When we moved to Holliston I was shocked at the lack of food places. We continue to try this location time and time again, and it’s always the same lack luster result. They never get the order right. When they tell you it will be ready in 30 mins, the food is always cold once you drive it down the street home! Honestly if there were more options in town, this place would never survive. We have been to many other Bertucci locations and they have been great. It has to be down to poor management?

Love coming here for takeout. It’s on my home when I’m out and about and they always are so polite on the phone and there is plenty of parking. Balsamic chicken is so good and the lemon chicken with pasta

I went here Sunday night with my husband. it was fairly busy. there was a gentleman alone ahead of us in line, he knew one of the staff and when he asked for the large table that seats 4 they said sure. I pointed to another empty table that seats 4, and I was told, they couldn’t possibly, as they are so busy. so we got one of the tiny 2 seater tables wedged against a wall. we both ordered Pizza, our drinks and bread came quickly, after 35 minutes the waitress came over to tell us our order never made it into the kitchen, we decided to wait for the pizza, it’s my favourite, or was. I got the veggie pizza and the broccoli on it was funky, tasted very strange, I was so disappointed not sure I will ever go back. there are plenty of staff but they are so disorganized…

It’s a shame because Holliston doesn’t have many good places to get take out from. My family gets the same one pizza from here pretty often. It’s very inconsistent, sometimes black crust, sometimes barely cooked. Most recently, my husband waited in the restaurant for 45 minutes after arriving in the twenty minutes they told him it would be. He is currently sitting there waiting again, longer than we were told with half our order sitting on the counter getting cold. Hire more people, be able to accommodate, or close! Two stars because sometimes the food is good.

horribly slow service had to ask my order twice after putting in my parents order. Burnt pizza. And took 15 minutes to get our change back. Won’t go back again unless I have a different server.

Food is always great, but service, not so much. Always slow service. Sometimes wait 10+ minutes for the waiter/waitress to acknowledge that you are there… I know this is not normal as other Bertuccis have great and fast service. Management should look into what is up with this location.

Have always loved Bertuccis Holliston in the past. Not anymore after our order this past Saturday. Placed an order for 3 large pizzas, a Nolio(white pizza with caramelized onions and prosciutto), Plain cheese and a pepperoni pizza. Total of $ 62.00. All were very underdone, tough and not even close to what they used to be. Crust was more of a bread dough than a thin crust brick oven pizza dough. Really think the ingredients are not the high quality they built their reputation on. Bummer, really was psyched to have a quality dinner.

Worst Bertuccis I have been to. My husband and I came here for the first time last night. We were sat near the hostess station, which is fine, except that the phone had this constant piercing loud ring that rang throughout our entire meal. We didn’t get oil with our rolls, which i love! Took our server, who was pleasant, ten minutes to come take take our drink order. Im not sure what was wrong with the draft line, but my husband ordered a sam adams boston lager and it was flat and tasted very very off. He didnt want to complain so drank it. When the server asked if he wanted another beer he said«yes, but actually could i have a bottle instead?» But the server walked off on him mid sentence and brought another draft(he drank it again which was his own fault for not sending it back but like i said, he hates complaining) Pizza was good.. Only saving grace of the night was the frozen yogurt shop next door. We will come back for takeout only. That way i only have to hear the phone ring for a few minutes.

I am completely stunned with these poor reviews. This is clearly the best Bertucci’s I have ever been too. Each of their restaurants have there own«vibe» and«feeling», and this one is superior. A family-oriented, small, cozy restaurant at a busy intersection in Holliston.(only minor issue is exiting, turning left is tough). Anyway, located at this intersection of Routes 16&126 lies this great destination, that I visited for the first time, today, 10÷9÷15. Steph, our waitress was amazing. She was extremely friendly, efficient, knowledgable about the menu and restaurant in general, and just an overall great & kind waitress. She made this spot worth going back to. Anyway, the rolls are delicious as well as all of the food they make here. I had the chicken parma, which was incredible and easily able to cover 2 meals(I had to take home about ½ of it!). It was huge, and so delectable, on of the main reasons I chose Bertucci’s in the first place. 5 stars for food, location, and Steph. Don’t listen to the other reviews, this is a great place, I couldn’t see anyone having an issue with(other than the exit, and it seems to get very crowded on weekends(but really, what restaurant isn’t crowded and doesn’t have a wait on a weekend?). Highly suggested.

Once a classic pizza shop now it just another chain restaurant. Menu, décor & service is just like Applebee’s, 99’s, Not Average Joes etc. Food is just okay, service average, décor just like the others. Coffee is by far the worst ever served. If you like chain food this is it.

We have been going for years. Seen many changes in staff and this is by far the worse it has been. A new female manager is loud, crude and rude. I think she was there years ago and is now back. The management team is really sad. They forget that it is an open format and you can see and hear everything while sitting there. Our food was cold. And they just hang out and gossip in a group. Service was slow and our waiter not a friendly kid by any means. We like the pizza — hit or miss. The chicken wings are usually good, but were cold. It is run by under trained and unprofessional staffing and kids. it is like you are inconviencing them being there. Don’t know what is happening here, But we won’t be going back and that is such a shame because it used to be a nice place.

