Skateboard day! Stopped in on this chilly day for some ice cream and italian water ice.
Very friendly lady (owner?) attended us.
2 scoops of ice cream in a bowl only $ 3.50
I mixed Dulce de Leche and Banana. Banana alone was like Banana Candy (Runts to be specific) and i did not like it at all but once I scooped it up with a little Dulce de Leche is was delish!
We also had some italian water ice yummy too.
No bathroom… but theya serve food = they lose 1 point.

The owner is absolutely bat-​shit crazy and drinks on the job. But that aside, I want to review the place rather than the owner. The only thing she «makes homemade» are the fudge and the Italian ices, those in which are delivered in pre-​measured, pre-​mixed packages. She makes them weeks ahead of time so they aren’t as fresh as they sound. The chocolates come from a company in Penn. and are sold at rates that are unbelievable. She hardly keeps to code about the cleanliness of the place and is consistently trying to cheat the customer by inflating the prices and shorting the scoops. The hand-​packaged candy and taffy are also over-​priced and uncleanly packaged. Nothing in the window glasses go in at night so they just sit there to be left to god knows what, bugs? I don’t trust this place and neither should anyone.

This sweet shop is a hidden gem. The Italian ice is better than Rosie’s in flavor and smooth consistency. The orange really suprised me in that it tasted like a real orange and not orange soda. The lemon was tart, sweet and the best to beat the heat. I got a pound of taffy too. This is better quality salt water taffy that is made in Atlantic City. I’ve had their slices of cake before and it was fresh and delicious. They do so much variety while still keeping items fresh. Try this next time you are at Hollywood Beach.

My family stopped in and enjoyed some delicious gelatini’s made with her yummy italian water ice. We also got the homemade key lime fudge. It taste just like pie. The owner was very sweet and helpful.

I’d like to review both the products and the owner. I’m Italian, and these ice creams are not even worth the name, simple. You can tell there is nothing freshly made about them, they are overpriced and the place is not kept as tidy and clean as a food place should be; pretty nasty, actually.
Plus, the owner is absolutely rude and seemed pretty off…
I will never go back to this place, and I advise anyone else to do the same.

They had about 15 different flavors of wondrous icecream also they let you try whatever you want. I’m sure there are cheaper places on the block but the sizes you get are amazing and you can get multiple flavors tottaly recommend this place

Great owner and sweets galore. Really enjoyed the almond toffee crunch as well as the Italian ice.
