Hoki Poki Kona Coffee

If you are looking for the best kona coffee then Hoki Poki is an awesome choice. I always try to pick up several bags when I have out of town guests. Everyone that I have gave some to have nothing but good things to say about it.

I take my coffee very seriously, part of it is because I love the smell & taste of coffee, I even roast my own coffee beans at home as a hobby and challenge myself in search of that daily perfect cup of espresso! Have invested over 10K on espresso machines and have tried all kinds of coffee beans (even pure Kopi Luwaks). Recently I picked up a pack of Hoki Poki and at first I really didn’t had any high hope for it, because I don’t really care for Kona coffee, but… MAN! Hoki Poki was GOOD… the roast was evenly done, there are no crumbs or broken beans in the bag, I was very impressed. Its a bit costly, but you won’t be disappointed. I would give it a 5 star if the price are a bit cheaper.^^

This was how I met Suzy and my introduction to Hoki Poki. The name is so catchy! I found them at the Made in Hawaii festival in August. When I told her I was from San Diego, she mentioned that she was going to be out my way in October. We kept in touch via e-​mail and when her and her family were out here, she brought me four bags of coffee! I do wish I could get full pound bags, but the coffee is so deliciously flavorful, I savored those bags and only brewed them when I wanted something special.
And then the worst possible thing happened… I ran out! Luckily, I was heading home to surprise my parents for Christmas and when I contacted Suzy to find out where they’d be, she told me they were at the Holiday Gift Fair! So I stocked up for at least 4 months! It could’ve been 6, but I’m giving some to my sister. She needs to experience this coffee too!
I’ll admit it, I’m a coffee snob. So when you find a product that has an amazing flavor, you will do whatever you can to get it. They do offer mail order, but I like buying in person. Gives me another good reason to come home more often. I’ve tried a couple of other small independent local roasters on Oahu, but none can come close. This is the real deal! And yes, I’m drinking some while I’m writing this!
Hoki Poki No Ka Oi!

If you are ever in need of unique, Hawaiian wedding favors, then Hoki Poki is the way to go! We planned a last-​minute destination wedding with 10 days to go and Suzy (owner) came through with every request from artwork, font, colors, revisions and more revisions! The speed in which she replied to my emails and requests was like none other and her flexibility and patience along with her eye for design will surely be appreciated by all — especially last minute brides like myself!

I love Hoki Poki Kona Coffee! It smells wonderful, the coffee is so smooth, and the coffee grinds are super fresh! I love coffee and have tried many, many kinds but when you can drink it black without covering it up with sugar or milk… then it’s the right one, and I know that I have found my kind of coffee!!! I don’t need the cream or sugar because the coffee is THAT great!

Ahhhh The smell of this coffee in the early morning. I have tried many different Kona Coffee, But I like this one best.
