Dairy Queen

Every time I’ve been here they have had problems. They gave me a microwaved cheese sandwich which was supposed to be grilled. The people always have problems understanding what we are saying through the intercom. They aren’t very friendly. They don’t understand between a dish of ice cream verses a cone.

Bring a book if you go through drive thru.
We literally waited half an hour. Guy behind me cut over the curb to get out of line. It was miserable.

My husband and I stopped at this Dairy Queen to have a hamburger! We decided to eat there instead of taking our orders home! The place was so unkept and filthy inside, I won’t ever step foot in that establishment again! The booths were full of rips and crumbs, looking as if they hadn’t been wiped down for weeks! The floor was also dirty with dropped food, crumbs and plain dirt! Even the smell of the place was dirty! Oh my word doesn’t anyone ever check on these places to see how they are doing on their cleanliness! The food wasn’t anything to remark about except the fries were bitter tasting, telling me their oil needed to be change! Thank gosh we didn’t get sick from eating there! Yuck!

Worst service ever. After having an order messed up they would not fix it. After reordering and repaying it took 25 minutes for 1 blizzard. The red head manager was so rude. 2 other employees apologized to me for her behavior behind her back. Do not go to this dq. After reading other reviews they have had many bad experiences I wish I could give 0 stars.

I ordered a ice cream cake to pick up at 4pm the next day and it wasn’t ready when my daughter went to pick it up. The store sent my daughter away and said they forgot to make it, so she needed to come back at 6pm. Our party started at 6pm… so obviously that was a problem. Then they called me. said they gave my cake to someone else! Really??? or did you not make it! Offered me a completed cake they could write on, not in the colors I needed and 2 inches smaller. I took it since I had no choice. never got an apology, discount or anything. I will never order a cake here again.

Went to this dairy queen to get the new Royal blizzards that are being advertised and was told they didn’t have them. I would have left but was stuck in the drive thru, so ordered my husband a bacon cheeseburger and when I got home, it was a double cheeseburger and no bacon. Happy mothers day! Not!

I wish I had looked here before going to this Dairy Queen. I have never been to such a disorganized fast food place. We placed an order to go, we where given our frozen food before our hot food was cooked. It was half melted before we got our meal. My husband ordered his burger with no onions and it looks like they put extra on. Our fries where cold.
We won’t be back even though it is just minutes from home.

Wow! How many one stars can a place get? Burger was burnt black, tasted horrible, barely finished half of it and I was hungry.

Wow… I really hope owners of this DQ read their reviews and at least try to make it better.
It’s 1pm right now on a Sunday before Christmas, this place is located with in walking distance to the mall and it’s completely empty.
Their «Open» signs were off (all of them), when I mentioned this to the gentleman who was serving me he didn’t acknowledge me, not even an «ok»… I had to ask him if he heard me to which he said «yeah».
He looked like he had been up drinking all night, didn’t take a shower and hated being there. His shirt was covered in dirt, and his hands looked dirty…
Wow just wow.

The worst DQ ever! I figured I would give it 3 chances but 3^rd strike you’re out. The young people need to be taught customer service. Don’t waste your time going here.

Worst dairy queen I’ve ever been to in my life!!! Staff was unprofessional and one of the guys was high on meth!!! They didn’t greet me when I came in… thr floor was filthy… and I stood at the counter for 2 min waiting to be rung up. Place is a joke

One star is more than they deserve. I will never return after multiple attempts and absolute terrible service with over pricing I can’t believe they are still in business.

Dairy Queen on 82 in Happy Valley is a horrible restaurant. The manager JILL abuses her power over her employees and the owner. Takes advantage of these young kids and fires them without cause because she can. Works my son 11 hour shifts with no breaks, that’s right NO BREAKS and he then has to walk to and from work in 98 degree heat and he gets so sick he is down for over a WEEK with a double ear infection. Does she care? uh no. She takes him off schedule because he couldn’t get the energy after 11 hour shift to go in and clean ice cream machine the next morning and he wasn’t even on schedule till the afternoon! Then she has the nerve to tell me she doesn’t know if my son is still working there cause he hasn’t called her, then tells me she took him off schedule for misconduct. She didn’t even have a straight story.

Went tonight around 7:45pm. The drive-​thru line was about ten cars long, not budging. Parked and went inside instead. This place is FILTHY. The floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in days, the tables were grungey, and there were four employees where only one looked to be really working. Line was super long inside as well, but considering how nasty this place looked, we decided not to order here. This franchise has got some serious changes to make if they want to stay in business. We wanted Dairy Queen so bad we went to the one on 17^th in Sellwood and received excellent service and it was much, much cleaner. This is not the first blunder we’ve had at this 82^nd location, like many other reviewers have said. Will not return, and I would not recommend ordering here if they can’t even clean up the place.

I went here, for the first time, I was craving an oreo mind blizzard, I was told they were completely out, I went with cookie dough, my stomach hurts now, I over heard the drive through guy, tell all customers in line that they only had vanilla ice cream, a lot of people were upset and locked in the drive through for a good 15 minutes, it’s a small location, and lots of customers, they need a larger location

I visited this Dairy Queen this evening, the wait was long through the drive through about 15 minutes. When I got my $ 4.79 Blizzard, there was no lid, it was overfull and melting down the sides of the cup and the kid doesn’t offer me any napkins. I had to interrupt her conversation with her co-​worker to get a couple of napkins. Really? The owners of this franchise are cool with this? This is not my first experience like this at this Dairy Queen. Apparently it is a pattern. Taking my money elsewhere… Oh and I thought that you could turn a Blizzard upside down and it is so frozen and thick it won’t come out. This melting, sloppy mess was not that!

I waited 30 minutes for a four piece chicken strip basket, they had me pull around to wait while it was being made, then they came out and said it would take even longer. I had to leave without my food at that point, I was on a 30 min lunch break which I spent sitting in their parking lot. It was a big waste of my time and my money. I’m never going back.

We used to go here quite often the last 6 times we noticed a downward spiral of quality. It began with small errors in orders resulting in completely ignoring or forgetting our order. It seems like the staff is more interested in socializing than serving their customers. Thank God there is a TCBY on Stevens road. We will not be going to this Dairy Queen ever again.

Food was the same you’d expect from any DQ but the service was probably the worst I’ve ever seen in this chain.

I enjoyed my Blizzard, but this place seemed miserable. The staff seemed unorganized and cluttered, the Manager was just talking random babble to her staff as I was waiting to order.
I asked what two different items on the menu were to the cashier, and she had to check a paper in the back both times. Both of the items were a Blizzard with like 3 ingredients, both very similar.
It was 9:00pm on a Saturday and the cashier was wearing sunglasses. It was just… a very odd experience. Next time, I’ll take the drive through :)
