Papa John’s Pizza

I love Papa John’s, their breadsticks are to die for… but this location is horrible! I’ve ordered a couple time from here and always something goes wrong. I tend to get extra sauces because the two that come with the breadsticks is never enough! And they chard 0.75 for them so when I order like $ 4 worth I expect to get them… not here! The people that work there aren’t friendly, they’re there to be there, just a crap location! Meh food is Papa Johns but everything else is horrible!

I was at the Papa John’s at 4850 N. Harlem Ave over this weekend. I am always leery of these places because most of them are rude and abrupt. Much to my surprise on Saturday I was met with courtesy and kindness. I had never been to a Papa John’s before so I was lost as to what to order. The people behind the counter took the time and effort to explain to me what they had on the menu and helped me complete my order. They were so nice that they even gave me a free drink and a coupon for next time. I will be a customer of theirs forever. Just nice to know there are people in business that still care about the customer. Tony G.

I called to order a Pizza for pickup a few nights ago and the guy that answers just barely spoke english. At first I asked him how late they were open for a pickup and he replies in a thick accent «can I have your number?» and I asked him the same question again and he said «can I have your name?» and I am thinking what? So I asked him again «How late are you open?» then he says «what you want to order?» Very confused why he was dodging my question I just decided to give him my order and I asked him hope much it would be and he says $ 13.97. Long story show I go to pick it up about 30 min later and he did not have it ready and then says he never took the order. Then another guy from the back came out who actually spoke english and said they never got the order. They did not apologize or anything.
Total jerks!

Papa John’s is Papa John’s. Nothing special. The customer service there is what is great. They are very friendly over the phone and the delivery guys are friendly too. It’s probably a sin to order here being from Chicago and all. Oh well. Once in a while won’t hurt.
