These people can never get my order right, my panini was SUPER greasy, and plates smelled like dirty grease and were greasy on the outside. Complete mess in to-go order. Only reason they get 2 stars is because they’re open late.

Where do I begin? The only good experience I had in this establishment was the bus/water boy. To begin my review of this place let me just say I ordered a chicken wrap with waffle fries. The«wrap» the tomatoes where saggy like they’ve been out for 3 days. The chicken was tasteless… If it’s not in the dictionary we should add it. Just boring no taste and not worth a penny the establishment it self was old and outdated and the server was too busy flirting or trying to sell products to some old ladies… I will not recommend this place to anyone I can make a better chicken wrap at home with a microwave and leftovers.

After a late night out, my friend and I were driving around looking for a diner that was open 24⁄7. Somehow, we stumbled upon this place. At first, it looked like a good place because even at 3:30am it was pretty busy. Once inside, we were seated right away. Inside in general is pretty big. Have both booths and tables. The menu was big but not as big compared to other diners in the area. Idk I actually liked it because it made finding something to eat much easier. To eat, of course I ordered a French Onion Soup(shocker). I also did something very risky. I felt bold. I went for it – the chicken shrimp quesadilla. My friend was not as daring at I was and he ordered a Gyro. My French onion came out first. It didn’t look too appealing. The cheese on it was good but there was definitely not enough on there. Literally, it was a thin layer. In my eyes, it was just wrong. Also it was overly watery and salty. And then came our actual food. The chicken inside my quesadilla was good but there was pretty much 2SMALL pieces in each portion… And the shrimp was just super cheap with no flavor – and there was a ton of it. Practically a shrimp quesadilla. Another sad part, it lacked cheese. Was there a cheese shortage tonight or something because writing this review made me realize that both of my cheese meals had no cheese! Super weird. The guacamole was also horrible but the salsa and sour cream was decent. In general though, no Bueno, no Bueno at all. If you go there, please do not be an idiot like me and order this, just don’t do it. You have been warned. That’s the last time I take a risk like that at a diner. On the up side, my meal did come with some very delicious French Fries and I enjoyed every single bite of those scrumptious things. My friend said his gyro was alright. Bathrooms were also pretty darn dirty. But the service was good and hey, at the end of the day it’s a place to go that’s open 24⁄7. Because of the fries and this is why I even opted to give this place at least two stars. «Meh, I’ve experienced(much) better» is absolutely accurate. Just a note– they have happy face cookies. I didn’t get one but just thought you all would like to know.

Horrible waiter, bad attitude and unwelcoming. We asked multiple people to get our waiter, and he came after 25 minutes. It doesn’t seem like we’re the only ones that have had bad service here. Not recommended.

Worst place ever. Server came over after 2 minutes of giving us the menu, told him I need a minute to look through it and comes back 20 minutes later. Food came and was disgusting, complained to the manager and he said make sure you order the right food this time. Would never recommend anyone to eat here!

Fast and efficient servers, not much talking or communicating but my food came quickly and was great. I would ask for a little more effort by the waiters to make the experience more pleasurable for the customers. Other than that, I enjoyed the music and TVs around me, nice salad bar as well.

Been coming here for probably the last 20 years. Recently went there for breakfast for the first time, and I will say, it’s the last time. The home fries were just awful, and the omelet was rather tasteless. Years ago, I fell in love with their Chicken Bruschetta. While still on the menu, and still my number one dinner to order, it has become hit or miss in the taste department. Lately, sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s horrible, which I attribute to different cooks, BUT, there really should be some kind of training, so that it’s consistent. Last night was Tuesday 12÷22÷15, so if the cook is reading this, FIXIT, it was probably one of the worst preparations yet. Mix the tomatoes, onions and mozzarella pieces with the pasta, don’t just lump it all on top. The mozz should be in small pieces, not melted into one giant glob. Tasted a bit oily. Also, dh ordered his usual, and had gotten fries with it, which he normally does, but last night, the fries were awesome! They were nice and crunchy, but seriously, the best fry we had ever tasted. The texture was definitely different, but in a good way. Hope it stays that way. The salad bar is consistently good; honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing, well except adding some iceberg lettuce. The romaine is in such large pieces, it needs to be cut down a bit. The plates are kind of on the small side, and even though I don’t get much, after cutting up the lettuce there is plenty of items that shoot off the plate(peas, lima beans, chick peas). I don’t know how the people that pile it on manage to cut it all up. I don’t understand why this place isn’t more crowded. Most of the servers are good, some could be better, but all in all, nothing negative. The food is decent(much more than less, occasional not that great) and you get a lot for your money. I prefer it over the many chains that are close to it(Applebees, Fridays, Cheesecake Factory, to name a few).

I thought it was an ok diner. It sits on route 4. It was a very large diner with a lot of parking space. Inside was so large that I thought this place will never be filled. We ordered coffee and pink lemonade, which seems like a total store-bought. My wife ordered turkey sandwich and I ordered greek omellet with sausage added to it. My wife thought the sandwich was not salty enough(which we acutally prefer but a lot of other customers wouldn’t), and my greek omellet had very little feta cheese, which should have been the main ingredient of greek anything. We liked the ambience of this place. It gives you a feeling of this country a long time ago. Service was adequate at least for us. Not a bad place to sit down for a slow saturday brunch even though the expectation for the food should be somewhat low.

