Great environment. Love the energy. Oysters were good. Beer was cheap at 9pm on a Friday night.

This place is with out a doubt a dive bar. The décor is dive bar esc with Minnie surf boards in the wall. I met up up with some friends there in a Friday night and the place was probably at 90% occupancy. The crowd was a pretty good mix of people all having fun. The bar is located on in the boardwalk which I love.
I had a dirty martini that was pretty good and a mojito served in a clear plastic cup that again was pretty good. They also have a pretty good selection of beers as well. So I did learn something– just because a place is a dive bar, doesn’t mean that they don’t make good drinks. I was pleasantly surprised. Now for the food. I kept it simple, ordering the fried calamari. Pretty standard, I give it a 3.5 out of 5. My comrades ordered raw oysters(3.0 out of 5). Oysters only came with lemon and cocktail sauce. The service was good. Our server regularly checked in on us and never let our drinks run dry. I have saved the best for last. There live music was a two person band that was incredible, consisting of a West Indian man and a Latin Woman. They played everything from BoB Marley, Gloria Estefan, Journey to even a little country. They work the bar and get people involved. The small dance floor was crowded. Will revisit when I’m in that neck of the woods again.

Great place to go for live entertainment and dancing to karaōke music. Friendly bar staff. Open late. Food is just okay.

I just wandered in from the beach. Very friendly. Cobb salad — chicken was cold and obviously pre-made and I really wanted hot steamy fresh chicken. Salad dressing is just in packets. But it was a large, fresh salad, it was great. I also got a side of steamed broccoli and for some reason it was heavenly, served with gobs of garlic. Overall a great little dive bar.

Very average place. My mom ordered a Caesar salad which turned out to be a very plain and mediocre. The fried food that we ordered was good, but it’s hard to mess up fried food. Cocktails were good but very expensive for the quantity you get. Definitely better off spending money somewhere else.

Waitress made it obvious she didn’t want to sit a table with a kid. So this review is not based on food, sadly since my whole was ready to eat and willing to wait.

What an awesome place in a perfect area with so much to do and see! !! Located right on hollywood beach next to Margaritaville hollywood beach resort! !! This bar is popping. The place was more then packed but everyone was on the dance floor and singing live with the band. They played everything from old to new to in between music, I loved every minute of it. The bar from the outside in is a unique place compared to the other venues. This place is made from complete wood and just varnished to perfection. The drinks were nice and cold and the food was great, I wanted to order so many things but realized I really don’t need to add any more extra pounds. So we ordered a dozen raw oysters, some beers, conch fritters and my love ordered a blackened fish sandwich, which he gobbled and didn’t even share or allow me to take a pic of. Still after all that eating we stayed and danced and sang with the crowd, it was 3am when we decided to leave but this place was still going, if it wasn’t for the far drive ahead we would’ve definitely shut this place down!

Average at best. We ordered seafood, the shrimp was so fishy and actually slimy. I believe it was not fresh and was on the verge of being spoiled. Conch fritters were ok but couldn’t even taste the conch. Then I ordered lobster which was over cooked. Mahi mahi was decent. Oysters were so small and barely any flavor. Should have just got a burger. We did have a great waiter who provided excellent service.

Love this place, it covers all the aspects of a good time, from their amazing staff, to the delicious food, and great drink specials this place is fit for every occasion, from girls night with karaōke, to dates with good music and dancing, to family lunch or dinner, right on Hollywood beach, by Johnson street, I like to give a special shout out to our waitress Lorraine. She is fantastic, super friendly, and very accommodating, i wasn’t sure what to get, and she made great recommendations, the fried calimar and the jalapeño poppers are amazing appetizers, their chunk wings… Soooo goood, i will definitely be coming back

I went with my brother and some friends here to watch the Patriots football game one night. The owners are from Boston, so it is a Pats friendly environment. It is a very small place right along the beach. There are a few tables outside, some indoors facing the beach, a bar, and a few tables in the back. I have eaten here for lunch once before. I sat inside facing the beach, it was a hot day but the ocean breeze was beautiful and made it comfortable. I ordered the conch fritters which were good. Nothing special or different from any other restaurant but they did not disappoint. My friend ordered a lobster sandwich and it was very big and looked delicious. On the night of the Patriots game we went straight to the bar. The bartender was very friendly and on-top of everything. The pina coladas are amazing, even though it is a «Boston» bar they were top-notch. You could feel a nice ocean breeze at the bar from the beach, it was an enjoyable environment. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere oceanside with good food.

The view is amazing. It’s directly on the boardwalk. Service was great. Ordered the Shrimp Jammers, New England calm chowder, Atlantic Salmon and Fried Oyster Po’ Boy all were superb. Ordered a frozen Dirty Banana and Strawberry Lemonade and they were the bomb! The Po’Boy sandwhich was huge and so was the calm chowder. Amazing food.

