Holistic Veterinarian of Nevada

Dr. Carol Jean Tillman is by far the best holistic veterinarian I’ve had for my dear cat. She is knowledgeable, experienced and practices both holistic and conventional medicine. She works at both the holistically-​focused Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital and the conventionally-​focused Geary Veterinary Hospital.
Holistically she practices acupuncture and homeopathy on animals, plus she does house calls! Dr. Tillman has been my cat’s vet for the last couple of years until he recently passed on 11÷6÷13. My cat was 19 years old when he passed and his health had been declining since September. She recommended an X-​ray and ultra sound of his abdominal area and sure enough, there was a large mass. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything she could do to save him but he lived a very good, long, healthy cat life up until recent months. I’ve never seen a more compassionate vet — she was already scheduled for a house call and she rushed over earlier when I told her that his condition was getting worse. I sadly had to make the decision to put him down that day but I would not have wanted any other vet under his care. She was so kind, she even wrote me a long, handwritten letter expressing her sympathy. She also brought back his carrier and his ashes from the pet cemetery for me which again was so very kind of her.
I loved it that she does house calls, it was the reason I started having her treat my cat in the first place. There have been many times where I was unable to take the cat to the animal hospital and I was more than willing to have her make a house call. My cat was very cantankerous when it came to going to the vet, and it was a lot less stress on him (and the vet) to have a house call. She always brought her kit full of homeopathic remedies and I swear to this day by the treatments.
A few years ago I had been taking my cat to a conventional vet to treat feline acne. Feline acne is painful as it causes these bleeding sores and this «coffee grounds» crust on the chin. My poor cat didn’t even want to eat because of the sores. This had been going on for more than 2 months, I had to keep taking him in and that other vet would try to pop the acne sores on his chin. It just would not clear up with the topical medication and oral medication. Finally I got fed up with taking him in every week to torture the cat, so I called Dr. Tillman. She made that first house call visit and gave him a full examination, then gave him this liquid holistic remedy that she mixed in a brown dark jar with a little pill of holistic remedy and spring water. I gave him this remedy by mouth for three days and sure enough, the feline acne started to get better!!! Here I had been wasting two months at the other vet, when this treatment got rid of it in a matter of days.
When I get my next kitty I am of course going to have Dr. Tillman as its vet. My cat was my ‘baby’ and he had the best veterinary care with Dr. Tillman. Please give her a try, you won’t regret it.
