimes. No big deal. I always have a great meal with great atmosphere too. Love this place.

I’m reviewing this again because I’ve been going here more regularly. This place is great! Good food, and great waitresses with senses of humor. They have huge portions and delicious omelets.

I did eat here once and the food was the same old same old breakfast food. What gets it the 2 stars in the rudeness of the waitresses. My husband and I went in again, and one waitress in particular was unbelievably rude. Having been a waitress myself, I was just astonished! We left! Won’t give this place a second chance.

So there I am, an hour to my bus, and at Cherry Rum Plaza. And I’m hungry, and been wanting to check Denny’s out … (Caveat: this is at 1PM. Not the morning breakfast rush!) The restaurant is large, spacious and clean. I was served immediately, my burger and fries showed up immediately, everything was well prepared and good. While I live on the other side of town and am a partisan of Brad’s Diner, I was quite favorably impressed. I’ll be back.

I love a good diner. Shady Glen in Turners and The Whately Diner always hit the spot but Denny’s is just so-so. Most of the food tastes like generic frozen Sysco products. There is also a smell in the ladies restroom that tells me it hasn’t been cleaned in a few hundred years. The servers are super nice though and the food comes out quickly. It’s a mixed bag.

good food overall, i got eggs, cooked perfect with pancakes, my other half got the french dip sandwich which was very good, the fries were really BAD. They tasted like they had been fried twice and when we asked the waitress about them she said no that they hadnt been fried twice. Sooooooo… I would have thought that she might say would you like another order of fries to go with your 9 dollar sandwich but no. We noticed another table getting great looking fries after ours were delivered. Thought that was kind of crappy, but overall our meal was good.

We have given Dennys many chances and they just can’t seem to get it right. We have triend breakfast on many occasions and they have never gotten it right. They always seem to mix something up or bring the wrong food totally. And the staff could be more attentive, they seem to be more interested in talking among themselves then serving the customers. We will go else where from now on.

So, there I was… hungry for breakfast on a weekday at 11am. I refused to have a Mc-anything anyway, and I just left a small breakfast/lunch place 6 miles back, that only accepted cash.(Really? No credit or debit cards in 2012?). I was figuring I would be ‘stuck’ with lunch. Until I spotted Denny’s as I pulled in I was delighted to see a sign stating Breakfast ‘all-day’! We went in and noticed, immediately, the varied clientelle. This is usually a good sign; If it’s full of locals and regulars, it says alot about the quality. We seated ourselves at table that was just cleaned and cleaned well(no sticky spots or crud on the table edges and it wasn’t just wiped onto the seats as those were just cleaned too). The service was immediate with menus and a drink order. My wife wanted lunch, but I was doing breakfast. She ordered the homemade mac n cheese with a side of chicken fingers. She makes the best mac n cheese herself, so when she ordered it, I was a little surprised. She said it was nearly perfect(Not as good as hers, but close) It was a real cheese sauce, not a canned or powdered crap, and it had crackers on the top. THAT’S comfort. The chicken fingers were more of a meal, than a side. Probably close to a pound of juicy, white breast strips with a crunchy, lightly seasoned coating. These were NOT frozen, boxed, or processed. With what tasted like a home-made honey mustard dip, they were awesome(I «had» to help her finish them). I ordered eggs over with corned beef hash. It came with an english muffin and I was moderately impressed when the server asked if I wanted that toasted or grilled. Usually if I ask for a grilled english muffin, I get an eye roll from the server and an english muffin puck that looks like it was grilled under a brick. Not here though. My eggs were perfectly done as well as the hash was perfectly grilled. NOT out of a steam table a dropped on the plate. The hash was grilled crispy, and the eggs were ON the hash where they belong. The fries were red bliss potatoes, nicely seasoned and grilled. They were not reddish, paprika and salt seasoned mush, or burnt lumps of tastless starch. They were actually complimenting the breakfast, not just bulking the plate. The side of bacon was crisp and a thicker cut. These guys did a nice job. The place was pretty clean too. If you’re in the area and are looking for lunch, breakfast or both, support local, non-franchised businesses… like Denny’s PANTRY.

When I talk about Denny’s, this is the place I’m talkin’ about. I can’t say too much about it here except that they have one of the best French Dip sandwiches I have ever had. Also, the map here shows an incorrect location, it should be located on the corner of Route 5⁄10 and Wildwood Ave.
