Clam Chowder was nice and savory. Lots of clams… I would definitely order it again…
Spinach and Artichoke dip was good. Give you a nice amount.
Arthur, the bartender was attentive.

Mediocre food and even worse was the service. Dined alone and took me over 10 minutes just to get a water. Waitress spent more time at the computer terminal then worrying about the needs of the customers. Completely forgot a meal for the diners at the table next to mine.

Me & my boyfriend came on a chilly Sunday night and we sat at the bar. Will N has to be the best bartender ive ever had. He was very attentive, funny, and made our experience more than enjoyable. Drinks are fun & food is good. Great atmosphere just steps from the beach. :)

This is a nice place ro relax, celebrate be in vacation mode, whatever you want to do. Very nice setting, second floor overlooking the resort pool, nice big bar overlooking the beach. Service is a bit slow. They all look pissed and in a rush. Maybe smaller sections might help with all the rush this place gets. Meanwhile managers are all over happily checking on everyone. Place has a great feeling, fun and dj keeps the ambiance going.

Great location, but the service was awful. The server was nice, but it wasn’t busy and it still took a very long time. Drinks that didn’t come. Food was super delayed. Menus left on the table. Appetizer plates left on the table. Instead of clearing the table they just piled the main dish onto the table. It has so much potential and it’s being totally shit away by poor management. It’s sad. I hope it gets better. Hollywood needs this to be successful.

First time here and… The expectations took a dive alright
Extremely disappointed of my experience here. And we came twice. Literally came the next day we first came.
Although, landshark is undeniably beautiful. Love the open restaurant vibe. Terrific location. Restaurant overlooking the stage below and the sea.
Extremely casual surfer beach vibe. Great view and place to have a beer and chill as the sea wind flips your hair in the face.
But everything is else in the place? Terrible.
Wait time? Service? Food time? Food taste? Horrible. Price was eeh okay.
I ordered the fried mahi sandwich with a side of fries. I was excited about eating it but couldn’t finish it because I wasn’t a fan. For some reason, the tar tar sauce or whatever sauce on that sandwich made it taste like I was eating a burger king sandwich.
The fish was huge but biting into it was incredibly dry. The fries were pretty good though.
The food almost took an hour to get to our table and the waitress took forever to check on us.
I was pretty set on writing a one star review of this place and the only reason I gave it one more star was because the very next day we visited, I tried their drink bahama mama.

This place has huge potential. But needs a lot to improve. I would definitely not come back here to eat but drink maybe.

Came here on a Saturday night on New Years weekend, so we expected to have everywhere in Margaritaville (and everywhere for that matter). Most of the waits were 2+ hours, which is what we were also quoted here. Sad face. Decided to keep our names on this list since it has the best breeze and ocean view even though it was night.
About an hour and 15 later we got a text saying that we were ready, so by 9:00 most of the tables must have cleared. Cool. Got a table in the back toward the stage and beach. Our waitress was as attentive as she could be given that the place was swamped, but as time went on it was apparent that the place was thinning out and she was going a little more MIA. For 4 people with 2 rounds of drinks and dinner we should have been done within an hour. Not even close.
Prices here aren’t outrageous. Also the food is relatively seafood heavy but it was pretty good. Had the seafood salad, mahi, and turkey club sandwich between the 4 of us (2 got the same thing) and all were pretty decent. I was a little taken aback by wine in a short plastic cup, could have had plastic stemmed glasses or something at a place called Margaritaville. But overall the ambience here is pretty decent.
Where this place loses a lot of points is the fact that there is a SINGLE STALL RESTROOM for a 250 – 300 capacity restaurant. The guys informed me that the men’s room was in complete disarray from someone not «aiming well» and the ladies room had paper towels EVERYWHERE. I was waiting behind two other people and of course on my way OUT I see that outside the restaurant in the courtyard area downstairs there is another larger public restroom. I guess this is where I would go, but come on, Landshark. Maintenance first even if you don’t have the space.
I would come back here but not on a super busy night-​maybe on a weeknight when it’s less trafficked and I feel like I could get better service.

Margaritaville had been open maybe a month and I had to get out of the house with my boys… 2 years old and not even 3 months just yet.
Land shark had just opened for the day so it was maybe 11am and I arrived to check everything out and have an inexpensive drink. Aka something besides water so I could hang out…
I sit down and the first words out of the waiters mouth (who was training someone) were «would you be interested in one of our cocktails or a rum runner?»
Uummm… dude, read the crowd!
Lol he was nice but definitely kept to his script, not deviating even if it was 11am and I had 2 little people who depend on me for their life!
The strawberry lemonade was good, the views are what you sit here for.
Others complain that its too corporate and not divey, the way the Broadwalk should be… well, unless you’re eating at Nicks Bar or Taco Beach Shack it’s better than other places on the beach.
You really don’t head to Hollywood beach for amazing food. You’re going for the view.

Extremely slow service. Food came out cold after waiting 45 minutes. Two of the three plates were sent back, fish sandwich and burger came out significantly undercooked. Unfortunate since we are all parrotheads, very disappointing.

Gorgeous view as this is on the 2^nd floor right on the beach! Drinks were cold and very good, The atmosphere is just as though you were on a Caribbean island! Our server was GREAT! Food was pretty good too, we enjoyed the Queso! Also had the Cuban sandwich!

This place is extremely corporate and shouldn’t be so gross. The place was FILTHY! Don’t even get me started on the bathrooms… Men and women’s… Trash over flowing baby diapers on the ground they were out of soap and paper towels and when I told the hostess she told me they were too busy to get any… GROSSSSSS 292 827 192 thumbs down! Once seated it took 15 min to take our order. The menu has like 10 options beer was warm. In conclusion: dirty, slow, terrible. Don’t waste your vacation dollars there are too many places on the boardwalk to eat at!

