I don’t think most people reviewing this restaurant actually understand the restaurant. This place offers everything from burritos to butter chicken, its not about quality, its about quantity and variety. I’ve been waiting for a place like this since the beginning of time, most delivery in the area is pizza or chinese food, and sometimes the rare Indian delivery, but this place offers EVERYTHING. We’ve ordered sandwiches, subs, burgers, Indian food, burritos, nachos, wings and haven’t had a bad experience yet. I see some reviews talk about a bad experience they had so they gave the restaurant a 1 out of 5, when you have a restaurant offering several varieties of food and a menu where you could order every day for a year and still not taste the whole menu, its hard to get everything right. I’m sure if they had asked for a refund I’m sure the management here would be happy to oblige and offer another meal. In short, this restaurant is heaven for drunks like me, people complaining need to chill the F out and go back to Morton’s or Bonefish Grill if they’re looking for a quality dining experience.

Take out place — don’t eat in! We had a coupon & ate there but felt out of place. Food was nothing great, although after reading reviews we did get the wings. Despite the fact they came after our 4 meals they were good. Feel no need to return.

Inconsistency was today’s theme. Ranch sauce was watered down, it just didn’t taste the same as before. Both batches of chicken wings were greasy, dry & slightly overcooked. I am hoping they will go back to what they did well and not change their recipes or cooking technique. Deducting one star for ultra-dry greasy wings and no sauce on our gyro. Deducting one star for heartburn after eating; I can only suspect the wings(precooking & flash frying?)

I ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and it was very disgusting. Food came quickly, probably too quickly and I found out why. It was stuck together, to the point that a knife would have to be used in order to eat. Very bland, no flavor. Good thing a salad came with it, so I could eat that and not starve. Horrible experience.

Love the mozzarella sticks and the marinara sauce! Fast delivery. Did not like the Steak and cheese sub. The tuna sub and calzone is very good.

The bacon cheeseburger and pizzas are both pretty good. My lack of more stars has to do with prices. This place is far too overpriced for what you get. A cheeseburger is ~$ 7 – 8 and doesn’t even come fries, it comes with a bag of potato chips! Who serves potato chips with a burger? The seating is minimal with the chairs sounding like they’re scratching the floor every time you move them. I would come here often when I worked in Herndon but can’t imagine I’ll be back here again.

Came here at 3 when everything else around is close. Had the Kabob platter and fish and chips. It took a while but the portions were huge and the food was great!

I have to say that I love their chicken wings. They make them spicy just the way I like them. Most places hold back on spices. Spice Town lives up to its name. My mom and I love their wings so much that we came back after we went gluten-free to see if the wings were breaded. I asked the owner if they use glutenous flour to coat the wings. He stated that everything in the store was gluten-free. My eyes went wide. It was like someone answered my deepest darkest wish. I knew it was too good to be true. I inquired further as to what he meant. He held up a bag of wheat flour and said«See! It’s gluten-free! Everything is gluten-free!» At that point I was shocked, because that was a law suit waiting to happen. I explained to him that wheat flour is glutenous. He argued very adamantly that I had no idea what I was talking about, even though I have a gluten allergy. I tried to explain to him the dangers of advertising that his products are gluten-free. My mom grabbed my arm and said«he doesn’t understand and he never will.» This incident happened a few years ago. I really hope that he doesn’t claim that he offers gluten-free food. If you don’t have any allergies, please do try the wings. I wish I could eat them! Eat some on my behalf ;-) The spicy tandoori pizza is also good.

When I used to order from Spice Town in Sterling I was always very pleased with the quality of their Meatball Sub Platter(includes fries and coleslaw). Which is why I was happy to see that there is one in Herndon… unfortunately I’m not so happy anymore! The meatballs are BURNT, no flavor except for this one spice that makes me gag at each bite attempting to each something for lunch. The fries are ok, nothing to rave about. My favorite part of this order was the coleslaw which comes in a container as round as a 50 cent piece so you get maybe 2 good bites out of it. How disappointing! The delivery guy was very nice and it wasn’t a budget breaker but for the quality of the food I shouldn’t have paid so much. I could have gone to McDonald’s and saved $ 10. The reviews about this place are mixed so I would just say use your best judgement when ordering.

Just ok. Had a coupon that was mentioned and quoted for price over the phone. When delivered it was full price. So when I called back I was told that it was an old coupon(even tho no expiration was on it) and they wouldn’t honor it. Oh and pizza was cold.

