We’ve been to this location several times and always have good service and delicious food. The omelettes are the best. Scott is great should you have the opportunity to have him as your server.

Eggs and things is a great place for breakfast, I happened to go in this morning and try their newest special«chicken mango sausage» and scrambled eggs with an upgraded strawberry pancake set. Needless to say, it was a lot of food for me, but I enjoyed every minute. The eggs came out cooked just right and the sausage was really damn good. The pancakes did have way too much whipped cream on it which feels like a bit of a waste but it was an easy thing to push to the side. To top off the pancakes they had guava, coconut, and regular syrup which was

I’m normally put off by restaurants with 1000+ reviews from tourists. I often wonder if the ratings are given for the novelty rather than the quality of the food. But I have to say that I’ve been to Eggs n’ Things several times and I have admittedly enjoyed it each time. I wish I could complain that the food didn’t taste as good as it looked in the pictures but it does. I wish I could say the service didn’t meet the quality of the food but it did. Their pancakes are AMAZING and you can’t go wrong with any of their selections. Their savory breakfasts like their pork chops hit the spot when you’re craving for some protein in the morning. When you’re fat kids like us and can’t decide between a sweet or savory breakfast, get both and you will feel complete until dinner. My only gripe is the wait but it’s really not the end of the world because you can peruse their little gift shop while you wait. Time goes by fast when studying their menu and browsing their gift shop.

Two adults and a baby ate breakfast here for $ 50! To make things worse, the food was not good. We all finished less than half our plates and I had a stomachache the rest of the day. Probably won’t be back but we should have known better.

The Caucasian guy at the front with the glasses was the rudest and weirdest guy I ever encountered. He really should not be the hostess at the front. I’m from SF on vacation here in Hawaii and I came to hook up with my cousins for breakfast and they ordered me food ahead of time and saved me a seat. When I walked in the Caucasian hostess asked if I needed help and I said yes I’m meeting my cousins here for breakfast they told me just to go up the stairs and he said oh no I’m sorry there’s no room would you like to have a seat for 1 and I said NO I’d like you to just show me where the stairs are so I can sit with my family and he then asked the name of my cousin and so he asked me to wait while he went upstairs to see if there was room. Ten minutes later he comes down and said oh ma’am come up the stairs your food is getting cold. I just shook my head like«what a DUMBASS they have working here. I go upstairs and I see my cousins at the table which they saved a seat for me and my food was already there. The waitress came and apologized to me for that guy not knowing what he was doing. Why do you have workers like that working at the front? I felt like slapping that guy. All in all I give a star for the food my vegetarian omelette was good and the 2nd star for the waitress who was nice. Would I come back? As long as that guy still works there I will not be coming back and will not recommend this place to my friends just because first impressions do count and he made a bad impression

We came here twice during our trip. We loved it! The wait both times for two was under 10 minutes during prime breakfast time. The Hawaiian loco moco is to die for! And their pancakes are enough for two people to split!

I’ve heard good things about this place but unfortunately the host downstairs has a little too much I hate the world attitude instead of the aloha spirit you hear so much about. The wait was tolerable but the with the host acting that way we decided to try some place instead.

Several of the staff here were very rude. They sat us behind this wall so no one saw us when we wanted to order or ask for something. When we peek over to get their attention, they just ignore us even when they saw us. One time we waved our hands and got the attention of one of the guy, he just simply told us to wait but never came by. We were on the verge of leaving before our server came by. He was the only nice person there. Food was overrated. Tasted like what Denny’s breakfast would taste like. URGH.

This place is super cute and has breakfast all day. We went there on a Saturday night and didn’t have to wait for more than 5 minutes. The staff are bilingual and spoke both English and Japanese. They were friendly and gave us suggestions as to what they liked off the menu. Not sure how to crust your ahi tuna steak? The suggestion we were given was furikake and macadamia, and it was super tasty with the wasabi aioli dipping sauce. We also got the plantation pork chop, and that was really well done. Pork chops can get pretty dry, but this one was good and stayed moist and tender, probably also due to the pineapple juice it was soaked in! The pork chop came with a slice of grilled pineapple on top, and my only complaint is that there wasn’t enough grilled pineapple! We also got a stack of pancakes on the side and while they were just okay, OMG the coconut syrup. The guava one was good too, but I could literally drink the syrup, it was that good. Too bad it’s full of HFCS, but it’s mega tasty. The gift shop downstairs was okay and a bit gimmicky.

