I’ve passed by this place a lot of times and it always stood out to me because of the word«tortas» lol I’m a little Asian girl CRAZY for tortas! Anyways, so my cousin and I decided to try this place out. It was on a Sunday and it was a little busy and of course, I ordered a torta(al pastor) and posole. To make it nice and simple: both of my dishes were REALLY salty! I tried to finish it all but I couldn’t so I gave the left over to my brother lol. I don’t think I’d be coming back here, unfortunately.

Birria was great tacos are decente, their salsa sucked. The horchata was completely watered down.

Enjoyed the eatery! Newly opened along the Haltom City area. The owners are from California with roots from Guadalajara, Mexico. Authentic Mexica food! I’ve lived in California for 8 years. And I LOVE street tacos from Los Angeles, California. The owners are from Southern California and understand the difference from Cali Tacos vs Tex-Mex Tacos. In my opinion…, «ten fingers high» for California’s street tacos(if you’ve lived in California, y’all understand). I ordered beef tacos off a non-taco special day. They were BIG! I also ordered pork Tortas that were recommended by the owners. Delicious As I stated earlier, newly opened with excellent potential for growth! My recommendations, SIMPLE… listen to what owner recommends Give it a try to get away from the average Tex-Mex you’re accustom to.

Not bad but not great either I had 2 soft tacos 1 asada 1 carnitas the first was very tasty nicely seasoned small portion but good the carnitas, real greasy it soaked my tortilla, overkill on the cilantro. I did, based on another Unilocal review try the French fries as well, why not, definitely home fries meaning that same quality that I would make at home, definitely fresh peeled potatoes but these were undercooked could use two to three more minutes in the fryer and no seasoning at all. This spot is just a tiny bit out my way, but I can’t say I would go out my way to return

I found this place on Unilocal yesterday and really wanted to give them a try. The customer service is five star. I love street tacos and they are delicious. I got the asada tacos with grilled onions. I like that they kept the grilled onions and cilantro separate for me to add to my tacos. They have $ 1.00 tacos and $ 1.75 tacos. I got the $ 1.75 tacos. The green sauce was very good but I’m a wimp when it comes to heat. I also tried their asada quesadilla and it was good. The meat is seasoned well and they give you a ton of meat in both the tacos and quesadilla. Last but not least I had a taste for French fries. I know that’s crazy. The fries are good but I only ate about five. I wanted to save room for everything else. They have other items on the menu like gorditas, sope, tostado, tortas, caldos and for drink horchata, Jamaica and Mexican sodas. Prices are very reasonable, excellent customer service and the food is great! I will be back again to try other items or to get my street taco fix.

Cash only. Pretty good hole in the wall. Me and husband ate the popular plate which is the torta ahgoda. I got asada and hubby pork. Bread is from Mexico pretty messy dish but very delicious. I would soak my bread in the sauce that it comes in. Be sure to squeeze the Limes all over. Also be sure to add some of the extra spicy sauce it comes with on the side! They have fresh aguas! It’s in a pretty good location. Staff is very friendly.
