The pizza is decent. Why people compare it to Home Run Inn, I have no clue because it’s not even close. However, it is one of the better southside options. This location can be rather hot and I cannot imagine the air does not go higher, especially when the venue is full. One of their employees is rather rude and doesn’t communicate effectively, then has the audacity to act surprised and get upset when you don’t tip. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. They have an advanced line dancing class on Tuesdays which is a good time.

Well my pizza was a vegetable pizza and I was use to having cheese at the edge of my pizza. If you measure the first bend on your thumb my cheese started there after. I asked to speak to management it was Napoleon and he didn’t see anything wrong with my pizza wow.

Pizza is just ok if you want something quick for a fight party or whatever. However, the staff(that answers the phone) is very unprofessional; impatient and I’m sorry for saying but yes Ghetto! I guess they forget we are calling to BUY pizza not ruin their day. It’s the job you chose, calm down and speak clearly. As much as I like to try to support my own sorry but, the location in Lansing is MUCHBETTER! Worth the drive. I don’t want to spend hard earned money and deal with average food and below average personalities.

The worst Beggars ever! My friends wanted nachos the waitress said the kitchen said it will take to long to cook. I ordered a godfather sandwich without bread, the brought me a bowl of spaghetti! This place is ridiculous!

My dad likes this place(based on the food) and orders it regularly, I get the privilege of picking it up since delivery takes to long. No joke, we are down the street and were told one day 20 minutes after they opened that delivery would be TWOHOURS! Sigh, so I begrudgingly pick up the order now from the girls with the bad attitudes and lack of people skills that seem as if it is YOURFAULT that they have to wait on you. Today, I asked them for a menu since we keep having to look it up online(and use another locations menu since the Harvey one has been«coming soon» for about a year) and the girl snapped back«No!» Then paused and said«you mean like a to go menu?» «yes. A to go menu.» «no!» There is only one girl there(today she had on a pink shirt and sported a nose ring) that is remotely nice. Because of this and only her did I change my review from two starts to three. Please Beggars, train your staff or bring in people who are eager to work. Dealing with most of these to go girls is PAINFUL!

The pizza is extremely salty and never has enough pizza sauce. The inside of the restaurant is not clean, the rug was so nasty it looked black. The servers are ghetto. I also ordered cheese sticks as an appetizer and they were horrible, they tasted like old greese. I actually like Beggars pizza but this location is TERRIBLE…

1 medium pizza with green peppers & onions with 5 canned Brisks… $ 21. The pizza is too salty for my taste. Not a fan. I’ll eat it if it’s the only there served at a party. Green peppers and onions are my favorite pizza toppings too, but it wasn’t so flavorful from here.

Good pizza. I am old school downtown chicago Gino’s East on Superior lover. Back in the day Gino’s had yellow crust but changed to white flour. I was surprised to learn that Beggar’s has that same yellow crust I liked back in the day at Gino’s. Deep dish sausage baby yeah. Sauce is pungent the way I like. Add a little of the dried red peppers and Parmesan that comes with on the side and voilà! Taste the yum! It also tastes good cold or reheated the next day and the next day after that!

Beggars Pizza(Harvey, IL) is very good. Very good! My knock against them is the ignorant kids they employ. They’re loud; use profanity and discuss inappropriate topics. I would advise the owner(s) to offer some professional development training. These kids NEED it!

Honestly one of the best Beggars. I enjoy going there with friends to watch a game in the bar area. The service is good and so is the pizza. This is also a great place to throw a private party and I just love Karaōke night.
