We were having photos taken for my parents 50th Anniversary & my mom needed her hair styled. So I looked on Unilocal & found this place & they really did a great job! Now their address was incorrect so it took extra long to get there, but def worth figuring it out! You never know when you’re picking an unknown stylist to do your hair for pictures, but so glad we found a place that knew what they were doing for my mom :)

The place is ok, maybe a bit more expensive than a simple half balding man’s haircut should be. Especially if you factor in the ATM fee after you find out they don’t take cards, No mention of that anywhere.

Does your kid need a haircut while you’re in Gulf Shores? If so, Kat’s is a great place.
This is not a shop that caters to tourists by any means. It isn’t a big chain and they aren’t easy to find. The shop is located in the corner of a strip mall next to Bruno’s supermarket.
The shop is small. It looked like there were only three chairs and an equal number of large space suit hair dryer things. They do take appointments, but also handle walk ins.
Even though we weren’t locals, the staff were friendly and fit us in without an appointment. The two stylists were good with kids, and made sure they did the cut properly without cutting off any ears, etc.
If you’re in the area and need a haircut, try Kat’s.
