Massage Envy – Denver Tech Center

I had a great massage today with Kristen! I was originally scheduled with someone at 11:00 a.m. however when I got there I found out that she was ill. They tried to call me however they seemed to have a number and email from years and years ago. Not sure why but it was kind of comical :-) The two ladies up front were great and I had fun chatting with them. They offered me a 2 o’clock with Kristen and she was very good! Thanks so much… you’ve got a great team there!

Wow, I had such a great experience at this Massage Envy and wish I could make it my main location. Sadly I can’t since I’m from Kentucky.
From getting an appointment quickly to the checkin and most importantly, the massage, everything was swift and enjoyable.
I highly recommend Collin — seriously the best massage I ever had! Such attention to detail and the pressure was fantastic. Book him today and ENJOY!

To me this was a very unprofessional experience. The massage therapist, Eugene, kept calling me a different name after repeatedly correcting him. Then he told me that he didn’t read the form I filled out before the massage, so I had to tell him areas in which I didn’t feel comfortable getting touched which was very uncomfortable to talk about face to face. He asked if I was comfortable being touched on my pectoral muscles and before I could answer he touched me there and said «it’s this area right here». Then the drape kept falling off of my body because he kept brushing against it repeatedly, exposing my breasts. This was done multiple times! And then after the fact, he said he should have done something else to fix it. I’m never coming back here again. I felt ridiculously uncomfortable. I try to always be understanding but this was just too much.
Was called by the manager Amanda and she said she has taken the «appropriate actions» which she said she could not go into detail about. Then asked if I could take down this review. Not a chance. I’ve filed a sexual assault report with the police as well. They better not let this happen to anyone else.

Massage Envy has good people working for an idiot corporate management.
Try to move your membership to a club near you after relocating and it will treat you like a felon. I will end my membership, thanks to its corporate offensiveness.
I have let it charge my credit card for dues over 4 years, but I have to bring proof of
residency to get my account moved to the location I now use. It won’t even accept a check with my name and address. «Corporate policy.»
It’s just as much fun as the TSA and «so relaxing.» I will end my membership.

Whatever you do, absolutely do not sign up for the ridiculous monthly plan by giving your credit card. They will automatically renew, they lied to my wife and said 1 year minimum plan, when that is not true. I have several hours accumulated, since I struggle to get the time to stop by and will not give me what I have pre-​paid for since I do not want to renew. Ah freakin Scam, just don’t do it!

Absolutely worst business practice I have seen from a company. I moved to an area with no massage envys nearby, they would not let me cancel so I froze my account, when it was unfroze I told them I wanted to cancel. They charged me a large lump sum unknown to me after 4 months of not receiving payments, after I asked to cancel. They would not refund although I tried to cancel and I received no services. I felt tricked and would never recommend anyone to get a membership with massage envy.

Initially I was uneasy about the big box chain massage office but no more!
I have been going to this location for over a year now. Jackie T is amazing! I had a bit of a pushy experience when I first started coming here, but since then they have been fantastic. The office is clean and calming and the staff is friendly. I would, and have, recommended it to friends.

We are ME members in Nashville and have travelled to Denver several times in the last few months. We visited this ME location twice and had great experiences both times. The staff was friendly and the massage therapists ensured that both I and my husband were able to relax.

FYI: I’m a 30 yr massage lover, I’ve been a M.E. member for years and had massages at 8 or maybe 10 M.E. locations throughout the US and in the interest of full disclosure, I now have a niece who’s a therapist at ME in AZ… Regarding DTC M.E. I too am surprised at the negative reviews. The reason ME promotes the gratuity is because that’s what the therapists depend upon for their living as part of the service model. It promotes good service, building clientele and earning your repeat business. (and a healthy lifestyle component for the client.) Seriously, you’re only paying $ 49 member/​$ 79 non-​member plus $ 12 for DT, or whatever it is now, for an hour of professional massage, Duh-​UH! The recommended gratuity is on the low side depending on the service you receive. Their rates are more than fair. And yes the best therapists are usually booked far in advance but that’s true at any ME location or any independent therapist. Inna’s deep tissue is DEEP so if you’re a DT junkie she’s your pro. As I said, I’m a 30yr DT massage addict and a good sized man, and Inna has without a doubt the strongest hands I’ve ever encountered. Jessica’s awesome too. She has what I call a «Swedish Light Deep Tissue» that I find excellent. These are the only two therapists I’ve seen.

Don’t waste your time or money. The prices are WAY over priced. The place feels like a sterile doctors office. The massage therapist was friendly but lacked in experience and technique. The push for tips is ridiculous! Spend your time and money at a regular spa.

This establishment has very poor client management. I booked my appt. over the phone for my mother and I. We were to have a sugar foot scrub and a cranial massage. I was to have a female masseuse and my mother a male one. When we get there I am told I cant have the sugar scrub because my therapist is pregnant. I’m not sure why I was not informed sooner then upon arrival. So I asked if I could switch with my mothers therapist. Only to be told her therapist is also pregnant and they are the only therapist available. I dont understand why they would have 2 pregnant therapist working at the same time if they cant preform all options of the business. The only thing that partially saved this experience was my therapist Jenna who did a phenomenal job. But because of this experience I will NEVER go back to this location

My only complaint is Massage Envy has glowing signs everywhere telling you how much is an acceptable tip for 1 hour, 1 ½ hour, 2 hours. And, the suggested tip is RIDICULOUS! It says $ 12-​$ 22 for a 1 hour massage that cost me $ 39. Are you kidding me? That’s a range of 31−56%! Give me a break… The standard tip range for any resort or spa massage is 15−20% — not 56%! And then they make your tip public by verbally asking you how much to put on your card in front of other customers… trying to guilt you into a bigger tip. I refuse. I gave an $ 8 tip which is 20%.

Never again!

This was my first full body massage in quite a few years. I tried this location because I was on vacation. I was a little leery of a franchised massage therapy spa. I was pleasantly surprised. Sharena was my therapist and she was extremely professional and effective. Even though I had tons of tight areas she did what she could in the one hour appointment.
The introductory rate is an excellent value. I wish I had known I could sign up for 1 ½ or 2 hours.
I understand that there are memberships available, however, there was no hard sale for this and for that I am thankful.
Looking forward to trying a massage at Massage Envy when I return home.

I go every month for a massage and have had the best experiences. Everyone is so friendly and professional and the massages are awesome. I think overall experience is largely dependent on the massage therapist, and I happened to find someone I really like at this location.
