Bonacasa’s New York Style

This place is now closed but I have had so many memories here. Being a stones throw from high school, we would go here senior year for lunch many many times!
The best menu item was the Cuban sandwich. Let me paint this picture for you. Imagine juicy pulled pork slow cooked for hours that melts in your mouth. The salty goodness combined with some fresh sliced ham and topped with a healthy cut of swiss cheese, crinkle cut pickles (not those cheapo straight cut ones), yellow mustard on crusty pressed french bread.
This sandwich is what dreams are made of. I would sit in car thoroughly enjoying my sandwich, french bread crumbs flying everywhere. Lost in pure sandwich ecstasy, this footlong hot sandwich was more than enough food.
