I am usually very territorial when reviewing anything from New York. Chicago definitely does most foods way better. Pizza that is hearty (Deep Dish) or Pizza than folds over and tastes like cardboard? Not even a choice. I was pleasantly surprised at how astoundingly good the ice here was. I definitely ordered wrong though. NYI2K has at least 50 flavors to choose from. Figuring I was in SoFla, I went with the Pina Colada (that’s my favorite flavor on everything anyway). I sampled the apple pie flavor that was amazing. NYI2K is a great place for nostalgia and desert after a romantic dinner on the boardwalk or just to grab some desert with some friends. They also had a good selection of old school candy.