Two words for you — Taco Pizza. Spice Town is one of the very few places out there that offers a taco pizza, and for my money, it’s worth every dime to drive from Ashburn to Herndon just to get one. I love taco pizzas, and Spice Town does it right! The meat is seasoned perfectly, and the cheese and tomatoes only add more to the delicious taco based sauce that they spread across each pie. I’ve never had a bad one here. As for the rest of their menu, I can offer no assistance or review as I’ve only deviated from the taco pizza once.

Awful food and over priced. Delivery took forever and the food wasn’t worth the wait or the price. Even the trash wouldn’t take this crap.

My favorite things about this place are the sauces – delicious ranch dressing and the wing sauce. I’m not sure if they make their own or what, but it’s good stuff. I normally order the mozzarella sticks, and the last time they should’ve been cooked 20 – 30 seconds longer. When I have ordered subs they’ve been too soggy by the time they get to my house. I prefer to order and pick up there for this reason. The inside of this place is not very welcoming for a nice white lady who appreciates cleanliness, but the siren call of fried cheese brings me in every so often. I was there a few yrs ago and ants crawled across the counter. The dudes at the counter have been occupied with their phones.

UPDATE: Felt awful after eating the food. Like a mild case of food poisoning or something. I didn’t get sick per se; but I felt like crap the rest of the day and couldn’t even eat dinner. I thought it might have been just me, but a couple other coworkers had the same symptoms. It wasn’t an overeating issue, since I only had one slice of pizza and a few wings… and I eat wings and pizza all the time, so its not like a trigger food for me. It just hit me like a truck, so I’m not sure if it was the wings were bad or the pizza or both. But I’d be scared to try them again… Buyer beware! Dang, bummed because the wings were good! ***** Not sure why the bad reviews for this place. Ordered delivery from here for a meeting at the office. Pizza and wings were delivered hot and fresh. Pizza was A-ok. Better than typical pizza chain pizza… Maybe not quite as good as some of the local pizza joints; but solid pizza. It was thin crust and had a lot of toppings. Toppings were fresh and the sauce was good. They even gave little tubs of fresh grated parmesean cheese to put on top(not the cheap powder) and packets of red pepper. I’ve never had a place include fresh grated cheese on the side, which was a nice touch! My only complaint about the pizza was it was a little floppy. I would have liked it be a little more crunchy/cooked a bit longer. It was borderline soggy, but that may have been because it was loaded up with toppings which can cause that to happen sometimes… I thought the wings were really good. They were really saucey in a good saucey way! Buffalo style hot sauce good — you know, a bit vinegary a bit spicy. The best part about them was that they were cooked perfectly in my opinion. They were crunchy. Nothing worse than gettings wings and having them be undercooked and soggy with fatty skin everywhere — GROSS. These wings had a nice crunch to them and lots of sauce, so they were great. Came with plenty of ranch for dunking too. I would put the wings on par with a place that specializes in wings. Miles above your typical pizza chain carry out soggy gross wings. I’m talking to you, Papa Johns/Dominos/etc! All in all, everyone was very happy with the quality of the pizza and wings. I am not sure on price, because this time around, I was fortunate enough for the company to pick up the tab for the meeting we were in. I will order from them again and maybe try some other things to see how they stack up, but so far we are pleased with what Spice Town can do.

Spice Town is a mix. One one hand, they’ve made some of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. And then I’ve also gotten some pizzas that were downright horrible(greasy, chewy and off tasting). It seems to be a mix of quality depending on who works there, but overall I’ve found them to be fairly good overall. I honestly do love Spice Town, but have to dock them points for inconstancy in food quality. I’ve been eating here off and on for about three years, and continue to go back. Their menu is a mix. Lots of good, lots of bad. I think they try to focus on offering too many types of food –vs– improving where their strengths lay. And those strengths? Their strengths lay in their wings, pizza and gyros. But they can be ridiculously expensive at times. In a world of $ 5 footlongs, it’s ridiculous to think a footlong sub can cost $ 16 – 18. It’s worth noting their footlongs are advertised as 14″, but still. At Spice Town, a $ 16 sandwich is par for the course. And what you get for the price never seems to be really worth it. Oddly, my favorite thing on their menu is their chicken nuggets(I know, I know…). I’m not quite sure what it is about it, but their honey mustard is downright amazing.
