We started working with Melodie Rubin end of last year due to our own lack of ideas, resources and creativity and it’s been a great ongoing project ever since. She has wonderful ideas that I would have never thought of myself which is exactly what we needed.
We asked her if we could work on a room-​to-​room basis, since it’s easier for us to budget and she’s been very flexible with our needs. On top of all this, she is a great and energetic lady and fun to work with.
Since she knows us and our tastes and preferences very well now, the pieces and combinations she recommends to us are right on the spot.

I had the pleasure to partner with Melodie Rubin from House of Ruby on a recent residential interior design installation. Melodie is excellent at executing her complete design vision for a room while having an incredible eye for detail. She has a great personality, is easy to work with, and makes designing your home a fun and creative experience. She is an up and coming designer and budget friendly right now, but her prices will surely rise as she becomes more in demand. If you want beautiful interior design for your home, book her now. I highly recommend hiring House of Ruby!

We used Melodie for paint color choices when we moved into our home in West Portal. Melodie was wonderful to work with and very talented. Our home is old and has 5 rooms that open into each other. We knew we wanted alot of color but we had no idea where to start. Melodie helped us pick a group of cool tones that worked with our furniture and our style. We get so many compliments on the colors of our home. Since it looks so good, people are always asking us who was the interior designer. Color makes a world of difference and Melodie’s great sense of style made us very pleased with her work. I will definetly use her again.

Melodie from House of Ruby is fun to work with and really knows how to put a room together. She has a great sense of style that translates into functional and refined spaces. When my fiancé and I moved in together, we merged our furniture and realized that it didn’t work well together (ie-​the wagonwheel coffee table). Melodie came in and selected new furniture, fabric, lighting, accessories and paint. Through it all Melodie was sensitive to our budget and demonstrated her incredible talent for selecting amazing pieces. We love having friends and family over to show off our new home! House of Ruby will make your home fabulous on any budget!