Wow, people have really bad experiences it you know what, you can’t go wrk g with the salad bar. I’m reviewing the salad bar because it’s just so good. I don’t order anything else on the menu because I tried a few things n hated it but based on the salad bar only and the customer service tonight, they get 5 stars

Coach House is probably older than me. The food is still just as good, especially late at night. One of the very few diners open late.

Delish breakfast especially the chocolate chip pancakes. Aweful coffee CHeap cappuccinos Horrible lunch! –had salad bar along with buffalo chicken wrap-salad bar included old looking veggies– nothing was fresh. The buffalo chicken was just aweful!!! The chicken pieces did not taste nor seem like real chicken. It included pasty like cheese, wrap was super dry and again… Not tasty at all! Fries were just OK. Again… DELISH pancakes Aweful lunch!!!

Waitress gets 1 star. Rest of the place ZERO stars. Food was less than poor. Chicken sandwich was lacking chicken. Cheese is sparingly used and the did not bring onion rings that were listed as an included side. When asked they brought 4 tiny rings. Everything was greasy and tasted horrible. Water was okay. The End.

The menu is extensive, like most diners. The food is meh. The service is decent. The prices are meh for what you get. I have never been a huge fan of diners and this reminds me why. I have tried different menu items from waffles to eggs to the soups and just felt like, «I guess this will do.» You can find better food elsewhere for the same price.

A lot of reviews I read mention that a particular employee at a restaurant was rude. I always found this hard to believe. After all, if you are in the hospitality business, rude should never be part of your repertoire. I often think that people who write about them may just be hyper sensitive to rudeness in a self-fulfilling prophecy sort of way. Go somewhere busy, expect rudeness and voila, there it is! I also challenge anyone reading this to find another review where I mention a rude employee. That is up until now. The service at the Coach House Diner sucks ass. I went there with my sister, her kids, brother in law and my elderly parents. We were seated in a relatively empty room all the way in the back of the restaurant where we proceeded to order. Almost immediately after our waiter left, they seated a large party of junior high school girls all around us. How large, you ask, about 40. I can’t really fault junior high school girls for acting like junior high school girls. I expected them to scream, run around, laugh loudly and to act like idiots. And they did. Worth mentioning is that they had a reservation so management knew quite well where they were seating us and when their party would arrive. They made sure to take our order quickly before the commotion began so we wouldn’t get up and leave which, of course, we would have. What I did not expect was management’s reaction and their refusal to assist us. We asked to be moved and they declined but generously offered to take $ 10 off our bill. Insulting, yes but it wasn’t about the money. It was about our meal being completely ruined. Even if it was free, it would not have been worth subjecting ourselves and especially my parents to such a lousy experience. I will go one step further… Say Bobby Flay himself was cooking our meals rather than some poorly paid line cook. Say he was at the top of his game and presented his absolute best meal ever, and was kind enough not to charge us. It still wouldn’t have been worth it. The experience was that miserable. So yes, my friends, the Coach House sucks and I would tell anyone in the area to take a short drive to the 4 West Diner. Much, much better experience.

This place is freaking great! The décor is cute and cozy, the ambiance is nice and the food is good as well. Where they win the most? Breakfast all day, unlimited salad bar option or meal plus salad bar! I was looking for that. They have a great early dinner special where for 15 $ you get a drink, rolls, a large dinner plate, soup, salad bar AND a dessert. How cool is that? It’s like a Sizzler meets IHOP but much cuter and greater quality.

Okay so my boyfriend is a vegetarian /vegan so coming here is great because they have the salad bar which is usually pretty well kept. It’s 9.95 and unlimited so it keeps him happy while I eat my eggs and bacon :) The food is always pretty good, especially the omelette and the French onion soup. Overall the service is spot on, and there is ample parking. Sometimes it can get a little loud inside but nothing too crazy, it’s not like a night club or anything. Will definitely be back soon!

I was a regular, from 2009 – 2011 coming at least once or twice a month. I stopped coming sometime late 2011 when the food was inconsistent and the service went to shit. We came in last night ordered our food and when we got the food we had NO cutlery(sure no biggie). I start eating the French toast platter, the sausage was so undercooked thought it was the tapeworm special. French toast extremely pasty, and mooshy. Had no texture whatsoever and flavorless. How do you mess up French toast!?. Halfway my plate notice I was dying of thirst. Oh wait I know why none of us had our waters. Matter a fact he didn’t ask us for anything to drink. Strong waiter… Also my friends burger was ordered medium well and it came out medium well burnt Ughhhh coach house that was my last and final attempt. Establishment 4⁄5 Service 1⁄5 Food 2⁄5 Cleanliness 3⁄5 Price 3⁄5(5being cheap1 being very pricey) Overall 2⁄5 because of my past experiences it had a great service and food I gave 2 starts. But last night was a 1.
