«Sahara Special» large cheese pizza, French fries, 30 wings, and a pitcher of soda or beer all for only $ 43. You can’t beat that. The pizza and the wings are amazing. Definitely the best in the area.

unfortunately I recently put a post up about how good the pizza was I will not lie the pizza is ok for Florida. But that woman who owns it she is the most nastiest disgusting rude piece of crap that I have ever seen in my life she has for no one and nothing but herself so on that note take your pizza and shove it so far up your ass lady that you will be shitting cheese for the rest of your life because you are one disgusting woman as a woman I am ashamed of you some people just forget where they came from.

Well. What can I say its old Hollywood. Had a Gyro $ 9.75. It was good but light on the Lamb. I wasn’t thrilled w/the wine list but they let you go next door or where ever for that matter & cone back I. w/a glass that’s nice. When we got there after 2:00pm they didn’t even have the fans on. We had to ask them to turn them on, which they were surprised they weren’t hello it’s 90′ out. But we had a great time. We will be back. Long ride.

Have been to this spot a few times, and it really is a gem to the beach. I ordered the wings and each time they have been seasoned just right. every time I visit the customer service is on point. Had an opportunity to observe the humongous slides of pizza others were ordering looked mouth watering. I visit a few times a week as I like enjoying the beach and the sights.

Best pizza I’ve had in South Florida so far. The sauce is on point and it has that NY style crust with a crunch and chew that was perfection. They kind of hussle you to come in but I’m glad they did. $ 15 for large cheese pizza and pitcher of amberboch beer. Greek salad($ 9) wasn’t good at all and bottle of water was $ 2 or I would of gave it 5 stars. Will be back for sure!

Really good pizza! Service is sometimes a little slow. I’ve sat down and waited 15 – 20 mins for someone to come to the table. sometimes only 1 mins lol. The frozen drinks are good but def not worth money for alcohol ratio. I suggest beer here. Pizza is good, fresh and hot!

As we walked by Sahara’s we were met by an employee trying to get customers into the restaurant. The place had only one other table occupied at the time. We ordered one of their«famous» pineapple margaritas but it was not very flavorful. We ordered grape leaves, which were very tasty and fresh, We also ordered falafel which was over fried and very dry, the tahini sauce was fermented. The last item we ordered was a greek salad with gyro meat. A few bites into it we found a hair. We told the waiter what happened and he wasn’t overly anxious to help. We decided that we were going to leave so we asked for the check. The waiter brought the check and it included the salad. I had to ask to have the salad removed and they didn’t want to take it off but they finally did.

The gyro wasn’t even a decent try at Greek flavor. The tzatziki sauce was incredibly watery and the meat did not have much flavor the only reason I put two stars is because the waitress was very nice and kept checking and making sure I didn’t need anything.

This is the quintessential greasy pizza joint. We come from New England every year and specifically seek this place out several times during our trip. The service is great, the pizza is flat as hell and extremely tasty, the taps are clean, the frozen drinks are grand, and the view can’t be beat(you can throw a rock and hit the ocean). Further, it is cool even though it’s open air and approaching 90 out on the sand.

First of all let me say that the staff are #1. We liked them and felt they serviced us well. The food, on the other hand, was not so well liked by my family. We are a family of 4 and ordered Chicken slouvaki, Gyros on pita, chicken fingers and fries and my son got a cheese pizza. No refill on sodas. We bought a pitcher instead, which came full of ice, with 4 empty cups. It should have been 4 cups of ice with a full pitcher if soda. For $ 8 and no refills, this was not a good value. The Gyros and slouvaki were bellow average, the chicken fingers… Fine… The best part was the personal pizza my son ordered, that was great! Awesome in fact! So my final take was this… It’s really a pizza shop trying to steal business from the«real» Greek restaurant next door. 2 and ½ olives out of 5 for us… Oh and the meal was $ 72 after tip… Not a budget place to eat… Was really only worth like $ 50

Good place to visit. All I got was the wings and a soda. First the staff is enthusiastic to get you in the place. Which is good I guess. The wings ok. Not seasoned but crispy. The mild sauce was a winner mixed with the blue cheese. This will hold me till I am back in Jersey. Unless they delay my flight any more.

I went to this restaurant with two friends visiting from Mexico and my girlfriend. We are all 30+ years old and attempted to order a pitcher of beer with our veggie appetizer. The Lady managing the restaurant denied to serve beer to one of my friends after she showed her two different IDs. We decided to stay and eat. One person in our party decided to speak to the manager again. She got angry and told us in a menacing voice to leave and to cancel what we had ordered. As we were leaving we heard her scream to one of her employees that if we left he had to pay anything we ordered. This is no way to treat customers and much less employees. I will not go back to Sahara ever again.

Sahara International in one in a long tradition of hole-in-the-wall eateries in Florida. That’s the Florida I remember from decades past; the boardwalks, hotels beach shops and little restaurants offering a huge burger and a cold beer. The boardwalk in Hollywood, Florida, is lined with them and I picked Sahara after first walking in two other restaurants only to be ignored by staff. Not so much as a hello, boo, or have a seat. The people at Sahara asked if I would like to see a menu and offered to answer questions. I picked them solely because they made me feel welcome, the staff is exceptionally friendly and the view is fantastic. Sahara International is old and rusty but don’t let that put you off. Saltwater is hard on buildings here, eating away at metal, concrete and plaster like acid. Salt spray coats glass with a greasy film and fades plastic. You realize why, when man is gone, the ocean is going to reclaim the world. I had the gyro platter with a Greek salad. The portions were generous and the sandwich was excellent, although I had to eat some of the meat by hand because the sandwich was too fat to handle otherwise. You better like cheese if you get the Greek salad, mine was more like a feta cheese salad with a little lettuce thrown in. The dressing, sadly, was a tasteless vinegar and oil concoction in a squeeze bottle you had to hold your finger over the end to shake. I couldn’t help wondering how many fingers had been on top of that shaker bottle before me. Other than the salad dressing I can wholeheartedly recommend Sahara International on the beach in Hollywood. Good food that’s served up fast and they actually care you showed up.

The Greek salad and the wings were awesome! We would definitely order them again! Service was friendly and prompt. Best part is you can’t beat the view! The only small downfall is there is no liquor. Very limited beer and wine. Stop and try the salad:)

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The calamari looked alive and tasted squid jerky(wish I would’ve taken a pic). My friend found a hair in her Gyro. The Philly cheese steak and american cheese combination were awful and the diet coke and sprite were both flat. All in all it was an awful and way over priced eating experience. The only enjoyable part of this experience was that we were seated at a table with a view of the ocean and boardwalk. I think they should stick to pizza they gotten really good reviews for it.

Great place to people watch. You can hear the bands in the bandshell from here without having to deal with the crowd.. We ordered the pizza which was good for a tourist place on the beach. The pizza and pitcher of beer special is only $ 13.99 and easily feeds two people. It’s worth the wait to get a table out in front.