I just wish the Holliston location was even passable. Here I sit, again, waiting for mt takeout order. The food is ready, but not the all important rolls. Seriously, you know that everyone wants the rolls, so why would you ever run out? Grrrr.

Had called in for a simple take out order 2 small pizzas & a caesar salad without cheese. my only mistake was not to double check when I picked it up cause I would never imagine them screwing up a simple order. Came back home there was cheese in the salad & there was NO caesar dressing with the salad. went back all the way to pick up just a salad dressing. They did not NO apologize. Came back home opened my pizza they put mushrooms on my pizza which I DIDNOT ask for since I HATE mushrooms. very disappointing place. I would stick to my usual framingham branch.

The service was fast and great but the food was horrible. I ordered pizza and it came out burnt and my boyfriend ordered spaghetti and meatballs, his food didn’t taste that great and the meatballs were burnt. The bread rolls we received before our meal were hard and practically cracked my boyfriends tooth. The food was a disappointment.

RE-eval: I like this place. All of the food is tasty and wait staff are spot on with friendliness and helpfulness. This is a good local spot to meet friends and have good food. Take-out is good too. thank you for being in our town Bertucci’s!

Too expensive sums up this place. The food is generally okay to good but for the price it’s not enough. The service is okay. I’d be all about this place if it wasn’t as expensive. $½ food for $$½ price, if you get my drift.

When presented with options for minestrone soup for a quick and easy dinner, the following options present themselves: 1. Bertucci’s minestrone soup. 2. Any canned variety of minestrone soup, available from any food store. I suggest you choose option #2, for the following reasons: 1. The canned soup was probably made more recently than Bertucci’s minestrone. 2. The pasta shells of the canned soup do not have the consistency of apple sauce, presumably, due to multiple days simmering in the pot. 3. The canned variety of minestrone is quite likely seasoned for flavor. 4. The can can be stored in your kitchen. Or even in a glove box for easy access. No need to drive down to Bertucci’s and pay extra for bland disappointment.

The menu selection is expanding for the better. Too bad we always seem to order the same this. The rolls were hot and fresh. The oil was very flavorful. The pizza comes with a side salad(which I believe is new). The silano Pizza comes with an Alfredo sauce, broccoli and chicken. Always tasty but the sauce was slightly on the watery side this time. The crust however was super soft and wonderful. I hate when it is hard. Service was good and pleasant.

I’m dog-sitting in Holliston this week and I pass by this Bertucci’s on the way there from work. Thursday after work I called up and ordered a salad, which was ready when I got there and it was really yummy and the service was great. I had some grilled chicken with me at this place I’m dog-sitting at, so I got a plain salad, no chicken. I was shocked that it came to $ 10. It’s literally just lettuce, some mozzarella balls and a couple of cherry tomatoes. Anyway, I ate it and liked it. Cut to Friday night. My fella is visiting me in Holliston, it’s late and we want some dinner. I remember the Bertucci’s and their Pizza Verde, which is a pizza with no sauce, just mozzarella, prosciutto and arugula topped with a drizzle of balsamic. I called Bertucci’s, the girl on the phone asked for my name, which I gave to her and spelled out for her(it’s Ana, A-N-A). She didn’t hear me well the first time, so she asked for my name again, which I tried to say more clearly. Anyway, she took my order and gave me a 40 minute wait. 40 minutes later, we got in the car and drove ten minutes to Bertucci’s, where there was a long line at the take-out area. The woman at the register was wearing a yellow blouse and what looked like some kind of patterned grey pants. I remember this because she had big hair and a lot of eyeliner and everyone else working there was just wearing their restaurant polo shirt. I waited about 10 minutes and when I was second in line, someone opened up another register and asked for the next customer, which was me. A girl in a North Face jacket and her boyfriend, who had just walked in and weren’t even in the line yet, just walked up and got their pizza, and despite my protestations, no one kindly stopped them and asked to wait to their turn. Anyway, I got up to the first register with Yellow Blouse, and told her my name(and spelled it out) and she couldn’t find it in the system. She asked me if it could be under any other name, and I said No. There was no way it could be under another name because I was calling from my cell phone, not the home phone at the place I was dog-sitting at, so it’s not like they could get any other name. And I remembered I said my name twice on the phone AND spelled it. Anyway, Yellow Blouse asked for my number, and when I gave it to her, she looked at me with a sneer and a scoff and said«It’s under Thomas.» I didn’t say anything, but I felt like Yellow Blouse thought I was screwing with her, by playing some lame giving-Bertuccis-the-wrong-name prank. As she walked away, I looked at the fella and we both agreed that was so random and weird. How could anyone confuse«Ana» with«Thomas»?? Yellow Blouse returned with our pizza and the toppings it comes with and asked in a totally condescending way if I knew how to put the toppings on the pizza. Um… yes, I can put toppings on top of a pizza. I asked for some rolls, and she literally threw them on the counter, from about 3 feet away. It is the strangest thing to get attitude from the Bertucci’s take-out girl because she thinks you’re degrading the great honor of Bertucci’s by playing around with names. Especially when I’m paying 22 dollars for a pizza that has four ingredients, I prefer to get at least a smile or something, especially after waiting for over an hour after all was said and done. I work for a large(5000+ employees) corporate office and I make a lot of catering decisions and there is a reason we don’t order from Bertucci’s anymore. This was a great reminder of why.
