I was seated with my boyfriend and for a long time no one, I mean NOONE even looked our way. We sat here with our menu that was given to us when we were seated in the beginning set aside and kept looking to see if we could try get a server’s attention. No luck. They even averted our eyes. Wtf. First time here and I hated it already. Good food though but that’s pretty much it.

So We chose IHOP because it was raining and close to our hotel. Yes I know there are plenty of great restaurants in Waikiki, but it was about being hungry and staying dry. When we walked in our hostess Holly and the crew greeted us with a warm smile and Aloha we were then promptly seated(by a window), our server was amazing and is the reason I’m giving 5 starts. She was very friendly, prompt and didn’t mind answering questions… Jazzminn made our rainy day breakfast warm and enjoyable. And the food of course great as always. We will definitely be going back before we leave the island…

Very very poor service. We sat at our table for over 30 minutes without a single waiter coming by to take our order. Absolutely awful to feel completely ignored as the customer.

I really like iHop. I come here often, which is why I can overlook certain things like the occasional dirty knives and forks. For the most part, the servers are generally pretty nice. Today, I asked to move sections because my server decided to argue with me about the consistency of medium versus over easy eggs. I simply said«egg over medium, not runny. She began a condescending description of cooked eggs. I asked her to simply forget the egg. She retorted«So you’re not ordering!?» I said«yes, just forget the egg.» She then walked away and didn’t return. Quick fix: floor manager was able to accommodate my request to move and I was able to enjoy my dining experience, sans the eggs. Thanks.

Nice spot in the Ohana Waikiki Hotel within easy walking distance of where we are staying. Nalua greeted us at the door with a «Mahalo for coming to IHOP» and we were seated promptly. Service was quick and even tho the place was pretty full with tourists, our server Jazzmin was prompt and friendly(tho she could have smiled a bit more). The food was as expected, good but nothing spectacular. Might wanna try their seasonal specials next time.

I have been on many food adventures during my stay here in Waikiki… but sometimes after trying all of these new foods you want to revert back to what you know and it was closer. IHOP was that place. I started my stay here and had some dinner there on my first night here(on a Wednesday). You would figure a chain restaurant would taste the same everywhere, WRONG. I have visited many states and there has always been an IHOP to comfort my food needs when I didn’t know where to go dine. But this is the worst IHOP I have ever been too. They are worse than a Waffle House located next door to a Walmart. The service was terrible. 1st Wednesday: The waitress(all of the staff really) would disappear randomly. My bacon was still raw. The hash browns obviously barely touched the pan but we’re mush due to the excess use of grease. My standard side of pancakes was the best part of the meal which is where the one star rating came from. 2nd Wednesday: I wanted to give this spot another chance. Surely I just had came on a night when the hostess, waitress, and entire kitchen staff was not on their«A» Game, NOPE. To insure my meal was actually cooked this time I asked for my hash browns to be cooked a little longer. Lort Jebus I should not have done that. My scrambled eggs were like grease sponges. The has browns looked like the 10 cent pack Ramen Noodles just with more of a tree bark color. I don’t know if the cook was trying to be cocky since I wanted my food cooked(what human want’s that right!) Then my little sausages were room temperature on the sides and slightly cooler in the middle. I can even microwave a sausage if that’s what they tried doing. This location needs a lot of help and a lot of training.

I have eaten at many IHOP restaurants, and this one by far is the worst one yet. I have been in Hawaii for a year, so I wanted something we ate at back home. We went to this location twice to give them the benefit of the doubt. The first time I am suprised we did not get sick from the undercooked bacon and super greasy undercooked hashbrowns. The second time I asked for well done… well I got it. My fiancé had to get her knife out to cut the hashbrowns and barely cut two bites out. The bacon was ok this time… cooked but not crispy. My fiancé wanted creamer for her coffee, which came in a dirty looking cup. Service the first time sucked, but the second time was pretty good. If you go… I suggest the crepes or French toast… nothing else.

This is iHop, not some fancy restaurant, but for what it is, I love the atmosphere it provides for me for those late nights spent finishing reports or practicing speeches. The food is food. It keeps me full while my brain works. The one thing I love about this place is that one auntie(who calls herself auntie) who is always working the late-night shift. She is so energetic and caring. I usually eat something and stay for hours sipping on my coffee, and this auntie will come around to check up on me, fill my cup, and refill my coffee pot, even after I paid my bill.

I would have given them 5 stars except the prices are ridiculous! The staff is always friendly, courteous and fast. The food is normally fresh, hot and tasty. I don’t recommend the oatmeal because it was cold when it got to the table, that’s what I get for ordering oatmeal at ihop. If you’re in the mood for a hot & delicious breakfast and don’t mind paying a little more than usual for breakfast this is a great place.

The toast bread is burnt. Service is good but they take forever. All we need is the check now but they’re taking forever to generate it. This location needs more worker because it’s busy!!!

4 mostly because of the employee named Jordan who profusely apologized & did everything to fix a mix up. My server mixed up the order and that’s understandable considering this place is open 24hrs. The burgers are small and pancaky but oh those onion rings! Wowzers they’re good! Jordan is also good :)

Not worth coming here. Service sucks Food portions were awful. Three of the choices of food entrees I wanted were out of stock or still getting made. I was there at 8 am and they didn’t have anything available ?? We ordered with our host got our food from our server and got the tab right in the middle of eating. This is by far the most unprofessional restaurant I have ever been in.