When my gf and I showed up we had to get a waiter to dry our table since it just rained no one approached us or said hi. I asked if we can bring our drinks that we just purchased somewhere else but not to worry that we do plan on eating here we just wanted to make sure it wouldn’t be an issue. He leaves another waiter comes and ask if we are going to order and I answer yes and that we were allowed to bring this drink in and while I was still talking she turns around and walks away. So being as patient as I am I waited and then another server comes up to us, does not say hi, or welcomes us he just asked what’s my order going to be which is a sign of pending bad service, at least greet yourself. I ask about the oyster price since its market place. And I ask how big they are, he literally shrugs and says Idunnoe. So I tell him give me a minute to look at the menu and he says«Well if you’re not going to order were going to need the table, we need to make business, it’s not personal but we need to do business» I stare at him and I ask for a manager and he just stands there confused, so I slightly move forward and repeat and he says I’m the night manager, and I look at him with a face of disbelief, it then begins to rain again so we took it as a Sign, he rushes us in and then my gf and I decide to just leave even though it was raining. We went next to Sahara Pizza which we’ve been to before and it’s never disappointed. I’m going to go back and talk to management I’d love to try their food but as of now they have bad service and left a horrible impression. Idk how the reviews here say service is good. We had an encounter with 4 employees and non were pleasant. The guy had a Russian accent.

This is a teeny tiny little bar on the Hollywood Boardwalk that is crowded and hot. It’s definitely a dive bar. Not a place to take a first date(unlike the couple that was sitting next to us that was clearly a blind first date-although that was entertaining to watch!). You can’t hear anything that is being said to you 3 feet away due to the tone deaf karaōke that is being sung, so make sure to slosh down cheap beers and margs(the plus of this place!). Our waitress was nice enough, but she did go MIA for a while. We ordered some drinks and some cocktail shrimp, and when we were looking for the check to get out of there magically it was impossible to find her; if we were shady we could have wiggled out the front door-we had the table 4 feet from the entrance. She was gone that long. I think next time rather than getting actual table service I would be more inclined to sit at the actual bar and not have to worry about a waitress potentially in the back smoking or texting her boyfriend. At least there wasn’t an autograt, there’s nothing more annoying to me than autotips on a table of 2. I also wasn’t impressed by the fact that when I went into the restroom, there were paper towels spilling ALLOVER the floor. They clearly need to have a little bit more maintenance in this department, I get that you probably don’t have a full time janitor, but have a barback or somebody check every once in a while. It shows that cleanliness isn’t a top priority at the bar and it’s definitely one of mine. There was a good crowd this day(trying to remember when, but I’m fairly certain it was a Saturday) and we had no issue getting seated right away which is pretty good given that it is such a small spot. I didn’t get margaritas but it looked like this was a large portion of the drinks that were going out(there was a vat of frozen margs behind the bar that looked like the Icee machine at the ballpark). I will come here again more than likely but maybe on a quieter night(sans karaōke!) when the restroom is hopefully clean, and sit at the bar where I can order drinks directly and maybe Nick will have the opportunity to earn back a star.

This place has pretty slow service, honestly it is basically the worst service. Slow whether you are a hot guy or girl. No one gets attention here. But that is it for cons. The boneless chicken is phenomenal. Try it with the sauces! Any of them! Yumm! The onion rings and fries too are delicious! Ah! And the drinks are wicked tasty without skimping on the booze. The Key West Lemonade is great, so was the banana frozen drink my boyfriend bought called a Dirty Banana, it is great with and without the cruzan floater for a $ 1. If you can stand a long wait, go here. Chat, chill, and eat the boneless chicken! If they paid more attention, this place would get 10 stars.

Perhaps the best bar and restaurant on Hollywood beach. Super laid back place right on The Boardwalk. I have been a few times in the past month and always enjoy the dining and beach view experience. On seperate occassions, I ordered a hamburger with bacon and boneless wings… both awesome. My friend loved her tuna salad sandwich. The fries here are of the large wedge cut variety… tasty! Drinks here are a tad weak but not bad for beach pricing. The drink Pain Killer was a nice selection at around a $ 9 price tag. A bit divey yes, and a bit cramped and crowded. But definitely still the place of choice on The Hollywood Boardwalk. Few other nearby beach restaurants can offer what Nick’s bring to the table. Good service, good drinks/food, good chill atmosphere, and a primo people watching location on the beach!

Nicks is a happening oceanfront eatery on Hollywood boardwalk. Russell is making up for working on my birthday and missing the party so tonight is my birthday dinner with my sweetiee!!! We ordered calamari that came out way over cooked. Russell is complaining about his drink. and…we wanted fried clams. out of them. ummm…let’s hope my oyster po boy and Russell’s grilled chicken ceaser is better than the over cooked calamari. the calamari tasted like I kissed the deep fryer. yuck the oysters were horrible.2 tasted bad and Russell’s chicken on his salad was dry. the manager came over and removed everything off our bill. The only good thing was my mojito. I only recommend this dive for drinks not food.

You can not go wrong at Nick’s. The food is fantastic and I’ve had several menu items. Casual rules. Eat king crab at 10am, they don’t give a shit, they just want you happy! Great prices and cold beer, good music & plenty of TV’s for the sports nuts. Staff is funny and good under pressure. Don’t just take my word, get your ass in there and write a review yourself! !