This place is great for breskfast. Sometimes there can be a line as you are in the heart of the Tourist trap. Macadamia nut pancakes are different from Boots n Kimo. they are good. but I like any kind of pancake as long as they are hot with melted butter on them. Good old fashion diner coffee. Geat Service, the staff know how to work tables. A good breakfast experience

So we happened to stumble across this for breakfast. Talk about a happy accident! We were greeted immediately. They will give you a pager to make your way up the the second floor dining area. Since we were there early, it wasn’t very busy yet and our pager went off quickly. Our waiter was awesome. So polite and helpful. Our drinks were filled often and with a smile. I ordered the spinach, bacon and cheese omelet. I comes with a short stack but you can upgrade the type of pancakes you’d like. Of course I had to order the macadamia nut pancakes. The omelet was delicious. Served with a side of salsa to give it a little kick. The pancakes? Fricken awesome! To top them off they have maple syrup, guava syrup and coconut syrup at every table. It was my first time having coconut syrup. Delicious! Went perfectly with the macadamia nuts of course! I would come back here every morning if I could. Mahalo!

Stumbled onto this place. Don’t let the lower level check-in and store front deter you. The main part is upstairs and we were seated in less than 5 minutes. I’m not one to seek out gluten free or healthy food but the veggie egg white scramble looked great on the menu. It was awesome. Attentive service and a wide variety on the menu to choose from. Open air seating and relaxed atmosphere. Beats hotel food and with reasonable prices. Everyone was friendly and bustling busy without making you feel rushed. Off the main drag and very unassuming… A hidden gem in paradise. If you’re visiting this is a great place to start the day.

Service was friendly, the guy downstairs that took our name was super funny. We enjoyed the food and service every much and came back two days in a row. Pancakes were so moost and fluffy. We think the whip cream taste better than cool whip. We love the coconut syrup with it! The zucchini in my veggie omelet was too crunchy for me but otherwise the pepper jack cheese the in omelet gave it a good kick. I was trying to be healthy for one meal, getting the veggie omelet.

When you’re in Waikiki and you’re looking for breakfast or lunch or have that hankering for eggs why go anywhere else? Make sure to stop here during your stay or if your local make sure you get there every now and then. I love their Eggs Benedict and Crab Cakes Benedict and I highly recommend both of these. Come hungry because they serve you a large amount of food and a lot of the plates can come with a side of pancakes if you wish to get that, they also can come with a side of potatoes which are amazing. They also have a good selection of fresh juices that you can’t find most places in Waikiki. You will probably have to wait but it won’t be that long and you can walk around their store which is adjacent while you’re waiting. The location is ideal on Saratoga road which is on the side right where the strip on Kalakaua starts.

While in Oahu, Waikiki, we stopped at this little(small establishment) joint and decided to give them a try. It’s located off of a main street, across from a park, and is along the local bus route. The exterior is very reserve but works for such a place on a remote island. There were also a few weird smells that were in the air but weren’t too overwhelming. Being that I wasn’t too fond of the menu choices, I ordered the ham and cheese omelet. I was trying to play it safe like when you order wings at a new spot. To my surprise, my order tasted better than it looked. The eggs could have used used some salt and pepper while cooking but the meal was still more than filling. The pancakes were delicious!(I stole a bite or two from my girlfriend’s plate). I would recommend stopping by if in the area. I for one, love local eateries that are unique and not the popular commercial brands that take away from a places culture.

