Pottery Barn Store 438

I love pottery barn but several of the sales ladies at this location, Debbie in particular, would benefit from a course in basic customer service. On two separate occasions she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her when making large purchases. I will go out of my way to shop at the Deer Park location or better yet, on line!

My Husband and I always love shopping in this PB. It has a small town feel and the staff is fantastic! They are always pleasant and helpful. They don’t mind searching for a item or helping you locate a product, no matter how busy the store is.

I have shopped extensively at several of the larger PB stores in the Midwest and have used design services at one of their other locations. We liked PB products but the service mix ups and lack of attention had soured us on staying with pottery barn. However, We recently moved to north shore and had the pleasure of working with Debbie in the highland park store. My husband and I were both immediately impressed with her knowledge of the sofa we wanted as compared to the other PB offerings. She has a great eye and was very quick to learn my preferences and just TELLS me like it is when I am going in a very bad design direction. She also pays attention to the details and misses nothing. While this is not one of their main locations we have gotten very high level service from this store, We highly recommend this potterybarn and Debbie’s design services. Because of her we are satisfied PB customers once again.

While this isn’t the largest store or have the most extensive inventory it does have excellent sales personnel. They are super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
I have come here on more than one occasion to spruce a room here and there. I can be indecisive at times going back and forth… this duvet cover with this coverlet or that one, this throw pillow or two of those? The sales people are so kind to offer their advice but also respectful enough to have the patience to let me make up my own mind.

I really love this store. Some things can be a little pricey, but in general reasonably priced. The employees are really eager to find what will work for you, moreso than I find at most stores.
We had an incident recently where they ordered something for us from another store. It was supposed to be new and the store packaged it as new. But when it arrived, it was not new, it was damaged and obviously attempted to be touched up. Even though it was not the fault of this particular store, rather the store that they ordered it from, this store made it up to us and took care of it.
I also love their rewards program!

Love Pottery Barn and their beach cottage chic style! They have great stuff, but it’s definitely overpriced. Great sales in June/​July though!
