Be forewarned, this really isn’t a service hotel. It’s more like renting a cheap studio apartment. You won’t get housekeeping unless you stay more than 8 days, or you pay an extra housekeeping rate. So if you want toilet paper, clean towels, or dishes, you need to go to the front desk. We did get a working kitchen with a microwave, burners, a fridge, and plenty of cabinet space. However, no dishes are stocked, so you need to go to the front desk for everything. The room itself is a nice size with a big bathroom. It’s decently clean. We didn’t get a real blanket — just a bedspread and sheet. Very peculiar. I’m not sure if this is standard or if it was just an oversight for our room. I will say that the AC /heat works very nicely. There is plenty of light and it’s nice that there is counter space you can sit at to make a working desk. There is flat screen TV, but we weren’t provided a TV guide, and there is no high definition so the image quality is not the best. Not a big deal, but more of a FYI. When we first arrived, there was no one at the front desk counter, so we had to wait for a while. When the front desk person came out, she didn’t apologize for the wait or say hello, just said, «Checking in?» and proceeded as if business as usual. That wasn’t very polite. I told her we had been waiting. We even yelled a few times to see if anyone was there, and we called, but no one responded, so we were awkwardly waiting for awhile with all of our bags. I said we were waiting 30 minutes, and instead of apologizing, she started to argue the point with me and said it was only 10. The«grab and go» breakfast is included. It’s apples, oranges, oatmeal packets, coffee, hot water for tea, granola bars, and pre-packaged muffins. There are two vending machines downstairs. Sodas are $ 2.00 each. The surrounding area of Horsham seems very safe and nice. Lots of corporate businesses in the area. If you need to get to Chester County, and you’re from out of state, beware the PA Turnpike! We accidentally got on using an EZ Pass only lane out of Horsham, and were fined $ 35.00 at the toll when we wanted to get off. There are back-roads you can take to avoid tolls using GPS to get out of Horsham, if you need to. It’s worth it — the traffic on the turnpike makes it a wash in arrival time difference. Many places deliver to this hotel, too, which is a plus. My overall advice is that this is a very low-service budget hotel. Do not pay for the rate posted on the Extended Stay website — only book using a deal site, because this room is worth $ 50 a night at most. Lastly, the«free» Wi-Fi here is unusable. You pretty much have to pay the $ 3.99 per day per 2megs to get any real function out of it.

We stayed at Extended Stay America Drescher from Thurs — Mon. Upon initial inspection it looks well-maintained but you will quickly discover that it is just a fresh coat of paint on a pretty unspectacular building. The good — convenient kitchenette, adequate suite size, decent staff, reasonable rates, good AC The bad — strange odor in room, uncomfortable and squeaky bed, rough sheets and towels, several smoke detector alarms, thin walls, no daily housekeeping While the kitchenette was very handy, the fact that our room wasn’t stocked with bare kitchen essentials like plates and pans was pretty off-putting. I had to carry a plastic bin with dishes and pans back to my room. I called front desk the following morning for a coffee pot and was told there wasn’t one available at the moment and one would be brought to me soon. An hour later one was delivered with a warm used filter pouch inside. They didn’t even provide complimentary coffee packs so I had to wait until I went to the grocery store to use it and the dish kit did not include coffee cups. I had to call daily to get bath towels because maid service isn’t provided on stays shorter than a week. The staff was friendly and it was clear they did the best they could with limited resources. I will find myself a Staybridge Suites on my next visit to Horsham.

AC unit wasn’t working. I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Phone in the room didn’t work, good thing I didn’t need a wake up call. Beds were horrible, low quality Linens I felt like I was sleeping in between sheets of paper. Besides the issues I had with the room the staff was friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is just okay. It’s not the worst but definitely not my favorite. I am staying here on business for two nights so it will make do. The room does have a slight odor of maybe that it used to be smoking and maybe they weren’t able to get rid of the smell fully?! It’s not going to kill me though and after 30 mins or so I don’t even notice it. The bed is firm, but I like a firm bed. The linens are just okay. Nothing to get excited about. There is a stain in the toilet bowl which I don’t think can be just scrubbed away. Maybe a more powerful cleanser could do the job?! When walking thru the hallways you can hear people in other rooms(mainly louder kids and TVs). Hopefully the night will be quiet

Emily is top shelf. She makes you want to smile whenever you are speaking with her. I hope you recognize the effort that she gives to making this place feel like home away from home. I could stay anywhere but when I’m in Horsham PA my team is staying here. It’s the people that makes the stay great! Chris
