Unbelievable!!! I stop in to get a haircut at 5:30. There is 1CUSTOMER in the building. No one in the waiting area and the girl tells me the next available time is 6:30. Are you kidding me? I look around and started laughing. If you don’t want to work Saturday nights, just say do. I’m sure the owner would like customers on Saturday.

I used the mobile app at 11:00AM this morning and it gave me an appointment time of 12:30PM. I arrived at the Supercuts at 12:20PM. I was then told that I would need to wait until 2:00PM!!! Are you kidding me??? I needed to wait another 1 and half hours!!! There was only one other person waiting in the store. I was told that there were numerous other people that had called in that were ahead of me. What is the point of the mobile app? This is some of the worst customer service I have encountered. I have reported this problem numerous times before. PLEASE get this mobile app fixed or train your people in the store. DONOTUSETHISSUPERCUTS!!!

NICKY waxed my eyebrows yesterday. She took her time(a little bit), listened to ME babble on about anything. She was friendly, funny and was right on with what I wanted. THANKYOU, NICKY! $ 12.50 for the best eyebrows in HK! KOKOMARINA | 7192KALANIANAOLEHWY # C-127 | HONOLULU, HI96825

This review is primarily for Nikki who has cut both my bangs and my son’s hair. Nikki is one of those amazing people that you wouldn’t normally find at Supercuts. I randomly decided that my bangs were past the point of wtf am I going to do with this and I can’t keep putting my hair up in a pony tail. So, after the gym I walked into Supercuts and was seated right away — with Nikki. She took a very long time cutting my bangs and made sure it was the right length. She was super quick with Logan and it was painless. She cut his hair exactly how I wanted and she was the perfect person to give him his first big boy hair cut. This is the first time I’ve gotten Logan’s hair cut and I wasn’t like. ugh, I wish they did this instead of that. It was awesome. My only gripe with this place is that you can’t book ahead of time and if you request a specific person, there’s a $ 2.00 charge. I guess it’s okay if you really like a person. I’d pay extra to make sure Nikki keeps Logan’s hair looking cute.

Hollie is the best stylist there. She has cut my son’s hair since he was a toddler. She is now ‘Aunty Hollie’. She also cut my husband’s and brother-in-laws hair. She has never let us down! Another good, long timer that we just saw today is Roxy, probably a manager there.

The male working there named Michael does not know anything about women’s hair. He took over an hour to cut my hair and it was uneven, no style or shape to it and shredded up. I wanted to cry. When I attempted to ask to speak with a manager to fix it, he blatantly ignored me and just went into the break room to check his phone. This guy is really in the wrong profession. If you do insist on going here, ask for Holly, otherwise spend a little bit more and save yourself the hassle and grief and go somewhere else. Anywhere else. I should at least ask for a refund but I don’t even care to go back.

I went in because i got word of a great barber working there. Met Michael Elation and gave him a bit of a daunting task — I asked for a particular cut requiring a lot fading, different levels, a «line-up,» and unfortunately I have coarse and rather difficult hair to work with. But oh my Lord, he did a fantastic job, just the right cut I wanted, very talkative, and took as much time needed to make sure I had the right style. I found my barber and highly recommend him

I have going there for a few years now. Went in today nobody was there. I was asked to come back at 10:30 even though NOONE was waiting. Let me repeat that NOONE was waiting. Went to Fantastic Sams cut and price comparable to Supercuts and I did not have to come back later.

Chick working the counter is a capital B Biotch, «you HAVE to come back in 4 hours, we’re booked!» Don’t think so

As far as Supercuts in the KoKo Marina shopping center goes, I give it at least four stars, if you use the stylist named Iris. I don’t know about any of the other stylists, but, if you’re a guy, looking for a simple haircut, I would ask for Iris. Over the last two years that I’ve been going to this Supercuts, Iris has always done everything I’ve asked her to do, even though I could tell that she didn’t want to cut my hair as short as I was asking her to. Iris has probably been the most consistently good stylist that I’ve ever had. And, you can’t beat it for under $ 20(I feel very compelled to tip Iris well).

When out of the blue, while at Koko Nuts, my daughter said she wanted to get a haircut, I grabbed the opportunity. She hasn’t had her hair cut in a year because people always mess it up. We hadn’t tried Supercuts yet, and because she just wanted a trim and some simple sideswept bangs, and because the store was close and we had time, I figured they could not mess it up too badly. Of course, this hopeful thought was actually a portent of.doom. So the stylist *seemed* to understand when I told her to cut my middle schooler’s hair with sideswept bangs, to her eyebrows. I used hand gestures, I pointed, I used words used in regular haircutting. She understood how to cut the back: to mid-neck, no layers. She nodded, she repeated what I had said, she put her hands where I had put them, she said how many exact inches she would trim. Comprehension seemed to light her face. But then she cut the bangs really short and feathered all the way across. No way to glue hair back on. No way to leap over the wall and stop it before it happened. The waiting area faces away from the hair cutting area, so I had to turn my body in the seat to see what was happening. I did hustle up there when I saw the shortness of the bangs and asked the stylist about it. She asked if I wanted sideburns. I explained what sideburns are. She said I had wanted layered feathered bangs. Nope. As the child of an immigrant mother, I am sympathetic to language barriers. But to work in a customer-service job and not be able to understand seems a bit dicey. Another woman(the manager?) left her station and came over. I explained the problem. She said she couldn’t fix it, as the bangs were too short. I said I did indeed understand that and re-explained what I had asked for. She murmured an apology and I removed my child from the chair, not wanting to wait for the whole blow-dry. The stylist did do the back of the hair as I had asked. They did not charge. I feel bad for my kid, that I was not standing over the stylist making sure she was doing everything correctly.

I never have to wait that long to be helped. The hair dressers are very nice and(almost) always cut my hair exactly how I like it to be cut.
