Kevin was great. Arianna was very helpful. We loved our experience which included a picnic on the patio.

Amista is one of my very favorite wineries! The ambiance is gorgeous(great place to picnic!), the staff are super friendly and hilarious(one day I went in and caught them dancing) and the wines are beyond amazing. They do a bunch of different sparklings, all of them are delicious. The Sparkling Syrah is my personal favorite. Don’t miss this stellar star of a tasting room!

Thank goodness Ariana is now the manager of this winery. The atmosphere is so much better with her there. It’s a pleasure to taste there now.

Visited again during Barrel Weekend to see Ariana at work at her new place of employ. Was good seeing her again and she treated us to some good wine and sparkling stuff! We’ll be coming here again. Oh yeah and the staff was much better this time around with service.

Decent atmosphere. Decent wine. $ 10 per person for tasting, only waived if you buy THREE bottles??? The wine wasn’t that good. Not even close. There are too many wineries with complimentary tasting of better wine for me to go back to Amista. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because they are dog friendly.

I went here for Winter Wineland for the first time. The owners greeted us at the entrance and the winemakers were present as well. Everyone working there was super friendly. Their claim to fame is that they are the only winery in the area serving sparkling wine. I was not craving sparkling wine, but we thought we would just check out the place. I’m so glad that we did. The blancs de blanca was good, but the sparkling syrah was amazing. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised. We had to get a bottle of it. The winemaker even said that her husband loves it, even though he doesn’t normally like sparkling wine — I totally agree with that feeling. I highly recommend this place.

Some good wines but it was a bit overpriced. I was also given a free tasting card by a manager, but they ended up charging for the tasting despite my protest. There are better places in dry creek.

We were super impressed with all the wineries we visited in Healdsburg, but this was one of our favorites. The tasting experience was fun and enjoyable. Great music, fun vibe. Our tasting included five wines, but we ended up tasting ten. The Zinfandels were our favorites and even though we’re not normally Rose fans, we ended up bringing a bottle home to enjoy with our next spicy meal(it was that good). Hang out with Chris. He’s awesome.

I was served by a delightful young green-eyed woman during my visit this past Sunday. The wines were also lovely, including a particular Chardonnay that blew my mind. There tasting center also has an outdoor patio, which I hope to enjoy when I return with friends. Highly recommend this place, for service, ambiance, and, of course, the wines.

This is one of our favorite stops in the Dry Creek Valley! My wife and I try to get by here often for their special events. They are very dog friendly and we love places that allow us to get out with our dogs. We love their Cab and Syrah as well as their bubbly. Dorothy and Larri Ann are always so nice when we come in as well as the rest of their staff. We like to get a bottle of wine and sit in the wine garden with the dogs and enjoy the view. Simply put, great wines, great staff and comfortable relaxing atmosphere.

At our tasting with Samantha & Dorothy, we learned Amista means making friends. Then, we bought 2 wines, and we learned they charged us a wine tasting fee. That is NOT how you make friends. Especially when everyone else waives the tasting when you buy their wine. We won’t be visiting them again. Their wine wasn’t that good anyway.

One of our must visits when we hit wine country. The tasting room is great and the staff knows their wines and the community. We will be there in about 3 weeks. Definitely, our first stop!

Amista is one of my favorite vineyards! I live in Los Angeles so I don’t get up to Sonoma County often but when I do, I always go for a visit. I was up there last weekend, visiting a friend in Oakland, and we went to Amista for a wine tasting and a picnic. The wine is delicious, the staff is friendly and super knowledgeable(Cindy was the one helping us out and we had a great time chatting with her) and the location is breathtaking. After our tasting, Cindy poured me and my friend a glass of wine each and we went out onto their covered patio for our picnic lunch. The weather was beautiful and the landscape is very picturesque. All in all, a very enjoyable afternoon. I would suggest Amista to anyone who is looking for a vineyard with great wine, great customer service and a great view.

This was one of my favorite wine tasting rooms during our recent trip west. The woman who was working on the day of our visit was so pleasant; we had a great time chatting away as we sampled the offerings. There’s a pretty little deck outside but the wine tasting room itself is nice and bright with high ceilings. We left with a bottle of chardonnay; not my favorite grape usually, but this one lacked the signature buttery notes which is what hooked me. Looking forward to returning on our next visit to wine country!

We came across this place accidently. The wine is ok, I recommend the Cab. The staff was friendly & helpful. They have a nice outdoor area for an afternoon picnic. Small tasting room, so when they get busy there is a wait.

This was our fourth stop on our wine tasting tour. We picked up sandwiches across the street at the Dry Creek General Store and took our food over to Amista’s picnic area, which was beautiful. Amista is a smaller winery, so you are smack in the middle of the vines while you eat on the patio. Our tour guide went to pick up a bottle of their Rose for us to share with our meal. I must say, that was probably my favorite of their wines. It is a perfect picnic wine, especially if you are sharing with a large group with varying tastes, like ours was. The service at this winery was very nice. They actually brought the tasting out to us on the patio. We tasted a variety of wines, but nothing really stood out to me. I don’t know if it is because we had already done quite a bit of tasting that day or if we were all in food comas at that point, but it did not seem as though anyone was overly impressed. Our tour guide did let us know that they are probably one of the smallest producers that we tasted that day. Our guide talked with us about how wines can be very subjective and what one person loves, the next person may dislike. We definitely saw that happen over the course of our tour, with two exceptions where one everyone bought something and Amista where no one did. I felt bad becasue they were so nice and accomodating to our group. As I said the Rose was decent, but nothing I would go out of my way for. However, maybe in your opinion you may enjoy it. If you are in the area, certainly stop by and you will be welcomed warmly. One thing our group loved was that they seemed to be a very dog friendly winery, so if you have your fur babies along, this would be a good place to hang out for a while. Wines I would rate as three stars, but service and atmosphere I would rate at four. Therefore, I will settle on four.

Pulled in on a whim while visiting wine country for the day. Not only was it a beautiful winery/vineyard, but we practically had the place to ourselves. Patrick was very friendly and knowledgable about all the wines, and really gave us the 5 star experience! Thanks!
