This place is the cheap greasy satisfying hole in the wall you are looking for. However the slave behind the counter is seriously overworked! This guy is a machine but he needs maybe 3 more guys working with him! Management takes the lions share of course. Just wish they took charge.

It’s a small little spot down a side street and the veggie burger with guacamole was delicious! The prices are great and you can call ahead to order.

Home cooked meal for cheap! Wait is well worth it. One man show, taking orders and cooking the meal. Be there before it opens if you don’t want a long wait! Best deal in town.

Excellent. Came for lunch with my colleague and everything was perfect, the service, the food, the views. The hotel is also beautiful, in a colonial plantation style. Highly recommend this place!

Came here twice, breakfast and lunch time. Lucked out that there was no line. Since there is only one person manning the kitchen, you do have to wait. But it’s worth it. It’s cheap and it’s home cooked! Great service as well!

Small little place. Simple food at more than reasonable prices. Cash only but when Spam, sausage, 2 eggs and toast and rice is 3.50 that is not a problem.

Awesome breakfast place. Best prices in Waikiki. Food tastes like home made every time. Went there a few times during our last stay in April, 2016.

This is my first time here and it’s about a 2 minute walk from the Aston hotel. The prices are really great, less then $ 10 for breakfast for me and my wife. The guy cooks everything right where you can see it. The only down side I’ve seen is the place is CASHONLY. Not a big deal if you normally have cash on you but I never do. I recommend the number 4 with everything bagel!

Small local business conveniently close to our hotel. Expect to get your food and go eat elsewhere, as the place is quite small(we had breakfast on our hotel balcony and enjoyed the food and the view). Don’t expect anything fancy, but prices are cheap compared to other breakfast options in the area. Had a nice two-egg, spam, sausage, and toast breakfast for $ 3.50! One person is taking orders and cooking, so expect to wait a bit. On vacation you’re not in a rush so enjoy your visit and support the locals!

Simply because there is one guy in that hot @$$ kitchen slaving away. Maybe 5 barstools… to hot to actually sit inside and eat. However, You gotta love the«local» vibe. .we sat on the steps out front and ate our food. We all enjoyed it… it was filling and made with love…

It’s an experience. Down an alley, in a real hole in the wall. Did have to wait a while. Good value in Waikiki.

Well, OK. It’s not the most amazing food in the world, you get what you pay for. In the bin, you can see the cartons of «Hawaiian Teriyaki burgers» that used to be in the freezer — no hand shaped beef patties here. Edit: actually yes! The shop got in touch and: «We do use hand pressed 100% fresh beef for all our burgers — except our Teriyaki Burgers as you noticed. We use May’s Hawaii Teriyaki Beef Patties — a local company and the #1 brand for locals. The key is their secret combo of teriyaki sauce and beef(of course) and is essential in the Loco Moco especially.» — I should totally have tried the burger. But it’s also priced accordingly, and has options other than pure grease, which was much welcome when the rest went off to queue for half an hour at Teddy’s Bigger(but now with 1oz smaller patties) Burgers. My rice with kalua pork was pretty much that: an alright portion of pulled pork on a pile of rice with some corn and leaf salad. It fed me, and did so for less than anything else in the neighbourhood. I therefore felt like I got value for money. Also worth noting that on a Saturday where everything within miles was crowded to such an extent that people were sitting on walls and steps, it had plenty of sitting space. It’s in a quiet side street which is not a bad place to take a break from the exhausting Waikiki crowds.

Seriously, I can’t believe this place is so cheap and awesome. Make sure you tip the poor guy in the back slaving away at your food with a fan that just blows the hot air around in the kitchen. It is a slow wait if there is a line because he is only one person trying to make the food as fast as he possibly can after a person orders, which because of the unbelievable prices, people tend to order the entire menu, so you wait a long time, but worth it. It was odd to find, located in a sort of alley of sorts, but worth the frustration to find it.

A small little kitchen, and a place to order. Right next to a hostel, in a little alley way. 5 stars for this tiny little eatery, why? Why you ask? Because this is where you can get local plates, just spam, rice, and eggs. Or Portuguese sausage and rice. Just a good old style breakfast for a great price! Great location for this restaurant as well, the beach is just 2 blocks away. There’s only one cook in this joint, so be patient my young grasshopper, your turn will come. I believe the cook to be the owner as well. He’s a nice older man, who will make your food exactly the way you want it. Food = Delicious Price = Can’t beat it Service = Great, what more can you ask for? Location = PROPS on this bangin’ spot.

Very small hole in the wall type eatery located near a hostel and bike rental shop. I think the eatery is part of the hostel since they share the same name. It’s on a small street/alleyway. This is a great place to go for simple and cheap food. Best to take out(not sure if there’s space to eat there). Don’t go here if you’re looking for fresh, healthy food since most of the items on the menu consist of burgers, eggs, spam and sausages. I think the little sausages were cooked via a microwave. They do have bagels if you want that. I went here during the morning time to get breakfast. I love spam so I ordered the number 1 which has two eggs, sausages, spam and rice for only $ 3.50! Can’t beat that since all the restaurants nearby are $$ or up. There is one shy guy cooking everything but he’s fairly quick.

3.5 stars. Great value! A decent hole in the wall if you’re looking for some good, cheap food. I enjoyed my chicken teriyaki, not too overly sauced and it was served piping hot.

I ate here on a whim after I was tired of paying $ 15 – 20 for breakfast every day. Let’s be honest, this is no frills, I mean NO frills but the food was cheap and good. The staff was also very accommodating as I came in at 11:05 wanting breakfast(be warned, they changed the menu since some of the pics were posted on here) and they were more than happy serve me off the breakfast menu. It is CASHONLY so be prepared. I ordered the #2 with extra bacon and extra toast and was out the door for $ 6. The toast, well the toast is just hamburger buns run through the toaster but after being fleeced for a decent breakfast for the past few days, I was happy with anything I got. Definitely recommend to break up the breakfast $$$ game.

Went for a run nearby and was looking for some breakfast. This place is kinda hidden, but you realize while you’re looking for it that the area has a lot of back-packing visitors and the restaurant itself is part of some hostel. But hey… it’s pretty cheap for a plate of eggs, rice and spam. $ 3.50 to be exact. Good stuff, but you can probably do another plate if you want to fill yourself up.

What a wonderful place offering affordable options. I got the spam, sausage, egg and rice for only $ 3.50. The food is very basic which is awesome, sometimes simple is the best. It’s a little hole in the wall place near the moped rental in lemon st. It would be great if they have coffee too but their coffee maker is not working. They’re closed on Wednesdays and there’s only 1 person preparing and serving the food. Overall, if you want a simple and affordable breakfast then this is the place to go…