I heard great things about this joint, especially from the original restaurant at Waikiki Came here on a rainy Thursday morning. This place is a small shack, I would not recommend for claustrophobic people! Had to check in on the first floor to get seated upstairs. Took about 10 minutes. Once we got up — omg this place was packed, but tiny tiny tiny!!! Guest were almost sitting elbow to elbow, and we were seated at the table stuck to the end of the wall and there was a chair awkwardly stuck to a 2 seater table… We were all cramped –_– I ordered the banana crêpe which was good, lots of bananas and good texture but overall it wasn’t much(just slices of bananas inside a rolled crêpe) The omelette was very unique, it was light but I prefer the American version better. I ordered the fruit bowl as well, and was disappointed — fruit pieces were not fresh and sweet… I thought how was this possible in a place where fresh fruit is everywhere?!? It’s a decent joint, but not for people looking to eat comfortably and are busy to get from point A to point B

Le service est rapide, il est dommage que le restaurant ferme entre 14h et 16h… Allez-y ça vaut le coup!

I first tried Eggs N Things in Japan(Enoshima, Odaiba, and Harajuku locations). So, I just had to try the restaurant here on paradise island… where it originated from. On a Tuesday morning around 11:30am, the line to wait wasn’t bad at all. Probably 10-mins or so. They provide you with a buzzer, and once it buzzes you just head directly upstairs for seating. We were hoping to get balcony seating but ended up near the register. It wasn’t an ocean view anyway(more like the Post Office and tourist buses), but the idea was nice. It took about 10-mins before our order was taken, but delivery of our food seemed much faster. Our waitress was pretty cool. An older but more wise one, explained the menu and checked up on us every now and then. My son typically likes to make a few tweaks to his meal, so she was patient and repeated his order back to him: Chocolate chip pancakes topped off with more chocolate chips and bananas. And of course it was topped off with a sh*t-ton of whipped cream. I chose to order Eggs Benedict Florentine. The BEST I’ve had on the island so far(in comparison to Yummy’s and Pancakes & Waffles). Everything was made to perfection. I just wish I had more room in my belly to finish it because it came with a side of pancakes!

Eggs ‘n Things is to Hawaii AS Wings n’ Things is to California. Ummm, not quite! The Hawaiians do it bigger and better than us. Eggs in the food, check. Cartoon egg logo and cute photo-ops, check. The1st floor of the restaurant is dedicated to «egg» souvenirs, check check check. 1st floor(right side): Souvenir shop 1st floor(left side): Smoothies, drinks and a quick bite to eat. 2nd floor: The restaurant! The perfect tropical Hawaiian vibe! Felt like we were dining in a tree house with the birds flying and chirping on the balcony. The slightly humid weather meshed w/the sea breeze. Very relaxing. **THEFOODGIST** ISLANDSTYLEFRIEDRICE&EGG($ 11.45): Dude, this fried rice had almost everything you could imagine that existed on the island. Bok choy, bean sprouts, fish cake, green onions, Canadian bacon, Portuguese sausage, spam, ham, eggs, carrots… the whole nine yards with a fried egg plopped on top. A CRAZY dish and a bit too much at first. But, after a few bites I was hooked. Couldn’t put my fork down. Nicely seasoned w/good texture on the rice. Enough to share with 2 ppl. PORTUGUESESAUSAGE&EGGS($ 9.95): can’t go to Hawaii and not have Portuguese sausage and banana pancakes, it’s a must. Especially for the hubs. His meal came w/sausage, rice(or potatoes), 2 fresh eggs cooked HIS way(scrambled) and we upgraded from buttermilk pancakes to BANANA pancakes. Gotta make Jack Johnson proud :). Savory sausage along w/sweet fluffy pancakes drizzled w/their signature coconut syrup, we were in heaven. Comfort food at its best. Had to get some fresh PAPAYA(kiddo begged), which was pretty darn expensive since it is an island grown fruit(something like $ 5 for ½). Wasn’t even that sweet. GUAVA, PINEAPPLE, PAPAYADRINK: refreshing, tangy tropical juice! Eggs ‘n Things offered good food with a cool ambiance. A bit on the pricey side since it was more commercialized. We did our touristy thing, now off to look for some hidden gems. TIDBITS: 1) About 1.5 blocks from the beach 2) Expect to wait during peak hours 3) KID friendly 4) Clean bathrooms p. s. I couldn’t resist and bought a bottle of coconut syrup for home. So GOOD!
