Foods pretty good, usually I don’t have a problem with promptness, but that could be because I come here late afternoon. I think it’s a pretty good place for lunch!

Ate there on Nov.8^th.no cars in parking lot, we thought maybe we were late eating lunch — what a waste of time and money. Salad must have been 2 days old! Bread on sandwiches laying out before becoming a «sandwich»! Asked for and paid for onions on salad. didn’t get them, took salad back for onions, was told they were on there… NOT. DON’T EVEN SLOW BY THIS PLACE!!!

First time to a Firehouse Sandwich shop. We were in NC visiting friends. The place was very dirty the floors had garbage all over them. I ordered a veggie sub and it had pieces of tuna in it! It also took 10 minutes to make the sandwich and the place was empty.

Dinner, 6:00 p.m.
— There was only one couple in the restaurant, which is not a good sign.
— Their sano rating is 95.0, acceptable — but not great.
— The restaurant is run by teenagers.
I ordered a REGULAR MEATBALL SUB, which is one of Firehouse’s signature sandwiches. They have a «best meatball» guarantee. I can guarantee that it is not the best. It is not better than Subway, and certainly not better than Quizno’s.
Price? $ 6.41 with taxes.
I give the food, service, and hot sauce selection one star. One star goes to their über-Coke machine, which I love. (This is the same drink dispenser that is featured in all Five Guys franchises.)

This Firehouse subs has been pretty good the multiple times we’ve gone. We typically wind up there when we aren’t exactly sure what we want. We know we can get in and out pretty quick and have a good sandwich.
They have one of the newer Coke machines with something on the order of 47,000 types of soda, and free kids meals on Wednesday with the purchase an combo. Plus if you’re into hot sauce, they have a collection of 20 – 30 they always keep in stock to try.

I was suprised by how tasty my sub was. I got the Managers daily special, which was an Italian combo. Im not normally a big fan of Italian subs, but this one was so good, I mentioned it to a friend. The Mgrs special means that you buy the sandwich and get the chips and drink for free.
