When I entered the store I felt as if I was if I was back at Mexico! Awesome prices and great selection of bread and cakes! I wish they would open one where I live because I would go all the time!

Outstanding Mexican pastries & pound cake that is silly cheap. Like a grocery bag of them for $ 5 cheap. Cookies are merely ok. $ 1 paletas which are terrific fruit popsicles and cost $ 3 back home in Phoenix.

They have an awesome variety of meat and milk products. Their bread and cake displays are nice and the products themselves are delicious.

Wow! it is the best mexican grocery store I have ever been in. They make everything, and I mean everything and it is down right there. The tamales are so fresh and delicious, their pastries are wonderfull and I don’t think I have ever seen so many choices. I think they even make special desserts, like cakes which I have never tried yet but sure look good. Everytime we are in Hood River we try and stop and shop.

This is mainly a review for the desserts. Yes, if you have read any of my other reviews, you know I loooove my sweets. It seems like when I am here in Hood RIver, my health conscious ways, go bye, bye. When I go in I can hear the goodies calling my name. They have an awesome Tres Leches cake, the hubby likes the chocolate one. I also get a piece of the Flan, they have two kinds, so I have to get both, for comparison purposes of course. Then around the corner from the cakes is the bakery area, they have breads and cookies and the best Palmiers(or Elephant Ears) I have ever had. They have this perfect caramelization around the edges of the pastry, so yummy. I had a piece just a few minutes ago, and it reminded me I needed to write a review. My hubby also likes this pound cake with his morning coffee, at first I didn’t think much of it, but then I tasted it, it is awesome with coffee. Yesterday we bought some paletas for the twins, they loved them. I am surprised I only see mexican customers there, people are missing out on great stuff. The customer service is really nice too. There was a long line and everyone was very nice, they told me I could go in front of them, however I declined and told them I could wait, then a manager opened a register by the bakery. By the way, the pastries are so cheap. I bought so much and spent only $ 14. At this rate the most expensive part is going to be my Hcg diet when I come back home.
