Ordered off the special 4 course menu. Waitress didn’t understand the system so we lost out on part of the menu. Had to call manager and he took 20% off. Steak was TOUGH! Sorry not going back. …why run a steak house with bad meat?

Food and service was great. Patrick was our waiter and impressed both me and my husband. If you are here. He is the best. All of our food was great. The new fondue dish was superb. Reach for the stars Patrick, you are going places. The atmosphere was nice. The only downside was the slippery floor by our table. There is nothing else bad I can say about our visit.

This used to be our favorite restaurant… now we probably won’t come back. Our appetizer was okay and the bread was great as always. The waitress refilled my sprite with water though… but no big deal, I just asked for a sprite later. We brought dice and played an entire 10,000 point dice game after our appetizer and could have easily played another round… the restaurant was the least busy I’ve ever seen it so for it to take over an hour to bring out Cobb Salad and 3 chicken strips is unacceptable. Speaking of the food, the cobb salad was missing the egg, and my partner ordered a Chicken strip meal with fries, he was brought 3 chicken strips. I let the waitress know immediately it was the wrong order and the manager(I think) brought out the corrected meal. within 5 min. And she brought me a side of egg for the salad. Worst salad ever, the croutons were MUSHY!!! Couldn’t eat it, left most on the table. My partner enjoyed his chicken strips(as always, they are yummy) and shared some with me so my baby and I weren’t hungry. At nine months pregnant, food is a serious commodity. Especially when you are paying close to $ 50.00 for a salad and chicken strips. They should be perfect, service should be fast(it was dead in there!!), and customers should leave Full and happy. Very dissapointed.

Before I say anything else… The food here is AWESOME. Whatever the kitchen is doing… Keep doing it because I have always loved your food. I came in this evening to have dinner with my family of four. Going out to dinner is a huge treat to us, and we only get to do that maybe once a month. My four year old loves steak and lobster and we saw that you had a special on it, so that’s how we decided where to go. The restaurant was almost completely EMPTY, so I figured service would be great considering the lack of customers in at that specific time which was 5:00 on a Monday evening. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and sat at a booth next to the front door. A male server promptly came over(before we received our sling to place our infants car seat in) and took our drink order and asked if we were ready to order, which we obviously we’re not considering we didn’t even get to open our menus. That was the last time we saw him. He never came back and we never received our drinks. We waited for FIFTEEN minutes and another server came over and asked if we wanted to order an appetizer…(STILLNODRINKS) After that we just left. Twenty minutes with a hungry 4 year old who doesn’t even have a water to drink is absolutely unacceptable. We probably will not be coming back to this location.

We’ve been to many Outbacks for many years throughout the states. We are a loyal fan. We are here last month & got good service. So we decided to come back here again on Wednesday because they email me about«no worry Wednesday«special menu. The place kind of dead not busy at all. We gave the waitress the full order to make her job easier. We’ve got five people. We waited 15 min for our drinks & water. Ten minutes later our breads(cold) came with our appetizer & salads all together. Ten minutes later while we are still eating all the entrée came. If there’s a long line out the door I might be more understandable. But seriously what the heck! Then she came over explaining the rule to us about services like we are new here. Three sirloin steaks are all different. Saw the manager walking around never came over. This is our worst Outback experience. We will not be back.

