Needle Me

Faithful Dining Companion is getting crafty in her middle years. Where once she barely picked up a needle and thread, now she knits and needlepoints and I hear rumor has actually started embroidering. Who would have thunk it?
Needle Me is one of her favorite places. According to her «It’s one of only 3 reasons why I come to Havertown». Marcie, the owner, is a very warm, engaging woman who really knows her business. She earned my respect when she urged FDC to reconsider a very pretty but rather challenging piece, even though that meant she didn’t sell it (and it was not inexpensive).
I love small businesses owned by people who truly love what they are selling. Their shop becomes more than just a place to exchange goods for dollars, it becomes a haven, a celebration, a place for learning about that which they love.
Needle Me is one of those places.
Who knows, Marcie might just get me to pick up the needlepoint stuff.

For anyone that dabbles in needle point or anyone that is a creative mastermind making their own needlepoint patterns, Needle Me is a great local shop. Well stocked and manned by helpful and experienced «needlers.» Highly recommended.
