Saturday night around 7pm. Restaurant full of people. Twelve people waiting to be seated. They had the nerve to shut the bar area down to get ready for brunch. I watched at least 5 families walk out. A little advice would be to have your staff work late to set up for brunch the next day. No telling how many other folks walked out after me.

First time here. Salsa was okay. We got the chimichunga burrito it was delicious and split between 2 people. Added a side salad which was fresh and delicious as well. The server Alan was amazing, he gave us great service.

I’ve been coming here for over 15 years, and I still love this place. The food is very consistent. Always delicious and fresh. I always get the fajitas, they never disappoint. Best chips n salsa ever. Gorgeous, huge restaurant. Great service every time. I can’t think of anything negative to say.

We walked in and were greeted by a very non enthusiastic, disengaged hostess that made us wait for 20 minutes, while other people were being seated who came in after us. Once we were sat we waited about 15 mins before a server came up to our table. I ordered the chicken Cesar salad and it was mediocre at best. I took a bite and found a long blonde hair in my salad. I called the waitress over and gave her the plate. She didn’t apologize or anything for the hair. In addition to my experience, my husband also felt very unsatisfied with his experience as well. Overall, I feel that quality of food and employee service has made it to where I will no longer be coming to this restaurant. My suggestion for anyone looking for good Mexican food in Hemet is La Fogata.

Tortilla is the only thing they have going for them … Had the carne Asada tacos and the meat had no flavor. Beans were salty. And the guacamole looked like green paste. Not worth the drive never coming here

I frequent this place quite often. The food is excellent and the service has been amazingly consistant. Fresh tortillas made fresh daily. I love the Carne Asada plate! It’s magnificent!!! I am very picky about places that I patronize especially when it comes down to my food! If I say it’s good, you can take my word for it or you can check it out for yourself!

Time and time again they prove themselves to be a consistent solid one star. I only go with friends when invited because it is such overpriced crap. I would never pay for this food personaly. Edible for most people who dont know any better but crap for a seasoned cook like myself how has actually worked on the kitchen line for twenty years! Way overpriced for the typical down-graded americanized mexican garbage version of food. I ordered Chili Verde Burrito. I got a flour tortilla stuffed with REFRIEDBEANS of all things and a few bits of Chili Colorado! And NOT even smothered in GREEN sauce(VERDE) duh.

I love this place! We come at least twice a month with our kids on Sunday’s(kids eat free) for dinner. My kids get bummed out if we don’t come and would probably hate me if I wrote a bad review! Haha The chips and salsa are delicious and we can’t get enough. I ALWAYS get the sizzling chicken enchiladas made with flour tortillas and not corn. So dang good!!! It comes with rice, beans, sour cream, and guacamole. Get it, you won’t regret it. We’ve only had to really wait for a table one time and it was like 20 minutes. Service is normally quick and efficient. We’ve gotten a poor waitress before but hey. It happens.

Love this place! The Chile Relleno is my favorite. Great Happy Hour and the band that plays on Wednesday and Thursday(One 2 Many) is awesome. Karaōke nights are fun as well. Lori is a great bartender and Rachel is our favorite server. Good Salsa and Chips too. Good for lunch, dinner or just hanging in the Cantina area.

As this review, everything else at this restaurant is right in the middle. Food is not bad but it’s not great either. Tortillas are made on-site and are fresh but lady has her but over the tortillas most of the time. Staff is not bad but not great. Bathroom is awful and décor is very well done. The chicken soup doesn’t have a lot of flavor. Their enchiladas are good. Their tacos are fine. Their pizza it will cause you to vomit. Their chicken tenders are better than the average kids meal menu. I would probably give them 3.5 but since I can they are stuck with three stars.

This place was awesome. Right when we walked in there was a live band playing in the bar. They actually sounded pretty good and played good music. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. Everything about this place rocked. My fiancé had a chile rellano which had mashed potatoes in it. We had never heard of it before but man it tasted good! We will definitely be coming back again!

Food is really good. The ambience is pretty neat. There’s a lunch buffet that I ended up getting there to late for. The service was horrible. So slow. Like snail slow. Like half smashed snail slow. The prices were reasonable. Easy to find and lots of parking. I liked the food but I won’t be back just because of the service

Ok… I was very skeptical about coming here but… pleasantly surprised about the quantity, quality and flavor of the food. The service was not polished but it was prompt and effective. Overall a pretty good place for good Mexican food in Hemet CA. I reccomend the trio… Carne asada, enchilada and chile relleno. WARNING… you better be hungry! Opportunities for improvement: — check your tables often — improve your chips and salsa… they taste store bought — work on making customers feel welcome by having an inviting and sincere greeting.

«Average Food, under average service, and food overpriced.» Restaurant is very nice inside. However, don’t lets looks deceive you. The food is average at best, a lot of it tasteless. The chips and salsa were good but combos are lacking flavor and over-priced. Also had to flag waiter down for drink refills on multiple occasions. Visited December 2014

Love the guacamole in this place! I don’t come down to this area much, but when I do it’s always on the list. Funny thing, by the time the food comes I’ve almost always nearly filled up on chips and guacamole, but that’s not really a bad thing since the leftovers are delicious.

Cinco D Mayo, this place is usually pretty good. Tonight was particularly bad. Found a hair in my salsa, tacos were soggy, order came incorrect and sat by some really obnoxious patrons, not their fault of coarse. Best hand made tortilla. Waitress was really nice but had to many sections. Going to give this place a rest for awhile. . Prices per meal are extremely high.

I was feeling like a snack and didn’t want to drive down the street for fast food, so I thought this would be a good spot. Eh, sorta. Third star was for the bartender Anthony, who was fine(but as it was a half hour before close, it was winding down). The architecture was a bit strange and they had a bunch of table and steam trays out, so looks like they might have a buffet special or something. Had a quesodilla with sour cream and guacamole. Nothing spectacular, but at least they’re not the greasy-dillas you get at Del Taco. Washed it down with a couple pints of Tecate and called it a night. $ 13.95, sans tip and tax.

I love this place! I’ve been coming here for over 2 years now and they never disappoint. I can’t understand the low ratings. The décor is in line with the cowboy theme. You’ll see lots of fake ox horns and cowboy boot spurs throughout the restaurant. The seating is mostly booths, with a couple of tables in between. They have a bar, if you want to come get a drink and watch the game. On weekends they offer karaōke, which is fun! The menu is reasonable and the service is good. I typically get a combo meal. It will include two items with a side of beans and rice for under $ 10. The two main items are a choice of enchiladas, tacos, taquitos, etc. The shrimp cocktail is excellent, also. Try their banana margarita! This is a great local spot to come and get a nice lunch or dinner. The expectations can’t be too high. We’re not talking about a Beverly Hills Steak House here, folks. It’s a must try!
