Nuno’s Pizza

Traveling in area and hotel desk gave me a flyer for this place to deliver. Should have checked Unilocal before ordering.
Simple pizza and poppers order took over an hour and a half Pizza was not even,
¾ of toppings were on one side
the sauce was straight tomato paste and clumpy.
Charged for large instead of medium and delivery guy didn’t understand what I was talking about. Overall very un-​satisfied

Called to place a order for ribs tips, they didn’t have any. Asked for 2 chicken dinners and 2 side salads– guy on the phone didn’t know if they had
Any salad dressing. Two minutes latter yes only ranch.
Placed order, call back after card was charged
Only have 4 pcs of chicken.
Can’t believe how poorly ran.

The old adage that you get what you pay for, definitely appears to prevail when it comes to this dump. Attempting to solicit nearby businesses, I decided to have them provide pizza and wings for my students’ Christmas parties. The first delivery went well; however, when they delivered the second order, they failed to include one of the orders of wings. When I explained to them what had occurred, I was more or less told that I was a liar. What incensed me the most was the fact that my students wanted to ensue that the drivers was adequately compensated, for their time. So, one can imagine the dissolution and dissatisfaction they felt at being cheated and taken advantage of, by such an egregious business.

Can I give 0 stars. To say the least this place sucks. The fried where over cooked and horrible and pizza slice was bad. ugh!!!

Burned food, Old chicken, and a bad attitude lady with no customer service skills. There is never a manager there to fix any problems you just out your money, and stuck with horrible food.

Terrible service. My card was charged twice just like someone mentioned below and they hung up on me every time I called about it. The pizza wasn’t even good enough to make up for the lack of customer service.

This place is the pits! The pizza is ok but the customer service is crap! They take two hours to bake a pizza, and then they lie and say that they called you when the pizza guy was supposedly outside calling you! Also they double charged my credit card, and when I called them to ask about it, the girl on the phone had the nerve to have an attitude and hang up the phone. Pay cash if you do decide to go here, they are slow as hell!

I was really disappointed. The pizza had little to no taste.
I ordered a combo special. Wings, pizza & 2 liter soda for $ 15.99. She kept trying to charge me $ 28.00. She was telling me fees & taxes. I told her she was crazy. She finally hit the correct keys on the calculator. It took over an hour to get here. (Saturday afternoon)
The wings were cold & soaking in sauce. Too much sauce. The pizza had very little, if any flavor.
I will not be ordering from here again.

Pizza is my ABSOLUTE favorite food. I would eat it everyday if I could, sometimes I do. I’m really not picky when it comes to pizza so everyone is always shocked when I say I DON’T like Nuno’s, because I’ll pretty much eat any kind of pizza.
So you can imagine how happy I was when someone said this place had jumbo slices for $ 2.75 (I think). This pizza is so greasy. It took like 4 paper towels for me to soak up the excess grease. The crust is too soft, almost soggy tasting. May have been undercooked. It lacked flavor overall. It’s just not very good pizza in my opinion. I would much rather go to Little Caesars or get a frozen pizza from the supermarket than eat here again. There was nothing about it that made me want to go back, ever.

do not order from this place, we ordered a pizza from here and found a roach in our food and they refused to give us our money back. order at your own risk.

I previously mentioned that the pizza went from great to horrible. But also that I have issues giving up on places I previously liked a lot.
The same coworker, just last week, decided to give Nuno’s another chance as it had been months since. She let me know, and I figured I’d give it another go too. It was good again. Not burnt, not undercooked. A nice slice of pizza.
I haven’t tried delivery as I work just down the street, so I always just go pick up what I want, so I can’t speak to that, though.
Part of me doesn’t know why I am updating this review. Unilocal doesn’t think it adds to anything, despite it being obvious I’ve been going there for a long time. But eh, whatever. My hope is that people will find the reviews that Unilocal does not consider important and acknowledge that those people too took time out of their lives to write their opinions.

I have ordered from Nuno’s a couple times now, and I have to say that both experiences were bad.
Coming from Chicago, which is known for pizza, the pizza that I ordered from Nunos was worse than Domino’s or Little Caesars (which says a lot coming from a Pizza Town). Ok presentation, no flavor to the sauce or toppings.
My other order was for a Caesar Salad. My coworker ordered the food, and I was standing right there when she placed the order. Food was finally delivered, and they forgot the salad!!! They took the money, and said «Oh, we’ll bring it right back». We waited for ½ hour before I decided to call. The girl who answered the phone (and who took our order) said that we never ordered it!!! I even asked her since you’re telling me that we never ordered it, were you going to even call us back with that information??? She said no, she wasn’t going to call, because we never ordered it. OMG!!!
SHAME ON YOU NUNO’S FOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never patronize your establishment again, and make sure that all of my family and friends do the same.

First time ordering tonight and I was impressed. Great value. Good pizza and huge calzones. Similar price to Pizza Hut, but way better.
