Hair Cuttery

Called this week and was able to get an appointment with the stylist recommended to me within 7 days which impressed me to begin with. Tiffany was my stylist and she did an amazing job with my color and really listened to what I wanted cut wise. I feel like hairdressers sometimes get overzealous with haircuts when you only want w baby trim, but Tiffany was great, took off the bare minimum to keep my hair looking healthy and the prices can’t be beat! Very satisfied and will definitely keep coming back!

I have been growing out my hair for two years in order to donate it to Locks of Love. It was my first time coming to this Hair Cuttery since moving to Homestead. I am really the least pickiest person when it comes to my hair. I am very low maintenance but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The stylist was super sweet and assured me that I had nothing to worry about. She made suggestions and I let her take the lead. She measured my hair out to 12 inches and cut the pony tail off. I must admit I was a little scared but I am so glad that she knew exactly what she was doing… she suggested a sidebang which is so unlike me but I took her advice and I dont regret it! I am so happy with the results and suggest her to all. Her name is Dayami… super sweet and friendly! 5 stars for knowledge, service and professionalism!

I needed a haircut so bad! And I didn’t know where to go, so I came in to Hair Cuttery and Now I’m super happy! The staff is super nice and professional, I love it and I highly recommend this place! :)

Not at all impressed! Went in to have a consult at the Waterstone location. When I walked in I felt as if vultures were attacking me. Finally someone gave me a consultation and was looking at my hair and said that my Hair was «GREEN», and that I needed color and some treatment to remove the green! I said Yea ok, I’ll be back! I immediately went to a friend of mine all the way in Coral Gables, and she told me that the girl at the Hair cuttery was trying to rip me off and try to sell me some service that I really didn;t need! She is a professional Hairdresser for 35 years! She said that my hair was not green as other professionals confirmed that worked there as well. How sad that someone would try to rip someone off just to make a buck! My friend and the other professionals confirmed that my hair was in great shape and that all I needed was a refersher, not an array of services like the Hair Cuttery suggested! Be careful where you go, always get a second and thrird opinion! I knew that my friend wouldn’t lie to me!

It’s not vidal sassoon or Aveda, but this is the place I got to, at least in the interim, to basically un-​F what I’ve F’d up. So, thank you haircuttery, for being my go to when I’ve played one too many science projects with my hair. I like Sara, she does a great job fixing my chemical disasters a and getting me back on point. I just wish that you could book appointments here.

I wish I never walked in here. Horrible haircut and they charged me more than Peter of London did. These people really don’t know what they’re doing, worst haircut I ever got and its not fixable till it grows. They charged me $ 65 for a $ 25 service and looking at the receipt, the charges were extra. Forget about a proper consultation. I asked for side bangs and she gave me the thickest, ugliest blunt bangs I’ve ever had. She also said shed only cut an inch off the back, but she cut three. And zero texturization. I could have done a better job myself. The worst part was she kept LAUGHING at me at the end, saying I looked Chinese. Very ignorant. I’m actually Japanese, but thanks!

Hair Cuttery
I visit Hair Cuttery at Oasis Plaza in Homestead FL at least 4 times per month. I am very satisfied with the stylists but the manager Debbie is very rude. She always tries to overcharge me for services I have done, for example, she charges me for having «curly hair» she says its a store policy which I’ve never seen posted anywhere in the store, I think she is very racist and tries to make her commission on loyal customers like myself. If it wasn’t because I like how the stylists work, I’d never go back there or recommend anyone.

I went there on a Friday morning March 29^th 2013 to have my hair blown dry. Everyone was nice but when the manager came at about 10am, you can feel the employees walking on egg shells. She was upset because of an error in an appointment made for her. Unfortunately, while she was on the phone with the customer, she had NO problem letting everyone hear what she was saying, (as well as all the customers there), how inept her employees were. She had absolutely no tact what so ever. It was so bad I wanted to get out of there ASAP and the lady who did my hair apologized to me for her manager’s actions and attitude. I will not be going there again because it was way too uncomfortable of an atmosphere