WELLWORTHREADING – THISWILLSOUNDFAMILIAR… My wife and I usually don’t go to Outback, but we have been here enough to anticipate recurring problems. We went Friday for my wife’s 50th b-day though I tried to talk her out of it. We were going to use a gift card someone gave us almost 2 years ago for X-mas. Despite getting there before 4:30, our server Malik didn’t arrive at our table for 6 – 7 minutes in an almost empty restaurant. He was busy chatting with the patrons at the next table about his schooling, then he went first to a booth behind ours whose occupants arrived well after we did. We ordered iced tea with an extra glass of ice as they always arrive with glasses still warm from the dishwasher. I don’t know why more glasses do not crack. The«tea» spoons he brought which we had to ask for were actually table spoons and not long enough. We actually brought our own tea spoons! I said I liked sugar but not artificial sweeteners, but he brought more sweeteners by far. I asked immediately for more sugar to head off this problem. I ordered a side of ketchup BEFORE ordering a Bloomin’ Onion, as every other time we have ordered one, and asked for ketchup which I prefer over the dippin’ sauce, I had to wait long minutes for it while our Onion cooled. Ketchup is not placed at each table, you must ask for it(although I would never put it on a steak). We made sure to order steaks without seasoning as we have had them«with» before, and found them inedible, as several other reviewers noted. My wife wanted«all you can eat» shrimp, but it is $ 8 extra. If getting it on the sirloin she wanted, it was only $ 4 more, but one side instead of two. Confusing. Luckily, we noticed the fine print. Malik let my tea run dry twice while he was gone for long minutes, almost having me go in search of my own refill.(The last time this happened, the bartender wanted to charge me extra.) He did bring me extra sour cream for my potato without me asking, which was actually awesome! The last time we were at this location, everything that could go wrong did. Despite asking, initially no: extra ice; tea spoons; side plates(when they arrived the were greasy); ketchup(4 – 5 minutes AFTER the Onion); asked for no cheese on my salad-of course, it came with extra!; asked for NO seasoning on steaks(they had to be re-made); asked for sour cream only on my potato-it came with butter and the server wanted to take the plate WITH the now-correct steak just to re-do the potato which I put a stop to; a new server appeared halfway through and said she was taking over as the first server was now«unavailable» ???; the manager came over as we were leaving and said, «You DO know your gift card was only for $ 25?» Like we were trying to cheat them. We paid the balance on our credit card, and tipped on the total, and the new server didn’t find any problems with payment… IF we go to Outback again, we will drive farther and give a different location a chance. We will ask that no one we know give us any Outback gift cards. John

Weekend work lunch is a bit tricky around here since a lot of places are either closed or they open a little later and as a creature of habit, I have to eat lunch at 11AM. I don’t particularly want to have to spend too much time being out but I also want to give myself a break from work and prefer to go out on Saturdays. This has become our usual go-to place along with a couple others. Every 3 weekends or so, we end up here. The service has always been consistently fine, some better than others but we have never had a horrible experience. We used to always get the same waiter who took his sweet time with taking orders, bringing drinks, serving the meal itself, and even dropping off the check seems to always be a struggle. I haven’t seen this person recently and the past few times, we’ve been able to get slightly faster service which is great! I usually get random things from here. I’m a bit partial to their pork chop though and I usually end up getting that. I’ve also tried their taco forkless varieties. They tasted fine and all their servings are plentiful. I generally don’t finish my lunch and end up taking some home. I’ve also been here during dinners and have tried their steaks. I liked them, they were tasty as far as I can remember and cooked to my liking. Overall, this place offers a good variety of choices and service has always been pretty good.

Had better service when I was here with my folks in January 2015 and it was more busy. I know it’s not the waitress fault, but when you serve something you need to make sure it’s correct. Ordered lobster and shrimp bites a manager apoligizing for mistakes at 2 other tables near us, but didn’t make way to our table. No wonder this place is empty. Will not be coming back here. Thanks ruining my Motnd only got shrimp and wasn’t all the way cooked. No refills on water offered or giforven. Took long time to get our food. Overheadher’s day celebration with my father.

Outback is what I call a «staple» restaurant. Somewhere that’s easily a «go to» spot when you don’t want to go to far from home. Having eaten here for years, my «go to» meal is the Alice Springs Chicken, no mushrooms, no Honey Mustard with a side of Ranch. Can’t go wrong here! Tonight I tried one of their new martinis(see photo) and loved it. Not too sweet, not too tart. Had to force myself not to have 2!

I remember our server being a stiff and unfriendly guy. Perfunctory. The food was HIGHLY over-seasoned. Like just a CRAZY amount of salt was on ALL of the food. It literally tasted unsafe to eat. As in, I was thinking, «I can eat this food, but then I might have that stroke that I’ve been trying to avoid.» I was hungry, but the notion of staying out of a sodium induced coma won over my hunger. Even the kids thought the food was too salty. And these are kids that will suck the salt off of nuts and spit out the nuts, or pour just plain salt in the palm of their hand and lick it up. One of my kids is pouring salt on to some salty pasta at our kitchen table right now. So if these kids say it was too salty, you’re got some hazardously salty vittles my friend. Other than that, I’ve got no complaints.