BEDBUGS4÷8÷2015! Food little under average for an IHOP. But got bitten by bed bugs there. Showed them the actual bugs with my Keychain light. No comp to the meal, but I just wanted to get out of there. I was in the first window booth on the left as you enter. DONTSITTHERE! The staff did prevent the next party entering from sitting there. So not downing the staff, but dang bed bugs at a restaurant… Hope I’m not bringing something home besides leftovers.

This IHOP is situated on the bottom level of the Ohana Malia hotel, by Rivals. Where do I even begin with this place … We came here because my prima had just gotten her tattoo done and we both wanted breakfast for dinner … it was closer for us at the time. Once we stepped into the place, I’m reminded of why I disliked this location so much . The cashier area was filled with Japanese tourist trying to pay their tab. One cashier behind that counter. and she took her sweet ass time. Red flag #1: The hostess … Non-existent … a couple that came in before us had to stand by the front tables to actually get someone to notice that there were people waiting. We followed suit. Now … looking in the restaurant, we noticed that the place wasn’t even busy … empty tables everywhere. Red flag #2: Anyway, the hostess finally sits us down and tells us that our waitress will be with us shortly to get our drinks. But, seconds later she comes back and tells us never mind she’ll get them for us(?). she looked a little overwhelmed. I don’t know why with the place being almost empty. Red flag #3: Our waitress comes … finally … but not to our table. nope. She went to the table of these tourist that came in way after us and seated themselves. Ah … shouldn’t it have been who was seated first take their order? Correct me if I’m wrong please, cause we were waiting for a good 10 – 15 minutes for you to take our order. Whatever … she takes our order and moves on. Red flag #4: While we’re sitting there, we see 2 bus boys just standing around doing absolutely nothing but talking about some chick and her boobs … Seriously guys. Inappropriate. 3 other people in red shirts just walking around the place, a floor manager(which I’m guessing he is by the diff color shirt) and one waitress. Um … what? Obviously this manager sucks at his job, he clearly could hear what his bus boys were talking about, saw that his other employees were doing nothing but walking around the place to look like they were busy. He did nothing. It’s like he did everything else he could to avoid them. I find that odd … Red flag #5: Our food finally comes out after another 20 minute wait. and you know what I smell? Not the delicious smell of breakfast food … but I smelled old grease coming from our food. Like the kind of grease smell you’d expect from a fry place that has used the same grease for a week or more. I ordered my usual … The bacon sensation omelet with pancakes and a side of hash browns. My prima orders the strawberry crêpe combo deal. First off, the hash brown, was inedible. It was so hard and crunch, it tasted weird. I poked around in the middle of it to find a not so deadly crunchy spot. found none. Took 2 bites and pushed that plate away. … My omelet. what a disaster. It was horrible. It wasn’t even hot. The bacon they used in it. I guarantee it was cooked in the morning, kept under a hot lamp and microwaved when they made my omelet. Because that’s exactly what it tasted like. The whole omelet itself was so so salty from the bacon … I couldn’t eat it. I took maybe 2 or 3 bites and I was done with it. And I am a big time lover of bacon! Bacon should never taste that horrible! My pancakes however was the only thing edible. I ate that whole thing. My primas food though. was the same as mine … hash browns sucked, the eggs were okay and she said her sausage was greasy tasting as well. The crepes she ordered were … not worth it money. Two crepes on the plate. The one on top was okay cause it wasn’t saturated in defrosted strawberry cuts and syrup … She said it was way too sweet for her. It was partly our fault for even staying. but we were hungry and just wanted to eat and go home. IMO … the Pearl City and the one on Ala Moana Blvd(my usual place) have the best service and their food doesn’t come out looking and smelling like crap. I don’t know who the hell was cooking last night. But, they need another lesson in cooking and kitchen etiquette. I’m questioning how this place got a green stamp of approval.

I don’t understand all the low rating for this place. It’s IHOP people… not a 5 star dining experience. We were greeted by a very friendly manager who walked us to our table and helped out with the kids. He also provided us with waters for the adults and waters«with lids» for the little ones. I love it when a restaurant provides water with lids for kids… keeps the mess down Our waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful. IHOP pancakes are really good, but they’re also really small. So I wanted 4 pancakes instead of 3 for my dish, and she made some recommendations on how to get a bigger plate of food with 4 pancakes for less $$$! Now that’s what I call service! I’m sorry to all of you who have experienced poor service, but I also think you need to keep your expectations in reality. It’s IHOP… expect quick(maybe not always friendly or helpful) service with good food for the price. Go get your flap jacks on! Cheers!

This place is pretty pricey, Not much under $ 9 here. Service was good and there is a lot of seating. Our breakfast meals were cooked well. Restrooms are across the hall near the bar.

The last time I was in Waikiki, IHOP wasn’t 24 hours. I may very well be thinking of a different IHOP but if the 24hour thing is a recent thing, then yay! If not, oops: x lol We came here for breakfast. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. However, we were waiting for a good 5 minutes before someone came and asked us what beverages we wanted. It took another 5 minutes to get it out to us and at that point, Jeff and I looked over the menu enough times to know what we wanted. All in all, from seating to receiving the food, it took about half an hour. It seems like a long time, and I’m sure it is. But we weren’t in a rush :) The food was delicious. I had that cinnamon brioche french toast. Jeff had the banana foster toast. I highly recommend trying that one out. The one I had is moreso for those hardcore cinnamon lovers lol.(whichhh i happen to beee) It took a while to get our check, but paying and leaving was fairly quick. I am sure to stop by again during my next night in town :)