Well its been open only a month or so and the reputation here is that you don’t come for the food, but for the experience of Margaritaville. This is true for me, at least on this visit. That being said the food was decent enough to warrant additional trips, as it has a great view of the ocean, great sports bar feel, and clean. I do suggest to people who come here be wary of the somewhat higher pricing, considering the local competition. Also it was a bit loud for our visit, but still recommend to families with infants as they have an accessible elevator.

Horrible SLOW service… mediocre food… and a waitress who can’t figure a customers bill correctly after 3 attempts… but tourists love it… Still gets 3 stars for atmosphere, beach, pool, and surf rider…

We had so much fun walking down the boardwalk and watching the waves roll in. It had been a long time since we had enjoyed Hollywood Beach. The city has done a great job cleaning up the walk. We decided to try out the Landshark Bar & Grill. We lucked out and were seated by the pool under a mature palm tree. The music was Jimmy Buffet like and not too loud, so I had to actually carry on a conversation with my wife. The waitress took our drink order and we knew we had to have a Landshark beer. We ordered burgers and onion rings. The food came out fast and hot. Everything was really good! The only negative was a lack of parking but I think Hollywood is trying to fix that.

When my boyfriend told me that our friends wanted to meet up at Margaritaville in Hollywood for Sunday football I was pretty apprehensive. I almost didn’t go (though some of that had to do with just wanting to lay on the couch). I have been to a few different Margaritavilles and once you’ve been to one you’ve been to them all. The drinks are fun, and good, but pricey, and the food is pretty mediocre, aside from the nachos which are HUGE and pretty amazing. I wasn’t thrilled at the prospect of a Margaritaville on Hollywood beach because to me the fun of Hollywood beach is in the divey beach bars and the local flavor. Jimmy Buffet’s giant chain is not exactly local flavor, even if it does have most of the ingredients that make you think of beach life. Oh and the parking garage at the resort is three or four dollars an hour. I thought Hollywood was known for reasonable parking? Not when Jimmy Buffet is in town I guess.
I will say that this whole resort is impressive. Just walking around the perimeter I think I saw three pools, and at least that many bars. Everything is new and nicely kept, and the resort staff was friendly when we were looking for directions. We stopped and watched some kids playing of the surf waves and then headed up to LandShark Bar which is located upstairs near the main stage area on the Broadwalk. Despite being Sunday night football we were able to get a table for four immediately. There are plenty of televisions and if you are sitting in the covered bar area, you will definitely have a great view for whatever game you want to watch. I think the cloudy, slightly cool, and breezy night may have deterred some, but I could see this becoming a great spot to watch Sunday night football after a day at the beach.
Our waiter introduced himself and we looked over the drink menu. While the others in my party got the fun Jimmy Buffet themed specialty drinks, I stuck with wine. At $ 8 a glass or $ 32 a bottle there isn’t really incentive to spring for the bottle here. I was a little jealous of my friend’s shark tank drink when he found it had a gummy shark in the bottom. As for food the menu here focuses more on bar snacks and burgers and has fewer entrée choices than the full Margaritaville restaurant, but it is fitting for what this place is. I was trying to be somewhat diet friendly and went for the peel and eat shrimp. The food was delivered quickly and I think there were 10 – 12 shrimp in the order. They peeled easily and had a nice seasoning on the outside. Served over a bed of iceberg lettuce the presentation was nice. The cocktail sauce they were served with was heavy on the horseradish, which is fine with me because I hate ketchup, so the milder cocktail sauces don’t work for me. My boyfriend went with the chipotle burger, and though a little overcooked for what he had ordered it, he enjoyed it (I’ve always found the burgers at Margaritaville to be pretty good.) Served with a giant pickle (that I stole half of) and some standard fries (I stole a fry or two as well) it is a satisfying meal, if not anything innovative, decent bar bar food.
Our waiter here was friendly, and we were informed that he was in his last night of training, so the other waiter training him kept an eye on us too. It’s nice to know that they’re training their staff properly, especially since I’m sure this place will get quite busy now that snow bird and tourist season is gearing up.
So while I wasn’t blown away by anything here, I got exactly what I expected and the brand is consistent. Would I rather go to a divey beach bar where I can get the same type of food and beach drinks for quite a bit less? Yes. I don’t think I will pick LandShark over those other places if given the choice, but being set upstairs with an open view of the ocean waves and the resort pool, and given that everything is brand new and well kept, there is something to be said for the atmosphere, but you are paying for it per drink.

Landshark is one of the main restaurants at the new Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, and is situated on an upper level giving it beautiful views of the large tropical swimming pools, the ocean, the broadwalk and concert bandshell. There is also a huge surfing simulator right below the main deck. It is very pleasant up there, with the ocean breeze and live music that the hotel provides in the refinished bandshell, which has been on the beach forever. The service here the two times I’ve visited has been very good. If anything they are overstaffed. The food is good.. Somewhat dressed up beach grub. A lot of burgers, fish sandwiches, tator tots, pretzel dipping sticks with cheese sauce. The cuban sandwich was excellent. I wish they had some other, healthier choices but it’s pretty basic. The signature drink list is long, and the cocktails are delicious. All around I really enjoy Landshark and will continue to frequent it.

I wanted the so called «cheeseburger in paradise «…and it was almost there, but not all that… waiter was super duper friendly… menu and prices were reasonable. .seating outside was great… but OMG the drink prices were unbelievable! $! $!!! You couldn’t afford to get your drunk on there… my advice would be to have a few BEFORE you go there… have your 5 o’clock somewhere else!

Great location! Had Turkey Club and it was BIG. Feels like a brick in my stomach right now. My buddy got fish sandwich which was mahi and it was a nice sized filet for the location and price.