Good service with good outback food. We eat here like once a week. Almost always friendly service and have always fixed mess ups. Not usually too busy when we have gone, so wait times have seemed short. I have eaten here a dozen times or more.

My birthday night out with family. Party of 8. Got right in. Quick attentive service. Friendly service. As usual, rib eye was incredibly tender and juicy. Cooked just the way I like it. Place is clean. People are hustling. Will come back time and time again.

We Came in on a tuesday night. The hostess was super friendly and even made food and drink sugestions witch was very nice. Then our waitress came over and was equally nice. The service was great! The food came out perfectly too! Then as if things couldnt get any better the bartender came over and gave me a little sample of a leftover frozen cocktail rather then throw it out. Couldn’t of had a better dinner! Thanks guys!

My Mom asked to go to Outback. I said ok it’s normally pretty good. This time the restaurant was mostly empty yet they sat two large groups next to us. I mean right next to us. They actually had put up the«wings» on a table next to ours so they could seat 5, but they didn’t move the table away from ours, so when the guests sat down the mans chair was touching the corner of our table. I know it wasn’t his fault but the could have moved that table just a bit! it really was like he was at our table. the group behind me(opposite the man at our table) was a booth so I could not move back. There were a bunch of empty tables in the restaurant I don’t know why they had to jam them in so near. I complained to the wait staff and was offered I different table. I declined our food was at our table. They did slide our table over but the whole dining experience was bad. Our waitress was great and the food was ok. I had the 12 oz ribeye it was a bit tough. My Mom had the Salmon and said it was fine.

After protesting my group to go here and I was out voted, but I bet I won’t be again. True to the Outback Hazelwood form we were not disappointed and got the service and food I told them we would. BAAAADDDD!!! We ordered appetizers that came out burnt and out waitress forgot our two of our salads. All four of us ordered their large Outback special thinking that was the way to go. NEVER again, we waited 30 min and our steaks were obviously not the right size. One was huge, one was the small and the other 2, after we asked, were the child’s portion. Why couldn’t the cook or waitress see this was wrong??? So one of us got to eat and the rest of us had to wait. Then they came out one by one. Three of us were done before the 4th person ever got their replacement! NEVER did the manager come by apologize or anything!!! NEVER will I go here again. This restaurant is a huge mark on their reputation as far as I’m concerned.

The staff here is wonderful! I must give a shout out to both Ariana, the manager, and Calvin, the waiter who served our table. Several nights ago, my boyfriend’s sister, her 4-year-old son and myself decided to stop by here because it is fairly close to our home. As anyone in St. Louis knows right now, the cold weather is a BIT extreme. Unfortunately, this location’s furnace had decided to take an untimely break and stopped working — so the restaurant was definitely a little chilly. When we stepped inside, the greeting staff immediately informed us that the heat was out and that it was being worked on, but they weren’t sure when it would be fixed. Our first inclination was to find somewhere else, considering the weather, but after mentioning to the staff that we were mainly concerned about the child being too cold, they immediately worked on finding us a space heater and setting us up in a portion of the restaurant away from the doors and draft. We ended up being perfectly comfortable and able to enjoy our meal. If you’ve eaten at Outback, you have a good idea of their fare — this location did a great job on our dishes, everything was cooked as requested and brought out in a timely manner. The manager, Ariana made several stop by our table to ensure that we were taken care of, and our waiter, Calvin, was accommodating — even when we had a miscommunication about a menu item and had it removed from our bill. We really appreciate the extra mile taken by the staff here, it certainly wasn’t their fault that the furnace went out and they had to continue working even though you could tell that the rest of the restaurant, away from a space heater, was very drafty and cold. Kudos to them on a job well done and working to create happy customers who will come back.

I had a gift card and I am glad I did because I did not care for the place, people told me it was good, but the food was average, Steak was tough, over priced for small amount of food. Probably will never go back to this place. The service was ok, but could have been better
